After enjoying delicious cutlet ramen, I visited this cafe. I had no trouble setting the address on my car navigation system, so it must not be a new building. Checking the cafe's website, it seems to be located inside a ranch, with accommodation facilities available in addition to the cafe. This area has many ranches, and it is a peaceful place with not only horses but also cows. I had never driven on the road leading to the cafe, so I had no idea where it was. I found a ranch sign on the south side of a T-shaped intersection, but according to the map on Tabelog, the cafe is actually located on the north side, so if I hadn't checked the map, I would have been confused by entering the south side property. I drove about 100 meters north at the intersection and entered the ranch's premises. There was one car parked, so I thought the building opposite it was the cafe, but there was a sign at the entrance, and I realized that the cafe was actually on the opposite side of the stable. The shape of the cafe indicated that it was made using container houses. Inside the cafe, there were three other customers, but it was hard to tell if they were customers or ranch staff from their attire (laughs). There were two cats inside, and one of them was sleeping on a chair at a table seat. A young man and woman were running the cafe, and the male staff moved the cat for us. It's nice to have a cafe where cats can relax (laughs). After warming up with cutlet ramen, I felt like having something cold, so I chose the strawberry parfait, and my wife had a hot coffee. The strawberry parfait that came out seemed a bit small considering the price of 750 yen, but the soft serve ice cream was delicious. My wife's coffee was brewed by a coffee machine and she said it tasted good. However, the coffee cup was a paper cup, and the strawberry parfait came in a plastic container. It would make sense if it was for takeout or terrace seating, but it felt a bit underwhelming when enjoying it inside while watching the horses. Perhaps one of the reasons is that the cafe doesn't seem to have a large kitchen for washing dishes. I mentioned that I was confused because there was no signboard on the road, and it seems that they have received similar feedback before. In such cases, it is necessary to respond quickly with light footwork. Instead of commissioning a metal signboard from a professional, they could simply create a wooden handmade signboard and install it on the road. With spring coming, tourists who love horses are likely to visit, so I hope for a positive development in the future. Oh, by the way, my wife was puzzled when trying to pay with aupay. When I peeked at the screen to see what was wrong, it was out of service (surprise). Even though it's not deep in the mountains, au has no service there. The female staff kindly provided us with the Wi-Fi ID and password, so we were able to complete the payment (laughs).
