Around 2021, there was a spin-off store of the Tanimachi Chinese restaurant Seiran, which was located in Shinsaibashi Parco, but it seems to have closed down at some point. I was worried because various stores under the same group, Kamiza, were closing down, but it's good to see that they are doing well. I was debating what to order at the ticket machine at the entrance, but since I have eaten at Kamiza many times, this time I chose Seiran's ramen. The interior of the store is mainly table seating, with about 30% of the seats filled. I ordered Seiran's tantanmen for 930 yen, with additional toppings of egg for 120 yen, chopped green onions, and meat miso as extra items. The meat miso was sweet and spicy. The noodles were thick and chewy. The soup was rich and flavorful, coating the noodles well. The soup had a strong sesame flavor. It had a spicy kick, but I personally prefer it even spicier. My dining companion, who is my mentor, found it spicy, but I like it spicier.

After several years, I visited Kamiza. I find it a hassle to enter crowded stores near the station. However, this place is located in a corner of the food court, and ordering is smooth without much waiting. The taste is refreshing yet flavorful, and I never get tired of it. The food court is lively, but it seems convenient for a quick bite on the way home.

If you're ever unsure where to eat, just head to Kamiza (laughs). The Kamiza in Hankyu Sanbangai is usually crowded and the shops are small, but if you go to the food court after 2pm, it's relatively empty and you can eat without much of a wait. You can also choose your seat freely (laughs). I usually just have ramen, but this day I also tried the minced chicken bowl. It was a set for 1090 yen. The cabbage was delicious. It's a taste that never goes wrong no matter when you eat it. I wanted to drink all the soup too, but I held back. The minced chicken bowl had a half-boiled egg on top. There's also Yokozuna nearby, but their dishes are more hearty and it can be a bit nerve-wracking for a woman to go alone, so the food court here is a more relaxed option. Thank you for the meal♪

It was delicious! I thought I might not be able to eat it while it's hot, but surprisingly I was able to eat it smoothly! The staff were polite and the purchase of food tickets was smooth. It wasn't crowded and I was able to purchase them easily. The collaboration food with Chikara Meshi, the simmered egg and chashu, was delicious!

After deciding to go to Kamiza in Umeda after work, I realized that I had never been to the underground shops in Sanban-gai. So, I decided to go to this shop instead. I was surprised to find out that it was a food court. The taste was consistent and delicious, but I was disappointed by the sudden change in clientele and the lukewarm shared drinking water. I wish they had at least provided cold water. It was around 6:30 pm on a weekday, but there were noticeable empty seats.

I saw a poster for tantanmen noodles at the storefront... It looked delicious... I was going to walk past, but ended up buying a meal ticket (lol). The smell was amazing! The spiciness was just right. The soup was delicious. The noodles had a good chewy texture! Next time, I might add extra green onions! I will definitely go back again!

The sesame fragrance is really good! But a bit sweet. And the flavor is strong. The broth is so rich that I got tired of eating it. As a fan of spicy food, the spiciness is not enough, so it's a fail as tantanmen! I should have just gone with delicious ramen!

