Today is the usual Hanakin♬, and I had a reunion with my high school classmates who are living in Tokyo after several years. It's a chain izakaya that can be found anywhere, but for us from Miyazaki, it's a convenient place to meet (lol). Drinking with coworkers is fun, but being able to chat without work constraints and in a relaxed atmosphere is best with classmates. I was really looking forward to it. For now, we didn't go for a course meal, just ordered a la carte. When it comes to Miyazaki, it has to be Chicken Nanban! We also ordered grilled local chicken, chicken with green onion and ponzu sauce, chicken yukhoe, and potato salad. The Chicken Nanban seemed a bit smaller than before (;_;) and there seemed to be less local chicken too...? Inflation is progressing these days, so it can't be helped. But Chicken Nanban is still delicious (lol) so we ordered more. This tartar sauce is irresistible (≧▽≦). Despite being a chain izakaya, the food is delicious. The beer options are great with choices like a mega size. Everyone has children now, so the conversation shifted to parenting, catching up on each other's lives, and reminiscing about old memories, and before we knew it, about 3 hours had passed (lol). As last order was called, everyone headed home. Some couldn't make it due to work, so we decided to meet again for a New Year's party. Looking forward to it!

I went to the restaurant using the usual shareholder benefit coupons. Last time I went to Hokkaido, so this time I went to Miyazaki. The appetizer was miso soup with vegetables, and it was delicious. When the miso soup ran out, they kindly gave me a refill without me having to ask. I still felt that the prices were a bit high, but the food was decently tasty so I was satisfied. The parent and child rice bowl was delicious, but really small... It would be nice if they could give a bit more rice. I will definitely go again next year.

I had visited this place a few times in my university days and found their specialty, the "Charcoal-Grilled Local Chicken," to be delicious. The quality has remained consistent over the years. One interesting aspect about Tsukada Nojo is their "Point Card System," where you can advance in ranks from "Assistant Manager" to "Director," "General Manager," and even "Executive." With each promotion, you receive a celebratory dish, making it a fun incentive to keep coming back. The system is quite appealing, and they have also digitized everything, including orders, through their app. While the focus on customer service seems to have shifted towards digitalization, I personally support the use of apps in my profession, so I view this change positively!

I have been disliking Yoneyama Hisashi for over 10 years. Today, I decided to try out this izakaya that started serving lunch. Regardless of my feelings towards Yoneyama, a restaurant is still a restaurant. As a food blogger, it is important to make fair judgments. The lunch menu consists of four options, including weekly specials, all priced including tax. The famous Jidori charcoal-grilled set meal (with sauce) is priced at 1200 yen, with free extra rice. While the lunch may feel a bit lacking, the taste is good without trying too hard to be original, which is nice. I personally feel that the Jidori charcoal-grilled could use some yuzu pepper for added flavor. If the price was reduced by around 100-200 yen, it would be more fitting. I hope they continue to do their best to maintain sales without compromising on quality.

Today, I went to Shibuya with my company members for the first time in a while, and we went to Tsukada Farm, also after a long time. The floor was a bit sticky, probably from spilled alcohol, but the grilled local chicken was still delicious. Thank you for the meal.

There is a izakaya chain in Shibuya's Miyamasuzaka where you can enjoy Miyazaki cuisine. I attended a gathering held at this restaurant recently. The jittoko charcoal-grilled dishes and nira kamatama were outstanding. We also tried various other dishes and ended up staying for hours due to the cozy atmosphere. I may have had one too many mega highballs.

After shopping in Shibuya, I chose Tsukada Farm for dinner. Surprisingly, I really like Tsukada Farm. Everything is delicious, and they stamp your card so you can work your way up from an entry-level employee to the director. Today, I got promoted to department manager. My friend teased me saying "Hey, Mr. Manager," but it was all in good fun. We had charcoal-grilled chicken and mushrooms, which had a nice texture and were tasty with butter. I had a refreshing Hyuganatsu sour drink, and the appetizer was stick vegetables with miso, which was delicious. I ordered the spicy pollack roe omelette, which was a double treat with the roe on top. The slightly spicy chapchae was full of vegetables and had a great texture. The bonito sashimi was refreshing with plenty of sliced onions in ponzu sauce. Finally, the rice mixed with the drippings from the charcoal-grilled chicken was like a satisfying end-of-meal dish, a bit oily but tasty. Everything I tried was simply delicious. Personally, I find this izakaya very convenient to visit.

It's been a while since I visited Shibuya. After finishing work in Shibuya, I was wandering around looking for a place to eat when I saw a sign for "Tsukada Nojo". I decided to give it a try since it had been a while. It was a weekday, so the restaurant wasn't too crowded. I started with a toast with beer and ordered Chicken Nanban, Charcoal Grilled Chicken, Potato Salad, and Motsunabe. We also ordered a few other dishes, but nothing particularly stood out. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the pleasant customer service that Tsukada Nojo is known for.

You can feel the atmosphere of Miyazaki Prefecture at this izakaya. The number of stores seems to be increasing. I visited the Miyamasaka store in Shibuya. They have quite a few unique menu items, but I think you should definitely try the following: "Nishito's Nira Kamatama" - A dish of plenty of garlic chives with a raw egg yolk on top. "Local Chicken Tataki, Charcoal Grilled" - Fresh tataki and a rare, fragrant charcoal grill. "Steamed Dumplings" - Water dumplings in a rich soup base made from fish broth. The ramen at the end is delicious. "Luxurious Mango Sour" - Lots of mango chunks inside. "Hinata Natsu Mojito" - Hinata Natsu gives a nice bitter balance. The gamification at this restaurant is interesting. Your first visit makes you a supervisor, and the second visit makes you a manager, with promotions based on the number of visits. And when you get promoted, you receive a gift from the restaurant. It's a fun izakaya where you can enjoy with friends.

I visited the restaurant at the end of the year, but since the beginning of the year, there has been a lot of talk about Tsukada Farm and its new yakitori business. Setting that aside, I revisited the restaurant after a few years with a friend. The restaurant is known for its great service, empowering part-time staff with a certain level of authority to provide lively service. A few years ago, I did have the impression that the service was good, but perhaps it was just an unlucky day, as there seemed to be too few staff members for the capacity of the restaurant. Each staff member seemed to be working hard, but unfortunately, there were not enough of them to attend to customers promptly. The food was average, but the girls in yukatas were cute, so that was a plus, I guess.

We went in a group of four good friends, and we were happy to find a table where we could relax comfortably. Although all of us are quite conscious of cost performance, we were a bit hesitant about the prices at first. However, once we tried the food, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, and everyone was very satisfied. The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance from Shibuya Station. The recommended local chicken dishes were excellent, but the other small dishes were also of high quality. We definitely want to go back again.
