The ticket says to go to the 23rd floor. It's an observation floor. The venue seems to have rented a Chinese restaurant called China Table. There is mapo tofu, but it's not just Chinese food. There are dishes like "niku-sui" that are Osaka-like. The food is definitely different from the budget business hotels I usually stay at. But you know what? The curry was amazingly delicious. Although I had only planned to stay for 2 nights, I decided to add breakfast on the third day before catching the first Shinkansen train. The breakfast buffet started at 6:30 am and was quite crowded with 150-200 people, so I adjusted my schedule and arrived at 8:30 am. The venue was still a bit messy from earlier guests, but I managed to find a seat. The variety of food was impressive and the quality was good, making it a satisfying and cost-effective meal. Plus, the view from the 23rd floor overlooking Umeda was a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast experience.

I bought a cola for 130 yen at a convenience store to go with the block chocolate. The size was mini, just right. It might be just me, but vending machines seem expensive. Visited in early August 2019. The cola was delicious!

Today was our monthly executive meeting! We enjoyed delicious food and appreciated the kind staff members. Business discussions were lively in the beautiful space. The pork steak was especially delicious! We will be back next month!

During this Osaka and Kyoto trip, I stayed at the "Shin-Osaka Washington Hotel." It took about 5-10 minutes to arrive from the station. I chose a plan with breakfast included, so I was able to have breakfast on the 23rd floor of this hotel. This is the view from the 23rd floor. I went to eat around 7:30, but the buffet area was quite crowded and the seats near the buffet were full, so I was guided to a seat in the back. When I asked for some syrup for my iced tea or iced coffee, I was surprised to be told that there was no syrup available. There were quite a variety of dishes for breakfast, but nothing special compared to a regular hotel buffet. It was quite a hassle to go for seconds since I was seated in the back. The breakfast cost 1,350 yen, but I didn't find it delicious, so I think I'll be fine with Komeda nearby. I don't plan on having breakfast at this hotel again.

This is a Washington Hotel near Shin-Osaka Station. It is very convenient, just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms have excellent beds and very comfortable bedding, perfect for a good night's sleep! For breakfast, you can go to the Chinese restaurant "China Table" on the 23rd floor. The mapo tofu there is exceptionally delicious! It's worth visiting just for the mapo tofu. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and all of them are well-prepared, so you can choose with confidence! The best dishes today were the mapo tofu and the meat dish. They were really delicious!

Today, I attended a year-end business negotiation event hosted by a toy manufacturer at a hotel that often hosts trade shows and business meetings. As usual, they served curry for lunch, which is a tradition here. The curry had a rich and flavorful sauce with chunks of pork that were cooked just right. It came with a side salad, adding to the overall satisfaction of the meal. They pour the curry over the rice right in front of you, and you can even ask for extra if you want. The curry sauce was not too spicy, with a savory and slightly sweet taste resembling brown sauce. It was delicious! It seems they aim to cater to a wide range of people attending the business meetings, so they keep the spice level mild. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and will definitely come back again for work. Meiji Lecture Hall: The atmosphere of this restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes. Overall, a great dining experience.