I had been curious about the collaboration between Kamiza and Aoran, and finally got to try Aoran's tantanmen at Kamiza. I am quite particular about tantanmen! Since it was a collaboration with the renowned Kamiza, my expectations were high! The minced meat was sweet and savory, absolutely delicious. It was generously portioned, providing a satisfying meal. The noodles were thick and coated well with the rich and spicy soup. The sesame paste was so well incorporated that it naturally clung to the noodles! When eating tantanmen, there's always the dilemma of how to mix the minced meat, right? Should I carefully pull out the noodles from the side to preserve the intended flavor, or should I succumb to the temptation to mix the chili oil and minced meat together? And finally, the moment arrives! The chili oil and sesame blend together, enhanced by the savory flavor of the minced meat, creating a chaotic yet authentic tantanmen experience! As I ate, I started to sweat a bit, feeling refreshed and satisfied. I wonder if the parent companies are the same? I'm not sure about the details, but the collaboration between ramen shops, allowing us to enjoy delicious ramen without going to the main store, is something I hope to see more of in the future! Around 12 o'clock, I visited "Doutonbori Godza x Seiran" in Umeda Food Hall on the B2 floor of Hankyu Sanbangai by myself. "Seiran" is a renowned Chinese restaurant in Tanimachi, and they have a spin-off called "Tantanmen Seiran". Today's collaboration is between "Tantanmen Seiran" and "Godza" (both companies are related). Since I had already tried Godza, I opted for Seiran's Tantanmen. The menu included various ramen dishes such as Delicious Ramen, Nitamago Ramen, Vegetable Ramen, Chashu Ramen, Small Chashu Nitamago Ramen, Nitamago Negi Ramen, Negi Kimchi Ramen, and Nitamago Moyashi Ramen. I tried the following dish: Seiran Tantanmen for 930 yen. The minced meat was juicy with a sweet and spicy flavor. The soup had a nutty flavor with just the right amount of spiciness and sweetness. Overall, the Tantanmen was delicious with a perfect level of spiciness. When I went to Umeda after a long time, I found a collaboration sign between Seiran and Kamiza. I immediately headed to the food court where the shop was located. I saw Seiran's tantanmen on Kamiza's menu on the ticket machine and without hesitation, I ordered it. After about 5 minutes, my buzzer rang and I went to pick up my order. However, a problem arose here! There was spicy leek for Kamiza's ramen. Should I put the spicy leek, which I usually put a lot of, into the tantanmen? I decided to go for it and added a lot of spicy leek. It was undeniably delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Spending a day in Kyoto, I decided to stay overnight. I took a high-speed bus from Umeda Station, Hankyu bus stop, so I went to check the bus stop early and grabbed a bite to eat nearby. I wanted to go to a certain shop in the basement of Hankyu Department Store, but since I was unfamiliar with the area and didn't want to risk getting lost and missing the bus, I decided to eat at the food court in Hankyu Sanbangai where the bus stop was located. I looked around the food court and decided on a ramen, gyoza, and rice set that seemed filling. The shop I chose is often crowded at its locations in Shinsaibashi and in front of Tokyo Dome in Korakuen, and since there are no shops in my hometown of Fukuoka, I wanted to try it at least once. I was told on Twitter that it's a shop that appeared in "Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san". I bought my meal from the ticket machine and waited for my order to be ready. The ramen had Chinese cabbage in it, which was quite unique. The clear soy-based soup was delicious, and the noodles were springy and fresh. The chashu was flavorful and generous. The gyoza had thin skin and I quite liked it. I was surprised by the small portion of rice. Overall, the portion size was decent due to the ample amount of ramen, but the rice was lacking. I tweeted my thoughts and received comments from fans of the shop saying that they sometimes crave it despite it being located across prefectural borders, and that they grew to love it more with each visit. The taste is not junky at all, rather quite gentle, but it seems to have a cult following. I still don't fully understand it yet. I'm not sure if I'll have it again in the future, but it wasn't a taste that I found repulsive. It's a really gentle flavor.

I noticed that Kamukura has been operating at Umeda Food Hall for a while, so I decided to stop by and satisfy my hunger. I purchased a ticket for a delicious ramen for 740 yen from the ticket machine and received a buzzer. After a short wait, I received the ramen. The bowl was big! The Kamukura ramen, with plenty of cabbage, was delicious. The unique flavor of the soup was just to my liking, reminding me of the surprise I felt when I first tried it at a store in Dotonbori when I first came to Osaka. The price was reasonable for a ramen these days, making it easy to visit again.

The popular ramen restaurant Kamukura, located in Hankyu Sanbangai Minami Building, has also opened in Umeda Food Hall. They have collaborated with Aoran, known for their spicy tan-tan noodles. I was tempted by the Negi Kimchi, so I pressed the button to order the delicious Kamukura ramen with added Negi and Kimchi. It's like adding a bunch of cabbage to the already tasty Kamukura ramen. The combination of a large amount of Negi and bright red Kimchi is visually stunning. The soup, which can only be prepared by a soup sommelier, remains gentle and comforting even with the extra toppings. The soup is always kind and welcoming, with no need for additional seasonings.

