This shop also had mainly foreign staff and customers. The staff's Japanese was not perfect, but they kindly explained everything. (There are some negative reviews on other platforms, but I didn't mind at all. If you prefer a more solid customer service, I think Hot Pot Little Sheep, where Japanese is spoken fluently, is the better choice.) I ordered the spicy and tomato soups. *There are three levels of spiciness (I chose the middle one). I chose it while the staff warned me that it was spicy. If you're unsure, I recommend choosing the mildest option. My partner, who is not good with spicy food, seemed to struggle. We have tried hot pots at several places in the city, but I especially liked the soup here. My personal favorite (which goes without saying) was dipping coriander and garlic into the hot pot's spicy soup. "Hmm, spicy. Delicious." I felt depth. The tomato soup was particularly flavorful, and I was simply impressed. The best soup I've had in a while. I will definitely visit here again in the future. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal. [Menu] ● All-you-can-eat hot pot course 2880 yen

The atmosphere inside the restaurant feels like a Japanese izakaya, but the staff are Chinese, and there are many Chinese customers. The menu is also based on Chinese characters, giving a true Chinese vibe. Upon being seated, you are asked to decide whether you want to have all-you-can-eat hot pot. Even if you plan to look through the menu first, you are pressured to make a decision (laughs). I decided to order a single item, which was the spicy and mushroom soup. The spicy level can be chosen from three options. I like spicy food, so I wanted to go for the middle level, but the waitress advised me to choose the least spicy for Japanese people, so I obediently did. There is a sauce that you can make yourself or have them make it for you. I chose to leave it to them. A sesame-flavored sauce-like dressing was brought to me. There are no default ingredients, you have to choose everything yourself. I ordered lamb, beef, shrimp balls, tofu, and a vegetable platter. The spicy soup was really spicy. The sauce has a sweetness to it, so it would have been fine to have it a bit spicier... but without the sauce, it's quite stimulating. The spiciness of the chili peppers is more dominant than the numbing sensation of the Sichuan pepper. The lamb had a bit of a strong smell. The other ingredients were just average. The mushroom soup had a gentle dashi flavor. The waitress told us we ordered too little, but with just the above dishes, my partner and I were already full. There were many other single items on the menu that we wanted to try, but it seems that Chinese food is best enjoyed with a large group. We also had beer and highball, but the highball was very weak (laughs).

I feel like I ate Chinese food that wasn't your typical Chinese cuisine for the first time. I opted for all-you-can-eat hot pot, but the staff spoke very little Japanese, so it was a bit of a struggle. Luckily, I had a Chinese friend with me this time, so I was saved. Without him, I might not have been able to even place an order. The service and atmosphere were neither good nor bad, and definitely didn't feel very Japanese.

As I was passing by, I checked the menu book displayed outside the restaurant and was approached by the staff. I was dining alone, so I had initially avoided the restaurant thinking it was a hot pot place, but surprisingly they also had a la carte menu items. I visited the restaurant later on with the intention of trying out their desserts. I ordered the Yunnan Cross Bridge Rice Noodles for ¥980 (excluding tax) and wanted to order the Xi Shi Ice Mochi (Xishi Ice Powder) but was told it was not available. I then changed my order to the Red Sugar Mochi (Red Sugar Rice Cake) for ¥480. The staff mentioned they did not understand Japanese, but it was not a problem for simple ordering. After a while, the Red Sugar Mochi arrived for some reason. It was a soft mochi with a crispy surface from being fried, coated with black syrup and soybean flour, making it a delicious dessert that anyone would enjoy. It felt like a fried rice cake. After finishing the fried rice cake, the rice noodles arrived. It came with scallions, Chinese cabbage, seaweed, dried tofu, quail eggs, and a paste-like fish cake. The rice noodles were similar to Vietnamese bun noodles. The soup had a light salty flavor, making it a guilt-free and healthy option due to the lack of oil. Despite the generous portion, I finished it easily. I wonder if I can try the Sichuan-style shaved ice (Sichuan-style shaved ice) in the summer. The menu consisted of Northeastern and Sichuan cuisine. I noticed dishes like Twice-Cooked Pork and Mei Cai Kou Rou, so I plan to come back to try those as well.

While walking around Dotonbori, I came across a restaurant with a sign that caught my eye. I had only tried hot pot at a certain chain restaurant once before. The waiter was Chinese, and when I asked for recommendations, he pointed to various items on the menu and I ended up ordering them all. The surrounding customers all seemed to be Chinese. The waiter asked me what kind of sauce I wanted, but I wasn't sure, so I left it up to him. He brought me a sauce that he had mixed at the counter in the corner of the restaurant. I was allowed to customize it to my liking. The taste was excellent! I could feel the authentic flavor that hadn't been adjusted to fit Japanese tastes. It was wonderful. I would definitely come back to eat here again.

When I went shopping in Namba with an acquaintance and was looking for a dinner restaurant on Tabelog, I came across the hot pot specialty restaurant Shukoryu that caught my interest. Since it was close by, we went without a reservation and were able to get a table as we arrived a bit early. The restaurant was created in the place where a dining bar used to be, and the atmosphere was stylish, not what you would expect from a hot pot place. I love spicy food, but my friend prefers it not too spicy, so we ordered a two-color hot pot. The taste was truly amazing, rivaling what you would find in the original country! Honestly, it was addictive. Even my friend, who isn't a fan of spicy food, praised the deliciousness. The location is a bit closer to Nipponbashi than Namba, so it might not catch your eye easily, but it's only a 6-7 minute walk from Namba Station. The staff were friendly, and I definitely plan to visit again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This is my first time visiting. Among the hot pot restaurants in Japan, this place offers authentic flavors at a reasonable price. The numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns is amazing. I will definitely come back to eat here again.

The charger can be used, there are tissues at each seat! And the all-you-can-eat option is cost-effective! They make a sesame sauce for you! It's really delicious!
