I purchased fresh meat at Takaman Butcher Shop, run by Takiman, located in Yoshimasaen. The small butcher shop with a bright red sign had a showcase of fresh meat that looked very appealing. Today, I was looking forward to the Black Wagyu rare steak somen, priced at ¥690 for 100g. The portion was generous and great value for money. I topped it on rice to make a Yuke-don with egg yolk and chopped green onions. The Wagyu intestines, also priced at ¥690, had a fresh and great texture. I served it in a small bowl and dipped it in sweet miso vinegar. The freshness was almost as good as Takiman's grilled meat. The thick texture of the meat was delicious. I also served it with sauce, making it a luxurious dinner that my family enjoyed. You can enjoy the taste of the restaurant at home without much effort. I brought out a delicious Japanese sake that I had hidden and enjoyed a relaxing time. This is a suggestion for enjoying your time at home. This time, I purchased "Black Wagyu rare steak somen" and "Wagyu intestines". The dishes on the table had a main focus on meat.

This is a restaurant located near Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line Kawahoriguchi Station and JR Hanwa Line Miohon Station, east of both stations. It is situated a little south of the Kuwazu 3-chome intersection on National Route 25. Although it is a yakiniku restaurant, I did not come here for yakiniku this time. Next to the entrance of the yakiniku restaurant, there is another opening where they sell fresh meat, croquettes, and pork cutlets. The refrigerated showcase in front of the store displays various types of fresh meat, and it seems that croquettes and fried foods are fried upon order. The prices are quite reasonable, probably due to the location. I purchased a croquette (50 yen each) and a hand-made ham cutlet (150 yen each). The croquette is round in shape, not coin-shaped. It has a slightly sweet taste and a fluffy texture, making it delicious. It remains tasty even after cooling down. The ham cutlet is thick, so I warmed it up in the toaster oven before cutting it with a knife. The filling is made of thick pressed ham, surprisingly tender and substantial. However, it may be a bit too fatty for some people. The best part is that it's only a 1-2 minute walk from my home. I plan to stop by frequently in the future.