Located on the B2F of Hankyu Sanban-gai North Building. Recently, they have collaborated with Seiran to add tantanmen to their menu. However, this time I decided to go with their default delicious ramen priced at 740 yen. It's a great deal compared to most ramen places that charge around 1,000 yen. You buy a food ticket, exchange it for a buzzer, and wait at your seat. After about 10 minutes, my order was ready. The ramen bowl was huge, about 30 centimeters in diameter, with thin curly noodles, light soup, plenty of cabbage and thinly sliced pork floating on top. Additionally, there were two slices of seasoned pork and toppings of doubanjiang and garlic chives kimchi. I enjoyed it while adjusting the flavor, and finished every last bit. Delicious!

Today (1/4), I visited the Umeda Food Hall in Hankyu Sanban-gai for my first ramen of the year. I decided to try the collaboration between Kamukura and Seiran, but I was not familiar with the Seiran's tantanmen, so I looked it up. It turns out that it is the main (or only?) menu item at "Tantanmen Seiran," a tantanmen specialty shop in Shinsaibashi that is a spin-off from the Chinese restaurant "Seiran" in Taniroku. Therefore, I purchased a ticket for Seiran's "Tantanmen (930 yen)" instead of Kamukura's "Delicious Ramen (740 yen)" at the ticket machine and waited for my order with the buzzer. When my order was ready, I picked up the bowl and sat at a table, gazing at the bowl filled with a yellow soup with chili oil and chopped green onions on top. The soup tasted rich and slightly sweet, but nothing particularly surprising for tantanmen. The noodles were chewy and fairly tasty, but the soup was just average, and for the price of 930 yen (even in a food hall), it didn't feel like a satisfying dish. I should have just gone with the "Delicious Ramen." That's my overall conclusion.

After watching a movie (Avatar: The Way of Water) for the first time in a while, I went shopping at Hankyu Sanban-gai and had lunch. As usual, I secured a seat at UMEDA FOOD HALL in Sanban-gai and searched for our favorite shops. I chose Kamukura this time. When I saw the tantanmen (spicy sesame noodle) on the menu, I felt like eating it. It seems that you can taste the tantanmen from the famous shop "Seiran" at Kamukura. Tantanmen costs 930 yen including tax. After paying, I received a calling bell and waited at my seat. When the bell rang, I went back to the shop to receive my dish. The soup was rich with sesame flavor, and in the center, there was meat miso and chopped green onions. The noodles were medium-thick and straight. The meat miso had a good amount of meat. It was a tasty tantanmen, different from the usual Kamukura style. They also offer gyoza, rice dishes, sets with beer or highball, so it could be a quick dinner option too. Thank you for the meal.

Creamy soup with plenty of sesame paste, just what I was looking for in tantanmen. The meat miso had large chunks that were delicious. I wish the Chinese spices were a bit stronger. The level of spiciness was just right. The noodles were thin and medium thickness, cooked al dente, but I think they would be better with a bit more water for a chewier texture. I didn't particularly enjoy the slight sourness in the soup, but it added a nice accent. It would be even better with a bit more Sichuan pepper and prickly ash. This is a personal record of my impressions.

Kamiza has opened in the North Building Food Hall of Sanban-gai. Wait, wasn't there a Kamiza on the 1st floor east of Sanban-gai? This one is collaborating with Seiran for tantanmen, but I'm feeling too tired from overtime for something heavy. I'll go with the light shoyu ramen from Kamiza. I ended up getting the Soboro Don set for 1050 yen including tax. Paid with a food ticket, received a bell in return. The food was served in about 3 minutes. The ramen bowl is quite large. It's been a while since I've been to Kamiza, but was it like this before? The soup has a transparent amber color. You can see plenty of cabbage! It's light but still flavorful, a taste that I like. The straight thin noodles are easy to eat. The Soboro Don is quite soupy, but still light. Hmm, I think I would prefer it a bit richer. This ramen has lots of cabbage, occasional pork belly, and the chashu is made from pork loin. It's more filling than it looks. I was too full to finish the soup, left about half. If it wasn't for the Soboro Don, I would have finished it all.
