After 7 years, I visited the chef, the hostess, and everyone else, and they were all doing well. The sashimi platter was all fresh and incredibly delicious. And the hamo hot pot was unbelievably delicious. I first learned about this taste at Joji's. The hamo bones grilled with a soy sauce-based broth, with plenty of onions adding a sweet flavor, were just indescribably delicious. And the fresh hamo for shabu-shabu was so thick and delicious, it was the best. Plus, today's hamo was so fresh that even the liver was still attached. Eating the liver with a completely different texture from the meat was delicious. For the finish, I was torn between half-done somen noodles or zosui, but since I had plenty of somen noodles at home, I opted for zosui. It was the right choice, as I could savor the broth. Joji, it's really delicious. Now that I'm back in Osaka, I want to visit again.

I finally got to go to a place I've always wanted to go to!! I was scared to go because there was no price written, but the bill came out to 30,000 yen for the two of us since we had a lot to drink!! It felt like a high-class izakaya!! The appetizers were so delicious that I was moved!! The chef was energetic and cheerful, and it was a cozy and friendly restaurant!! I will definitely go back.

This might be a good deal at this price! I ordered the special deluxe seafood bowl, but another option was the special deluxe tempura bowl! Among the various options, I was surprised to find shirako tempura included. The service was polite and I had a pleasant time. The restaurant was featured on TV, and it had a great impact. Customers were lining up one after another!

For today's lunch, I went to Joji-san in Fukae Bridge. It's a quiet Japanese restaurant that opened next to a very famous ramen shop. They offer a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, with a focus on fish. I chose the "Joten-don" for 1500 yen. The tempura, which is fried after ordering, includes various options like shrimp, squid, two types of fish, mushrooms, lotus root, pumpkin, and more. I also checked out other menu items, but they seemed a bit pricey. The balance between price, taste, and service was a bit off, but overall it was pretty tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Joji-san, who has his main store at Midori Bridge. Last year, the second store opened next to Ano Kanekuemon Honpo, and I finally visited it. The nearest station is Fukae Hashi Station, a 4-minute walk away. While the Midori Bridge store only operates at night, the Fukae Hashi store serves lunch. The interior is surprisingly spacious with about 3 table seats, a counter, and 2 sunken kotatsu seats that we were seated at. Today, my wife and I visited together. We ordered the Shanghai seafood bowl and tempura set from the lunch menu. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The seafood bowl is truly a work of art. The appearance, taste, and aroma are all thoroughly enjoyable. It's a waste to spend time deciding what to eat first. I've already forgotten the types of fish that were explained at the beginning, but I do remember the kinmedai. It was so melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The other marinated fish and seared scallops were also very satisfying. The tempura uses a type of cottonseed oil, giving it a crispy texture, allowing you to taste the flavor of the ingredients. With the quality of having 2 prawns for 1,000 yen, I will definitely come back for more. The octopus tempura was incredibly delicious. It was gone in no time. After eating, my wife and I discussed what to eat next while looking at the menu. This restaurant has a dedication to quality in fish, meat, and alcohol. I hope to visit one day to enjoy fish and sake at night. Thank you for the meal! Thank you.

I heard that the popular traditional Japanese restaurant "Joji" opened its second branch near the famous ramen shop Kinukuiemon, and they are serving lunch. I decided to go check it out. The menu board outside the restaurant helped me choose what to order: - Seafood bowl 1,000 yen - Tempura rice bowl 1,000 yen - Tempura set meal 1,000 yen - Deluxe tempura set meal 1,500 yen - Deluxe seafood bowl 1,500 yen - Deluxe tempura rice bowl 1,500 yen I chose the Deluxe tempura rice bowl! The restaurant was not crowded, with only about 3 groups of customers including myself. The restaurant is run by two men, one of whom used to train at the original Joji restaurant. After a quick greeting, I placed my order: - Deluxe tempura rice bowl, tax included 1,500 yen This was a luxurious tempura rice bowl! The tempura was overflowing with deep-fried items such as red shrimp, conger eel, scallop, squid tentacles, oysters, rapeseed blossoms, bracken, lotus root, green onions, enoki mushrooms, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and eggplant, among others. The variety of tempura was amazing. Each item was perfectly fried - the conger eel was fluffy, the squid tentacles had a nice chewy texture, the oysters were flavorful, and the shrimp was sweet and firm. The lotus root was sweet, the bracken had a spring-like flavor, and the sweet potatoes were deliciously sweet. Each item was fried to perfection. The tempura sauce was quite light, which was a nice contrast to the deep-fried items. The tempura here uses high-quality cottonseed oil, resulting in a light and crispy texture that doesn't weigh you down. Even after finishing the meal, my stomach didn't feel heavy at all. The side dish of eggplant was also delicious and satisfying. The original Joji restaurant in Kita-Shinchi has a luxurious atmosphere, but this branch has a more approachable feel. However, the dedication to quality ingredients was just as good as the original. I'm curious to try their dinner menu too. It was a great meal!

I had a Tempura set meal for 1200 yen ★ It included 2 shrimp, squid, eggplant, enoki mushrooms, horse mackerel with plum and shiso, green onion, sweet potato, lotus root, and many other varieties. I am very satisfied (^^) I am also curious about dinner~!!

The restaurant with a reddish wall is elegant and cute. The small raised platform with red zabuton cushions inside is also cute. I had the "joutendon" here. Wow, it's luxurious. The shrimp had lots of legs, eggplant, and mushrooms were delicious. The miso soup had plenty of ingredients.

After debating between tempura or seafood, I ended up choosing the seafood bowl for 1,600 yen. Well, it was delicious. Considering the price, it seems reasonable. The miso soup was also quite good. The appetizer was not bad either. They also have a loco moco bowl that I might want to try. Tempura bowl could be good too. 2023.3.12
