I visited on a regular day. Bought Andrew's egg tart at the platform of JR Tsuruhashi Station! The tart was crispy and delicious (*^^*) The taste of the egg was subtle, not too sweet, and easy to eat (^-^) Thank you for the meal♪

What is an egg tart? What happens to the eggs? What is it? Once upon a time, the original "egg tart" caused a sensation, with long lines forming in Dotonbori and media attention. I remember waiting in line excitedly. Since then, it has always been around. (The one I bought this time was from a store inside JR Tsuruhashi Station). It has a slightly burnt surface, and is soft. The rich cream and egg-filled filling comes out a little when you bite into it. It has a strong vanilla and custard aroma. The semi-transparent, crispy...soft base is more like a soft pie than a tart. I think many fans love this pie part. It's impressive that it has been around for so long. I can't remember how much one cost at first, but now it's 1,080 yen for 4. Decorative ones with strawberries or matcha are around 350 yen each. It may seem a bit expensive compared to bread or cream puffs, but if you think of it as a type of cake, it's reasonable. There may be competing stores, but in my opinion, Andrew is the original. With its elegance and appeal, it's a safe bet for a well-received souvenir.

I went to "Andrew's Egg Tart" located on the JR Tsuruhashi Station platform heading towards the outside. I bought the standard egg tart, strawberry, and the limited edition chocolate to go. There aren't many types of tarts, but since it's inside the ticket gate, it's convenient to buy quickly while waiting for the train without much crowd. The tart had a crispy crust and tasted delicious.

Tsuruhashi Station in Osaka, where the JR Osaka Loop Line intersects with the Kintetsu Nara Line and Osaka Line, is home to a specialty egg tart shop on the outer loop platform of the Osaka Loop Line. This shop is the original store located in front of the Matsumotoza theater in Dotonbori, with branches in Osaka Namba Station, Chiyozaki Dome City, as well as bustling areas in Kobe, Nagoya, and Kagoshima. While egg tarts have their origins in Western confectionery, they are famous as a specialty in Macau. The founder of Lord Stow's Bakery, Andrew Stow, is said to have created the Macau-style egg tart. This "Andrew's Egg Tart" seems to have obtained the rights to expand in Japan while adhering to the production method and taste of Lord Stow's Bakery, as a sign of respect to the creator. In addition to the signature "Andrew's Egg Tart," the shop also offers variations such as chocolate, apple cinnamon, matcha red bean, caramel, strawberry, and chestnut. I decided to purchase the usual "Andrew's Egg Tart" (priced at 270 yen). Although I am tempted to try other items, this classic favorite of mine always wins me over, so I always end up choosing this one... I will enjoy it at home. The top of the tart is glossy with a perfectly browned crust. It looks beautiful. Taking a bite, as always, the tart is crispy, and the custard cream inside maintains a perfect level of sweetness while highlighting the flavor of the eggs. Despite the explosive trend of egg tarts in the past, the fact that they are still easily accessible suggests that they are simply delicious.

The egg tarts at the station in Tsuruhashi are amazing! Each one is handmade with a crispy crust and creamy filling. They are a bit pricey but definitely worth it for a delicious treat!

I had egg tart for the first time. The pastry crust was flaky and light, made with puff pastry. The custard filling was not too sweet but rich, creating a perfect balance with the crust. It seems like it's mass-produced, but the taste is satisfying. Excellent! Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat Korean food so I went to Teramachi to find the Egg Tart shop that I had heard about. It was a bit difficult to find, as it was located inside the train station, requiring entry through JR. I purchased the limited edition Caramel, Chocolate, and Plain flavors. The Caramel and Chocolate had fresh cream, so they needed to be consumed within about 3 hours. I hurried to eat them. The crust was crispy and crunchy like I had never tasted before, and the cream was not too sweet and delicious. I would love to buy them again. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The old man has never bought Western sweets much. It's not completely zero, but the frequency of use is not that high. Well, basically, I'm an old man, so I don't have a reason to buy cute cakes or anything like that. But that doesn't mean I don't buy sweets or anything. I often buy Japanese sweets as a souvenir for the old lady who I visit almost every week at my old man's house, so I buy Japanese sweets a lot. After all, the other person is an old lady. I used to think that Japanese sweets were better than Western sweets. But one day, it was raining. I usually go to my parents' house by bicycle, but I had to take the train because of the rain. And at Tsuruhashi Station, I decided to buy a souvenir at a Western sweet shop called Andrew's Egg Tart. So, when I showed the egg tart to my mom at home, she said, "Oh, it looks delicious." She had a better reaction to the egg tart than the usual Japanese sweets souvenir. "Huh? Wait a minute? Could it be that even elderly ladies prefer Western sweets?" I was a little surprised. Maybe my mom just happened to want to eat the egg tart, but it was a bit unexpected. Maybe she was attracted by the appearance? She really enjoyed eating the egg tart. Well, stereotypes are no good. Even old people like Western sweets, huh? Of course, I tried one too, and indeed, this egg tart is delicious. The crispy crust and smooth cream filling are a perfect match. Recommended for a 50-year-old man and an 80-year-old lady with one foot in the grave. It's a recommendation from a not-so-reliable customer base, but if you have the chance, please try it! It's delicious (^^).

