Welcome. ---------- July 2020 ----------From the entrance on the 3rd floor directly connected to Shin-Osaka Station to the entrance on the 12th floor, floors 4 to 11 seem to be office floors. The top floor is the 17th floor. It seems like various things are unlocked with a card key. There are about 300 rooms, with only single and twin rooms available. It's like a business hotel, but very stylish, almost like a love hotel! Check-in is at 2 pm, and check-out is at 12 pm (quite long). For breakfast, there is a cafe called "Koji" near the entrance. It used to be a buffet, but now the staff brings various small dishes at different times. Drinks like coffee, tea, orange juice, and vegetable juice are all-you-can-drink. You have to order each time, but in these times, it can't be helped, so you end up drinking a lot of vegetable juice. The concept seems to be based on "koji," so dishes like grilled mackerel with salt koji marinade and salted mackerel were served. They were quickly served, so it seems like they are prepared in advance and finished to order. The salted mackerel, marinated with koji, had a strong saltiness but was mellowed by the power of koji, and the fatty flavor was excellent for breakfast. The menu also included fried chicken, glass noodle salad, okra with sesame dressing, ganmo (fried tofu), taro with seaweed seasoning, and red miso soup with fluffy rice. You can't get seconds of the mackerel, but if you ask, they will bring more small dishes. It's convenient to have a hotel directly connected to the station, whether it's a conventional line or a bullet train, and the ticket gates are right there.

In a compact room with a glass-walled bath and sink (lol), it was very reassuring to stay with my son and 4-month-old baby, although my husband couldn't stay. Breakfast is a half-buffet, with a choice of main dishes. I saw a follower post curry, so I also had curry. It was a pretty spicy and rich curry, but it was delicious. The half-buffet is vegetable-centered, and dessert is a yogurt fruit drink. It's like a cafe, with a stylish atmosphere, and I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal with my son on the sofa. Thank you for the meal.

I stay at this hotel located on the upper floors (12th to 17th floor) of the Hankyu Building directly connected to Shin-Osaka Station, making it my regular accommodation in Osaka. It is a stylish hotel that focuses on relaxation and sleep, with subtle room lighting. The breakfast-included plan allows you to dine at the restaurant "Koji" located at the hotel entrance. You can choose a main dish with a buffet, and the morning curry was delicious. The restaurant also offers discounted meals for hotel guests during lunch and dinner. The room size is small with only a shower and no bathtub, but the shower booth is located by the window, allowing you to enjoy the outside view while washing up or showering, providing a sense of openness. The glass walls also allow you to watch TV from the shower seat, offering a unique way to relax. This time, I encountered a room where the shower booth was inside and the bed was right next to the window, which was a first for me after staying here about 8 times. Although I was disappointed not to be able to see the usual view from the shower, the view of Osaka's morning sky from the bed was beautiful. The night view was also expansive, with the Ferris wheel in Suita visible, so I decided to appreciate it for a change. The reason for this layout may be the possibility of people passing by during maintenance due to the lower floor protruding outside the window, making it impossible to place the shower booth there. However, having a clear shower booth by the window made the room feel less cramped. The size was the same, but this time it felt more cramped. I felt disappointed especially after staying at another hotel the previous night, which was better and cheaper. Despite this, I will continue to use this hotel as my regular accommodation due to its convenient location, evening newspapers, tea bags available at the front desk, and morning newspapers delivered to the room. I also love the scent of the room amenities and the comfortable room wear provided. There is mineral water in the fridge, and the chair has a massage function. I will definitely use it again next time, but hopefully in my usual room type. For reference, I have included an image of the window-side shower booth from a previous stay.

Located at 1-1-1 Miyahara, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City, Rem Shin-Osaka is a hotel directly connected to JR Shin-Osaka Station. Designed to enhance sleep experience, the hotel features original beds, rain showers, and massage chairs. It is part of the Hankyu Hanshin Daiichi Hotel Group with a total of 296 rooms. The hotel has security-controlled elevators, a ladies' room, and no on-site parking (but nearby parking is available). Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. For my upcoming trip from JR Kokura Station to JR Tokyo Station with multiple stops along the way, having an accommodation directly connected to the station like Rem Shin-Osaka is convenient. I have stayed here several times in the past and appreciate its minimalist design and comfort. Unlike some budget hotels with unpleasant odors in the bathroom, Rem Shin-Osaka provides a pleasant stay without such issues. The hotel lobby is located on the 12th floor, accessible by elevator for check-in. They offer a ladies' room with special amenities like an aroma air purifier with magic moon feature for relaxation. Guests can choose their preferred scent at the front counter. The room key is then provided for access to the guest floors, which have security-controlled elevators for added safety, especially for female guests. The room shown in the photos is a single room with a shower booth by the window, spanning 14.4 square meters. There is no bathtub, but natural light enters through the shower booth. A roll screen is available to separate the bedroom area for privacy. The room features a massage chair and ample power outlets, as well as mirrors in various locations. A complimentary bottle of water is provided in the fridge. Breakfast is served at the adjacent "Cafe & Dining Koji," focusing on traditional seasonings like aged miso, soy sauce, and various types of koji. They offer a range of Japanese-inspired dishes for guests to enjoy. Breakfast hours are from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM, with a fee of 1300 yen for hotel guests and 1500 yen for the general public. I have accumulated reviews of Osaka establishments over the past year, and will be sharing them sporadically. Thank you for allowing me to share my Osaka reviews.

Connected directly from the floor of Shin-Osaka Station, an elevator with a futuristic atmosphere like something out of a movie takes you to the 12th floor where the front desk is located. Check-in is automatic - simply insert your card key into the machine for registration and payment. However, the process feels somewhat impersonal, resembling a capsule hotel with a mechanical feel. The price for a single room with breakfast included was 9,000 yen. Upon entering the room, it is clear that it is small and compact, with the bed taking up most of the space and creating a sense of confinement. The standout feature is the shower room, which is stylish with full glass walls, but not particularly useful for a solo traveler. Breakfast is served at the affiliated restaurant "Koji" on the 3rd floor, where you can choose from four main dishes including mackerel with cherry blossom, pork steak, vegetable mini curry bowl, and shrimp and vegetable healthy mini bowl. Other dishes are buffet style, with side dishes, seaweed, natto, salad, pickles, bread, coffee, yogurt, and juice available for self-service. Rice and miso soup can be refilled upon request. The overall taste of the food is decent, better than a typical business hotel buffet. The rice is multigrain, and the tea has a unique aroma. Organic vegetables are used, reflecting a healthy focus. This hotel is not your typical business hotel - it's a good choice for a slightly more stylish stay in Shin-Osaka, even for business purposes.
