I thought it was "Kitchen Manben" but it was actually "Mamaben" and "Mamaben Kitchen". I thought I had to register for both, but it turns out the registration is for "Mamaben Kitchen" with operating hours from 10:00 to 18:00 and they only handle bento. I had some errands in Kozumi and came in the evening. The errands were quickly done but on the way, I noticed a new shop with a lot of flags on the right side. It didn't stand out much, so I only noticed it on the way back. There were three parking spots available in front of the shop. I ordered the "Karaage Basket" for 750 yen. The shop had a pop music playing inside and it was run by three women. I decided to eat one there and it was hot and juicy, a bit salty but perfect for beer. It tasted good, like it was freshly fried. There was also a cat cafe and a ramen shop that had relocated. I realized that fried food is best when eaten fresh and not reheated. Overall, the experience was not as good as I expected.
