A new Mexican restaurant chain opened in a commercial facility called Dougenzaka-doori. I dined in and ordered the Classic Chicken Burrito with additional Guacamole (1460 yen), Chicken Lime Soup (380 yen), and Root Beer (270 yen). I used a mobile order coupon for 500 yen off. It was a Shibuya-like scene with 4 or 5 foreigners gathered around a table. The restaurant was clean but the seating space for dining in was limited. The sound of the Don Quijote store's catchy theme song and the call of the promotional staff outside made my head spin. The Classic Chicken Burrito was delicious and filling, with a nice texture from the soft and thick tortilla. The Chicken Lime Soup was surprisingly tasty, with a spicy kick but easy to eat, offering a unique flavor. The Root Beer, labeled as non-caffeinated, had a refreshing taste similar to Dr. Pepper but distinctively different. I felt satisfied after the meal, but the price might prevent me from returning. However, the opportunity to enjoy flavors that are unique to this restaurant seemed like a benefit.

I visited around 5 pm on a Monday and there was only one person waiting for takeout. Orders are taken through a self-order kiosk. It was my first visit, but I was hungry so I ordered the popular "Classic Chicken Burrito" in grande size. The burrito that came out in a few minutes was surprisingly huge. It was about the size you would get if you ordered extra at the American Mexican fast food chain "Chipotle". The taste was quite good. I think it would have been even better if I had added guacamole as an extra option. The turnover seems to be quick, so it's recommended as a quick option to satisfy your hunger in Shibuya.

I visited the newly opened restaurant and it was quite crowded on Saturdays, but there was some room for lunch on Monday. I ordered a salad bowl for lunch. I am currently on a diet, watching my carbs and calories, but the salad bowl was surprisingly filling with a good amount of volume. It didn't feel like just salad and chicken, and the addition of beans made it quite satisfying.

There were 4 energetic staff members, including friendly young ladies and gentlemen. Orders are placed using a touch panel, and they accept both cashless and cash payments. The best-selling item is the Classic Chicken Burrito, but we chose the recommended Guacamole Chicken Burrito and a trio of meat tacos. We also got a Sprite to drink, which came in a PET bottle. This is convenient. Normally, burritos are served fully wrapped, but this time we had them cut in half. They felt quite heavy when held. This seems to have more volume than it looks. Since we didn't know how spicy it would be, we asked for the sauce on the side (it turned out to be quite spicy when we tried a bit). One bite. Delicious!! Even the part without chicken was tasty!! You can also order through the restaurant's app, and it seems that ordering through mobile and picking up can be done without waiting. I'd like to try a different burrito next time.
