Location is Namba. I arrived at the final stop of Nankai. After getting a massage, I went for lunch. I saw a new shop and decided to try it out. It's called "A5 Niku Juuhachiban-ten". It's located right across from Hips and has a great location. It's a yakiniku restaurant with somewhat high prices at night, but for lunch they serve meat udon! So, what kind of meat udon is it? This time, I ordered the "Domestic Black Wagyu Meat Udon" for 1200 yen. Since it doesn't mention A5 grade, it's probably different. They are currently offering a limited time service where you get a free serving of teppanyaki with your meal, so I ordered that too. And since they offer free upsizing for the udon, I got the large size. The alcohol prices are honestly a bit high, probably the same as at night. I ordered a draft beer for 700 yen! The udon is honestly delicious but just average. The meat in the udon is not particularly amazing, just like the meat in a regular udon shop. However, there was quite a lot of meat in it. Considering that, it's a bit pricey. The broth has a calming taste, which is good. The udon itself is just average. The teppanyaki is decent, but not exceptional. It's not a must-try. This time, it came with teppanyaki and in a large size, so it was okay. If you only order the udon, the cost performance is not great. The service was mainly provided by female staff, and they were friendly and welcoming. The total bill was 1900 yen. It might be different at night, but for lunch, this was enough for me. It's a new restaurant in a great location in Namba!

I visited the restaurant for lunch and ordered the katsu udon. The noodles were soft and the flavor was gentle, very satisfying. The large portion was free, so I was also full.

The meat was excellent. Also, having toso in the wine lineup was great! ✨
