Hello! I am a cheerful old man who loves Chinese cuisine. I really enjoy Chinese food, especially from casual, not too expensive restaurants. I think Chinese cuisine is quite diverse. For example, ramen is also considered part of Chinese cuisine, right? I like to visit various restaurants, such as ramen shops like Eiyo-ken in Akashi, Kamiza in Nara, Moto-san in Tamatsukuri, and Kurudo in my local area. Of course, I don't just go to ramen shops, I also frequent Chinese restaurants in town like Tawaraya in Gunma, and Tatagui in my neighborhood.
This time, I visited a restaurant called Choujou in Kitatanabe for the first time. The restaurant was decently clean and could easily be busy during peak hours, but when I visited, there were no other customers. It was like a private dining experience for me. I looked at the menu and ordered the meatball set meal for 750 yen, which seemed reasonably priced.
When the meatballs arrived, they were quite generous in portion. However, the sauce was not quite to my liking as it wasn't as soy sauce-flavored as I prefer. Overall, it wasn't too bad. The portion was good and the price was affordable. Perhaps trying a different dish might change my impression. So, if you have the chance, I recommend giving it a try too. Enjoy!

I want to go to that Chinese restaurant where the oatmeal guy visits once a month with all his colleagues.

The atmosphere with the owner is nice. I like the fried rice, chicken karaage, and yakisoba.

I love Chinese cuisine and oily foods, and my main staple is oatmeal. I couldn't find this restaurant on Tabelog, so I'm making a new post! It's so hot today. And please, don't get my name wrong! Meatballs as a staple food, or mealworms as a staple food... that's a bit too much, isn't it? Mealworms are insects, after all! No matter how much of a gourmet I am, I wouldn't make insects my staple food! And meatballs too!... I've said it many times, right? My main staple is oatmeal. Seriously, I'm getting angry now. So, I came to Choryu today! I sometimes crave it. The lunch set is quite voluminous and cheap, making me feel like I'm getting more than what I paid for. What? What does Nitori have to do with anything? Today, I ordered the ramen and Tianjin rice set for 750 yen, as well as some gyoza for 300 yen. First, the ramen. Slurp slurp... gulp gulp! Hmm, the noodles are slightly overcooked, but the flavor is strong and not bad at all! Next is the Tianjin rice. Crunch crunch... munch munch x30. I chew thoroughly. Yes, I like the strong flavor! The gyoza is also quite tasty! Thank you very much! Finally, the owner said, "Thank you for coming in this heat," which was a wonderful thing to say... that's it... that kind of customer service is great! If you receive such words, the restaurant's rating will definitely go up. Tire shops and boring gourmet comedians probably don't know about such places! Oh? Because they only go to expensive restaurants, they only receive customer service that matches the price, right? Don't you think so? Tabelog?
