It's been about 15 years since I last lived near Kiren Kabapo, so it's been a long time. I used to think that the prices were cheap back then, and they still are. The small size is surprisingly large for only 402 yen. It's delicious as usual. The chain restaurant is doing a good job! It was a bit disappointing that the whipped cream was running out and the portion was small, but I will definitely go back again.

Today is my day off. I went out in the morning to get a haircut, but it was a little too early and the shop wasn't open yet. So, I decided to have breakfast here instead. I had a "Hot Dog Set (528 yen)" with a hot coffee, and enjoyed a leisurely (maybe) breakfast.

After shopping, I ordered coffee and the service was quick and smooth. It was nice to have a quiet moment in the bustling mall, with social distancing measures in place and fewer people around. However, the taste of the coffee... Maybe they changed the beans? Personally, I found it a bit... the acidity was strong, and it was too strong for me to finish it all. It was a bit disappointing. The restaurant is located inside the Aeon Kizuriwarihata store, just a short walk from the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line Kire-Urihata Station. The lunch menu includes Italian tomato Bolognese, Vongole Bianco, shiitake mushroom and bacon Japanese-style pasta, squid and spicy cod roe cream pasta, and Milan-style carbonara gratin with 5 kinds of cheese. This time, I had the squid and spicy cod roe cream pasta set. After paying at the register, I waited at my seat. The food arrived in just a few minutes after ordering. The set includes pasta, salad, and a drink. The pasta has a strong flavor and is delicious. I would like to try other menu items as well, so I would like to visit again.

The shop is quite spacious with high ceilings, giving it an open and airy feel. The main focus is on the cafe, so the lunch menu mainly consists of pasta and gratin. Today, I had the Milan-style gratin set. The set comes with a salad and a drink. After paying at the register and receiving a number tag, you wait at your seat. The food arrived within a few minutes of ordering. The Milan-style gratin was served piping hot and did not disappoint in taste. I enjoyed it until the very last bite. I would like to try other menu items as well, so I look forward to visiting again.

Today's review is about CAFE DI ESPRESSO Coffee House at the Ion Kurenigawa Station in Hirano-ku. I have passed by this place many times before but never actually went in until today. It's not often that I visit stylish cafes, but today I decided to give it a try. The cafe has a high ceiling which creates a very open and spacious atmosphere. The menu includes pasta sets, doria/gratin sets, curry, hayashi rice, sandwiches, and more. Today, I tried the Bolognese pasta made with Italian tomatoes. The set came with a salad and a drink. I chose an iced cafe latte for my drink. The pasta was quite filling and the iced cafe latte was delicious, a true specialty of a coffee shop.

Inside the mall, there is a coffee shop with good air conditioning. It was quite cold for me in just a short-sleeved shirt. I ordered a Mango Frosty for 550 yen (tax included). It was a nice cold mango dessert that further cooled me down. They also had sports newspapers (daily) to read and relax. Perfect for my social media activities too! It was delicious. The milk tea was too sweet, so it was hard to finish towards the end.

I ordered pancakes, milk, and mixed juice. The pancakes came as a set of 3 on separate plates. I asked for the milk without ice (but it was the same amount).

The coffee is pretty average. The staff is not very friendly, but it's convenient being located in Aeon. I think it would be even better if they accepted Rakuten or T-point.

I have used this place many times, but it doesn't really suit my taste ^^; I enjoy the coffee until the end, but with this coffee, I always give up halfway through. I don't like the taste of the remaining half. There aren't many coffee shops around here, so I use this one. However, the other day, I tried the mixed juice for the first time and it was better than the coffee, so I decided to start ordering juice from now on when I come here.

I went shopping at Ion and on my way back, I smelled a delicious coffee aroma, so I decided to buy some. This is a coffee shop called Kaffee Kan right at the entrance of Kure Melon Smash Ion. It's a casual café where you can easily stop by. They have a variety of light meal options such as pasta and sweets, so when I come with friends, I tend to end up staying longer (laughs). This time, I didn't have much time so I ordered takeout. For those who find instant coffee unsatisfying, how about buying some here? The aroma is great, it's truly a specialty coffee shop. As for light meals, they don't have anything too fancy, but it's good for when you're feeling a bit peckish. Thank you for the meal.

Today, we had some business in Hirano area and decided to go out. After finishing our business, we stopped by at AEON Kurenigahappa store for some shopping. But before that, we felt a little hungry. Chibitsunu said, "I'm hungry~♪". We found a cafe inside AEON Kurenigahappa store called 'CAFEDIESPRESSO Coffee House'. Let's have a snack here. The cafe operates on a self-service basis, so we ordered and paid at the counter and then carried our items to our seats. Since it was hot that day, we both ordered a small iced coffee for 270 yen each. I chose the Graham Roll Bacon for 330 yen, which had a nice cheesy texture. The bread was delicious. Chibitsunu had the Orange Cake for 170 yen, which was a perfect size for a little sweet treat. It was a moist cake with a hint of orange acidity. We enjoyed our coffee and snacks while relaxing. After this, we went shopping at AEON, then took the subway from Kurenigahappa station to Hirano station. We headed to the shop we were looking for. ...To be continued.

【Revisit】4/25/2016 This time I tried their breakfast menu. They offer a choice between a toast set or a hot dog set, with various combinations and options like salad. I went for the "B set" which is a simple hot dog and drink combo. You can save 70 yen by downsizing your drink from medium to small, and the small size is actually quite satisfying, especially with hot coffee. I think. (laughs) As it is a local spot, you might think I go there often, but this was actually my first visit. I vaguely remember coming here before the renovation, but this time I came with a friend after karaoke for a quick tea. I usually drink regular black coffee at cafes, but this time I decided to try something different and went for the visually appealing "Almond Latte." I can't stand drinks that are too sweet, but this had just the right amount of sweetness for me to enjoy. (laughs)

I'm sorry for the title that doesn't sound like a review on Tabelog (laughs). However, I came across it while waiting for my order at the register. After going to karaoke with my friend, we were invited to have some coffee on the way back. My friend had an almond latte, and I had a caramel latte. The lattes were served with plenty of whipped cream on top. (*^▽^*) However, the sweetness was moderate and the coffee was skillfully brought out! For those who don't like bitter or overly sweet drinks, this is just right. It was easy to drink. Also, this shop is smoke-free, so even smokers can relax and enjoy their time here.

The Pan Diary may not be appropriate, but I had a little surprise so I wanted to share. I ordered a caramel latte...huh? Hmm...isn't there too much whipped cream on top? I mean, whipped cream is not surprising, but isn't it too much? For a moment, I thought it was soft serve ice cream. Should I mix it? Should I drink it as it is? Or should I scoop it with a spoon and eat it? I pondered for a while, then I realized I'm not really a "real-life" person (not because I figured out how to drink it). Do young people these days just drink this without hesitation? I took a photo of the menu...it looks nice, right? The caramel color is dark...is this the photographer's skill? I often stop by when I go shopping, and Coffee KAN is truly remarkable! Unlike Starbucks, the coffee flavor really stands out here. It's brewed by a machine, so it may not be as good as other coffee shops, but it's still decent! It's great that you can enjoy coffee until 10:30 am since there aren't many places that offer that. The smoking area is also spacious, which is nice! I've only been there at night, but there are usually plenty of non-smoking seats available. Coffee and cigarettes really help me relax. If I had to mention one thing, I wish they would change the paper cups for hot drinks.