I stopped by during the day on a regular weekday. It is located on the platform of JR Tsuruhashi Station. Egg tart: 238 yen, Apple Cinnamon Tea: 260 yen, Chocolat: 260 yen. There are also various other types available. I took them home, warmed them in the microwave, and toasted them a bit before eating. I wasn't expecting much, but surprisingly, they were delicious. I especially liked the base of the egg tart, but the Chocolat and Apple Cinnamon were also very good. It's convenient to have them on the station platform.

Andrew's egg tart is a limited-time souvenir at Sendai Station. Although it is a sweet from Osaka, it is popular. The crust is handmade, and each one is unique in size and color, which is the mark of its deliciousness. In fact, the texture is great, crispy like a croissant, and it pairs perfectly with the cream.

Osaka souvenirs♪ I've been to Osaka a few times, but last time, I made a terrible mistake of leaving the souvenirs on the train platform! I missed the train and had a really unlucky day, almost cried... I also left the souvenirs for my kids, so they were very upset... This time, I came up with a solution to immediately put them in my big bag to avoid any failures! And I successfully brought them home! (laughs) (Who says that's normal! (^^;))) This egg tart was one of the souvenirs I got. The first time I tried it, I thought it was delicious! Osaka is a paradise for food lovers! When you chill it in the fridge, it's crispy and cool, but when you warm it up in the toaster, it's crispy and creamy like pudding, and the tart part is crunchy♪ A must-buy Osaka souvenir!!

It's been a while since I visited Tsuruhashi. When you think of Tsuruhashi, you think of the smell of yakiniku in the air and the Korean influence. While those are great, for me, the grilled skewers and fish are what stand out. I tried a few places this time. I also had some carbs for the end of the meal, but I was craving something sweet. I thought about getting a Lotteria shake at Tsuruhashi Station, but then I saw this instead. It's located on the station platform and only available for purchase in-store. I bought 4 for 950 yen, which is quite pricey. I'm heading home to enjoy them now. Ah, it's nostalgic. This was popular, right? It's a sweet, pudding-like snack.

On my way back from a business trip to Osaka, I found a shop called "Kiteru" selling egg tarts on the platform of Tsuruhashi JR. I decided to stop by and ordered the classic egg tart. It came in a pack of 6 for 1420 yen (tax included). The instructions recommended chilling it in the fridge during summer, so I did and tried it the next day. The tart pastry had a strong buttery aroma, and the sweet custard cream was rich and delicious, very authentic. A great choice! It is also suggested to cover with aluminum foil and warm in a toaster oven for non-summer months. I'll try the apple cinnamon tea tart next time! Thank you for the meal.

Why is this so delicious? I was wandering around the JR Tsuruhashi Station Circular Line platform and casually noticed a Western confectionery shop. The poster caught my eye, boasting "Tabelog BEST SWEETS 2014" and "Dotonbori Main Store won!!". I pointed at the poster and asked the friendly female staff, "Is this delicious?" She replied with a smile, "It may look plain, but it's recommended." Without looking at anything else, I purchased Andrew's Egg Tart. Each one is handmade, from the dough to the unique baking. The crust is crispy and the cream inside is elegant and melts in your mouth. The texture is what makes it delicious. This shop has been around for a long time, but I only discovered it now. I apologize for not being interested in sweets before. The crispy crust, delicate sweetness of the cream, and the use of eggs make this tart special. I am grateful to the lovely staff who served me. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of visiting Andrew's place after a long time. It's always hard to resist the tempting smell there. Whenever I go after a while, I tend to look for new items besides the usual ones. This time, I discovered the Strawberry and Apple Cinnamon Tea. The strawberry cream inside was good, but the compote tasted like old-fashioned strawberry jam, which brought a mix of nostalgia and plainness to my senses. Another discovery was the Apple Cinnamon Tea Egg Tart, which had a taste similar to apple pie cream with a hint of cinnamon and a strong aroma of tea. Both items had the same crispy pastry that I always enjoy. Overall, I really liked them.

A while ago, but not too long ago, I went to Tsuruhashi for the first time in a long time. Tsuruhashi is known for its Korean culture, so my main purpose was to experience the Korean Wave transformation. When I visited Tsuruhashi in 2011 for a Chima Chogori experience, I bought Andrew's Egg Tarts as a souvenir dessert on the way back, and they were incredibly delicious. I decided that whenever I go to Tsuruhashi, I must buy them on my way back. Even though it had been two and a half years since my last visit, the shop was still there and I was able to buy them on my way back towards Tennoji. I purchased three egg tarts this time, including an additional matcha flavor, as the previous two were not enough. They were placed in a box of four, so visually, I thought I should have bought one more in apple flavor. However, the matcha flavor had a matcha pudding-like cream inside and was still delicious. This time, my Korean Wave transformation experience was intense, so having something sweet afterwards was the best. Website: http://www.eggtart.jp/

Today, during my night shift, I found a dessert shop that had caught my eye when transferring at Tsuruhashi Station. Despite the strong smell of grilled meat filling the station, they were working hard to sell their treats. Their specialty seemed to be egg tarts, but the chocolate flavor looked delicious, so I bought a Chocolat for 230 yen. After purchasing it, I took the train to work, and when I opened it at the office, it was slightly crushed - I should have kept it straight! However, the taste remained unchanged and it was delicious. The gentle aroma and sweetness of the chocolate lingered beautifully. I enjoyed it with a black coffee. Let's do our best at work!
