Aセット
It is located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Umeda. I visited during the consecutive holidays. On holidays, this floor gets crowded after 12 pm, so we entered the floor at 11:30 am. Still, there was a wait of 4-5 people for Docomo. I was considering between Capricciosa and this place, but this place was not as crowded, so we decided to visit here. The prices range from about 300 yen to 500 yen per plate. It is a slightly higher-end conveyor belt sushi. There are touch panel screens at the table seats, and you order using them. I had tuna, fatty tuna, yellowtail, squid, and beer. The children had tuna, salmon, egg, and eel. It was decent, nothing special. I am used to conveyor belt sushi, so I can imagine the taste. It is just as delicious. The advantage of conveyor belt sushi is the convenience. However, in this place, the menu is limited. There are about half of the options compared to places like Rikimaru or Kaitenzushi Umeda at the same price range. Also, the table space is narrow for families. It is cramped for 4 people. If grandparents also come to Umeda, it will be tight for 5 people. Additionally, you can only order through the tablet at table seats, which is a bit inconvenient. The tablet does not have many items rotating on the belt. You need to order individually. The tablet is fixed and cannot be removed, so it may cause some inconvenience for families. Also, the recommended items are displayed above the belt, and you might end up ordering them if a staff member is in front of you. It was a bit inconvenient to have to search for recommendations on the tablet. Unlike Rikimaru or Kaitenzushi, you can directly order from the staff. The items ordered through the tablet are handed over by the staff, which felt a bit disorganized. The tablet seems to be used only for ordering, as the staff came to count the plates during payment. Finally, there were no small plates for soy sauce. The soy sauce provided here is of good quality. It is placed as it is. It is not a big deal. In 100 yen conveyor belt sushi, you can use empty plates for soy sauce. However, there is no space for empty plates on the narrow table here. Also, there is only one soy sauce bottle, and it is quite cumbersome to pass it around because of the acrylic board in the center. If you ask the staff, they will provide small plates. There is a place where small plates are placed for self-service, but I wished they were already placed at the table seats. Personally, I truly hope this restaurant does well. Comparing it to Kaitenzushi Umeda or Kantarou in Grand Front Osaka, the satisfaction level may be higher there, but the travel is difficult. It may seem like a short walk from Yodobashi, but with children and elderly people, the walk can be tiring. And the crowds in Osaka. It is not about COVID, but simply the sheer number of people which can be exhausting. Ideally, I would prefer to have everything in one building.
