In February 2023, I visited the Yumura Onsen for a trip. Since I was worried about the snow this time, I decided to take a highway bus instead of driving there. We departed from the Sanbangai Bus Terminal, so we decided to have a light lunch before that. We found this restaurant by chance. I have had their parfait at the same shop in Uji before, but this was my first time trying their curry. They have three types of curry roux as the base, each priced at 990 yen. They also offer combinations and a three-curry platter. I chose the Vegan Soy Curry (although I don't particularly care about being vegan). It was quite spicy and delicious. They asked about the presence of cilantro, so if you don't like it, you can ask for it to be removed. I think I prefer the spinach keema curry that my friend ordered a little bit more. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is stylish, making it recommended for women and couples. Thank you for the meal.

Today, after a work meeting, I decided to take a stroll around the area. I noticed a sign in front of a restaurant and decided to go in around 2 pm. The staff explained that the Keema curry was the spiciest, followed by the bean curry, and the vegetable curry was not spicy at all. So, I chose a combination of Keema and bean curry. Of course, curry must be accompanied by lassi! I ordered the mango lassi. Other customers were all drinking tea. The staff informed me about preferences for cilantro, and the portion size was about a bowl of rice. They also recommended adding condiments to change the flavor. The soft-boiled egg had a hint of spice, and adding condiments enhanced the taste. The darker curry on top was Keema, and the curry around the rice was bean curry. You can also mix in the vegetables. I started by eating each separately and then mixed them halfway through. The flavors were not too spicy but rather mild. Even though I had a small portion, about a bowl of rice, my stomach felt full and uncomfortable. I was the only one eating curry, and later customers mentioned the smell of curry, so I hurried to finish it. I wonder why I hurried? It seemed like everyone else was having afternoon tea. It's not a strongly spiced curry, but I recommend it for those who prefer milder flavors.

Today's meal was spice curry and black tea. Spice curry always gives me energy. 'WOCCA ROCCA curry and...' is located on the 2nd floor of NU Chayamachi Plus. Even on a Saturday, if you go a bit early, you can get in without waiting in line. I ordered the spice curry and iced tea set. The iced tea came first. The black tea was Murresna tea, and it was served in a generous amount. The flavor was "refreshing strawberry lemon". It was a perfect match for the curry. Then, the curry arrived. It was a colorful one-plate dish with three types of curry: vegan soy curry, herbal tomato chicken curry, and spinach keema curry. Spice curry is a limited-time menu available from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00. There are additional spices on the table such as chili, sansho pepper, garam masala, cumin & coriander. You can add extra toppings to your curry if you like. The rice in the middle is turmeric rice. The soft-boiled egg was deliciously creamy, and the original salad with sweet potatoes was a perfect match for the curry. The chicken had a satisfying texture. The spacious and bright interior of the restaurant made for a relaxing dining experience while sipping on black tea. It's recommended for a meal before or after watching a play in Umeda. On this day, I had some errands in Chayamachi in the morning and had a busy schedule afterwards, so I was looking for a place where I could have lunch without waiting. I thought curry would be a quick option, so I went to this restaurant. The atmosphere inside was liberating and pleasant. I believe it's rare to find a curry specialty shop in this price range, but I ordered a combination of three curries (vegan soy, herbal tomato chicken, spinach keema) for 1650 yen, and added a spiced boiled egg for 110 yen. They also offered a pitcher service of non-caffeine Earl Grey Rooibos tea for unlimited refills. The curry was delicious in my opinion. I could taste the soy but couldn't really distinguish the chicken and keema (minced meat). If you're looking for a healthy meal and enjoy tea, this place might be good for you.

WOCCA ROCCA curry ¥1980 I can't remember exactly what curry it was, but there were three types of curry served together. You can choose whether you want cilantro or not, which was nice. I liked the tomato curry near the chicken the most. The egg was also very creamy. The cafe menu looked cute and delicious as well.

The curry in the set with tea was really delicious with strong spices!! The combination of curry and cilantro was excellent ^^ The ice cream was also incredibly delicious. We enjoyed over 5 different types of tea in the set.

Tea Tree offers a wide variety of Muresna tea, which was a great deal and made me very happy. The baked goods and sweets were also delicious.
