They visited the ATC Hall today for the "Extinct Exhibition" focusing on dinosaurs, chosen by the 5-year-old daughter who loves dinosaurs. After exploring the exhibition, we chose this place for lunch. When you have young children, the options are limited, so Gusto is a convenient choice. We ordered: Mix Fry + Rice for me, Black Vinegar Fried Chicken Set for my daughter, and Kids Hamburger Set x2 with a drink bar for the grandchildren. The flavors were as expected. What stood out this time was the efficient staff who didn't waste any movements and didn't engage in conversation, just silently served the food. They were like cat robot staff, with cat designs on their faces. It was cute and the grandchildren were thrilled. Thank you for the meal.

The entrance was small and gave a cramped impression, but once inside, the space was wide and the windows were large, letting in plenty of light, making it quite a comfortable space. This time, I entered Gusto. It is a well-known family restaurant. I thought it was a small restaurant because the entrance was narrow, but when I entered, it was a spacious restaurant. I ordered using a touch panel and waited for the food to arrive. Small children are happy because the drink bar is free. The food is also prepared with flavors that children like. Lucky Cheese in Hamburg Steak Set

Lunch at ATC (Asia Pacific Trade Center) part 5. This time, I ordered a takeout bento from Gusto Osaka ATC store through the internet. This is a restaurant under the Skylark Group, so the prices are reasonable, with the affordable bento priced at 421 yen including tax. The bento options include fried chicken, hamburger, pork cutlet, etc., but personally, I recommend the grilled options. This time, I ordered the Chicken and Basil Sausage bento with garlic sauce online. When I went to pick it up at the designated time, the warm bento was ready. There are several stores in ATC that offer takeout bentos, but this one might be the best in terms of price and service. I also received an empty soup cup and filled it with soup myself to take home. Isn't it a great value for money?

Visited from Intex Osaka to Mentai Park ATC. It was after 2 pm. Due to the event "Osaka Auto Messe" at Intex Osaka, there were 7-8 groups waiting. However, many people who were not called were waiting. My turn came quickly. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with a high ceiling, creating a sense of openness. Seats by the window offer a nice view of Osaka Port, but I was seated farthest from the window as I was dining alone. I ordered the fresh strawberry parfait that I had been wanting to try for a while, priced at 647 yen. It may have seemed strange to see a middle-aged man alone, taking photos with his smartphone while eating a strawberry parfait. The parfait was filled with strawberries, strawberry sauce, whipped cream, yogurt, fruit cocktail, corn flakes, mascarpone cream, vanilla ice cream, and cookies. The taste was average for the price. The Chinese noodles have a cold tantanmen for 646 yen. They no longer serve champon. Served in a metal bowl, it looks like Korean cold noodles, but it's actually tantanmen. It's best to mix the soup, noodles, vegetables, and meat miso together before eating to let the flavors blend. The noodles tend to stick together, making it a bit difficult to lift them up. Be careful not to splash the soup and get stains on your shirt. The taste is... well, not bad. (In mid-September, the cold tantanmen was removed from the menu and champon made a comeback.) The daily hamburger lunch set (hamburger, eggplant tempura, white fish fry) costs 523 yen. The lunch soup is all-you-can-drink. It's a cheap and good lunch option for office workers. Cosmo Tower is a famous spot for night views in Osaka, but I didn't know that as a foreigner. Last time I visited Osaka, I went all the way to the Rokko Mountain to see the night view, but this time I didn't have the energy. Still, I wanted to know at least one dating spot, so I searched online and found out about the Osaka Prefectural Sakishima Government Office Observatory Tower, also known as Cosmo Tower. It's located on an island in Osaka Bay where there are also commercial facilities and a restaurant district nearby, so I decided to go there for dinner. I didn't want to spend extra money to go up to the observatory, so I went to a nearby Gusto restaurant instead. It had been years since I last went to a Gusto. I ordered the "Pork Cutlet in Miso Sauce Set Meal" (with extra rice) and added an Avocado Shrimp Salad for ¥740. The salad was fresh and the pork cutlet in miso sauce was flavorful, although a bit difficult to eat without cutting it into pieces. The large serving of rice filled me up. After dinner, I went up to the Cosmo Tower and enjoyed the night view of Osaka city, Osaka Bay, Amagasaki, Kobe, Kaizuka, Kishiwada, and Izumisano. Surprisingly, there were few people there on a Saturday night. It seems like this place has become a hidden gem for couples. The observatory floor even had bench seats for couples. There was a cafe, but it was already closed by the time I got there. The view was great, but it was a bit lonely to see such a nice place with so few people. After spending about an hour there, I went back to the hotel. Who would I bring here? It's a secret.
