The brightest restaurant in Shinbashi Minami, I must say. The menu is pretty standard, and ordering with tablets is convenient. It takes quite a while for the food to be prepared, but the taste is decently good as expected. The portions for appetizers are small. It was really difficult to find a restaurant in Shinbashi at 8 PM.

I didn't realize that was such a fancy name (laughs). On a Sunday night, I was wandering around with my dog. Of course, there was only the option of sitting on the terrace, so I casually strolled through the drinking alleys of Shinbashi as usual. Due to the rainy season, there was a light drizzle on and off, so I chose a place with a roof on the terrace. Ordering was done on the phone. Drinks came quickly, but the food was slow! It was almost time to leave when everything suddenly arrived at once. I felt like I wanted the changja first. The raw oysters were so-so, but the staff were friendly. The fresh lemon sour didn't come with a fresh lemon. Well, squeezing it is a hassle, so it's fine, but I still want to see the actual fresh lemon, you know? Am I the only one? (laughs)

I noticed a new and beautiful restaurant when I passed by recently. I decided to stop by after work for a quick drink since there were 2-3 seats available. From the outside, I couldn't tell, but looking at the menu, it seemed to be a Hakata cuisine restaurant. Even though it's early summer, they had motsunabe on the menu, and I saw quite a few people ordering it at nearby tables. My friends from Hakata have mentioned that Hakata people eat motsunabe even in the summer. But because it's hot, I'll try motsunabe another time. I ordered yakitori, fresh oysters, and beef tongue, and I thought the prices and taste were good. The issue was that the food and drinks were served very slowly. Also, the ordering screen on the iPad was in a language I couldn't understand in some parts, so I was unsure if my order was placed correctly, and the operation was difficult. There were also staff members who were not fluent in Japanese, so communication was often difficult. Since the restaurant just opened, I hope the service improves by the next time I visit.

I recently visited a new izakaya that opened near Shinbashi and Sakurada Park for a quick lunchtime drink. It took some time for the tablet to start up, so I ordered a large draft beer for 900 yen and some quick appetizers. Within 4 minutes, the beer and a small dish for 430 yen arrived. I also got a dish of chicken skin in ponzu sauce for 350 yen, which was not fried but simmered. After 7 minutes, fried eggplant in ponzu sauce for 350 yen arrived. I finished both dishes and noticed that my beer was almost gone after 20 minutes, but the grilled dish I ordered hadn't arrived yet. I checked my order history and asked the staff, who reassured me that it was being prepared. Soon after, skewers of chicken neck for 360 yen and chicken gizzards for 260 yen arrived on one plate. Overall, I felt the portions were small, and the grilled chicken, which was not served hot, was a bit puzzling. I used some shichimi to spice it up, finished my beer, and paid with a cashless payment as I went over my time limit.

Last week, while walking around this area, I found a newly opened izakaya. It was located next to "Watturi" shop. It seemed very crowded on Friday, which I assume was the opening day, so I decided to come on Sunday. Luckily, they were open and had available seats, so I went in. The ordering was done through scanning a QR code. Looking at the menu, both the lineup and prices felt somewhat familiar. I ordered scallop sashimi, eggplant nanban vinegar, and asparagus wrapped in pork and green onion (forgot to take a picture). The complimentary appetizer was mentaiko, which was a nice touch. The dishes were all decent. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere with only table seating, making it a good place for casual drinking.

It's a common type of restaurant where you get crammed into small private rooms, so even members with bigger bodies might find it uncomfortable. The regular-sized members also felt cramped. When someone sitting in the back needed to go to the restroom, everyone had to stand up and make their way through the narrow aisle, which was a bit of a hassle. However, the food was actually quite delicious. The drinks were served promptly as well. Just reserving a seat incurs a 1000 yen charge for cancellations on the day, so it's a place where you really need to carefully select your group of diners.

There are descriptions of couple seats, tatami rooms, and sunken kotatsu, but it's actually all on one floor, both the first and second floor. The food was decent, but nothing particularly outstanding. Despite advertising charcoal grilled chicken, the service was slow. Orders are placed by scanning a QR code on your phone.

The seating was more like a semi-private room than a private room, and it was really cramped for our group of 12. There were few Japanese staff members. Poor cost performance.

The speed is not bad. The air conditioning is a little weak.

It's just right for eating and drinking on a budget.
