I revisited this restaurant because I had a great meal there the other day. I carefully checked the menu at home and ordered something that caught my eye. I ordered the Cumin Steamed Egg for 800 yen. When I saw the menu image, I thought it was a cumin stir-fried fava bean dish. The green color made me think it was fava beans, and I mistakenly thought "蛋" was "蚕" (fava beans). But upon closer look, "蛋" means egg. It is a dish popular in northeastern China made by steaming beaten eggs with baking soda and then stir-frying them with cumin. The dish that arrived was brown with some green parts visible. When I tried it, it had a pudding-like texture with a firm and jelly-like consistency, similar to the white part of a century egg. The chewed cross-section was a translucent light blue-green. It was stir-fried with onions and generously seasoned with cumin and sesame. It had a unique taste that I had never experienced before, with a delicious simplicity that allowed me to savor the texture. The main dish this time was Pork and Celery Dumplings for 600 yen. I was told there was also chives, but I chose celery intentionally. The minced celery leaves were plentiful, and biting into the dumplings released a flavorful soup with a refreshing celery aroma. Even without dipping in vinegar soy sauce, the dumplings were delicious. Once again, I was completely satisfied. This place offers affordable prices and interesting menu options, making it a fun dining experience.

There was a sign for Sichuan cuisine, but on the other side, it said Northeastern cuisine. The neon lights were off today, but the restaurant looked clean and new inside. The menu was only in Chinese, but there was a staff member who could speak Japanese to take orders. I ordered Mei Cai Kao Rou for ¥1100 and rice for ¥200. The portion was good for one person, so I also ordered dessert. The Mei Cai Kao Rou was tasty, with plenty of vegetables under the pork belly. The rice was decent. I also ordered Xue Mian Dou Sha for ¥1200, a dessert unavailable at another restaurant. It was like a fluffy marshmallow with red bean paste inside. It was fried but not greasy. I couldn't finish it all, so I took some home. The texture changed a bit over time, but it was still delicious. I would like to visit again because the food was so good.
