Due to my love for Asatsuyu, I walked around Kyoto in the scorching heat. Asatsuyu tastes delicious no matter where you have it. However, perhaps due to the large number of tourists in Kyoto, or just by chance, the service was cold and indifferent, which somewhat diminished the enjoyment of the delicious Asatsuyu. It's a bit of a shame. Compatibility is also a factor, making it quite challenging. Despite this, the deliciousness of Asatsuyu is bittersweet. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a casual course with small portions, which was just the right amount to enjoy the wine as the main focus. This time, we ordered bottles because it was a friend's birthday and there were many of us, but I would like to try the pairing course next time!

I had the early summer hydrangea course. It seems to be available until July 2nd. Each dish was very delicate and delicious! There was also a red wine tasting set that you can enjoy in small amounts. Being able to choose the quantity is great for me, as I'm not good with alcohol! The atmosphere is also nice, so I recommend it for entertaining or adult dates!

As the name suggests, the restaurant primarily serves wine. I'm not very knowledgeable about wine, but I enjoyed what I had. I love Kenzo Estate! This time, I visited the Kenzo Estate Winery Gion store. The atmosphere inside the store was lovely, with a beautiful counter where I enjoyed great drinks, delicious food, and a wonderful time. It was amazing! We started with a toast with Sei, and also tried Asatsuyu Shinon Rin Do Yu Ai. For food, we had an assortment of appetizers in a wine crate, pot-fried Kyoto vegetables with yuzu pepper sauce, roasted deer meat from Ohara, 3 types of butter sticks, and smoked cheese with mascarpone bread. If this place was near my home, I would definitely visit often! I will definitely come back when I visit Kyoto again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I chose the counter seats, and it was relatively quiet for a weekday evening. They had a wide selection of wines, and I enjoyed a bottle each of rosé and white, both easy to drink and refreshing. The rosé called "yui" became my personal favorite. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about wine, with impeccable manners. My friend even exchanged business cards with them, showing how much they enjoyed the place. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I ended up ordering the sparkling wine separately, but it was more expensive than the white wine, so I felt a bit uneasy about it. Despite this, the restaurant is a lovely place where you can relax even if you are dining alone, which is rare to find. It is a bit pricey, but the taste, service, and ambiance are outstanding, making it a great choice for a special lunch treat. Today I went to a bar for drinks. I had some wine and chocolate, and also tried some prosciutto and beef. It was delicious, and I wonder if it was homemade. The wine paired well with the saltiness! The menu had changed, so I will definitely come back again.

It was selected as one of the top 100 Italian restaurants in 2021 by Italian West. I ordered the seasonal lunch course, which includes a glass of homemade rosé wine, a stylish amuse-bouche served in a wine crate, pasta, meat dishes, and dessert. The rosé wine was fruity and easy to drink with a balanced acidity. The seafood dish topped with olive oil caviar and the salmon sandwiched in a panini were excellent starters. The chewy Japanese-style pasta and the skewered Kobe pork prosciutto were so delicious that I wanted more even though the portion was just right. This is a must-visit restaurant for wine lovers. Since this is a restaurant where wine takes center stage rather than the food, those who cannot drink wine may not enjoy it as much. I tried the unique Asatsuyu for the first time, and it was quite impressive. What a glamorous taste... It is said to be 95% Sauvignon Blanc, but it has such a strong individuality that it no longer feels like Sauvignon Blanc. Asatsuyu is a one-of-a-kind presence. Everything from the food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful, and it was a very enjoyable lunch. Wine lovers should definitely visit.

I tried the red wine comparison tasting set and it led to a wonderful encounter with the president, Ms. Natsuko Tsujimoto, sparked by a discussion about rindo2016. The pate had Kyoto specialties like tofu and venison, so I wanted to try it. It was slightly thick with a light sweetness to the meat. Figs and other ingredients added a unique flavor that differed from other pates I've had before. It came with rock salt and mustard, allowing me to enjoy it according to my preference. The stone pot dish was an original dish from the Gion branch, and it was delicious. It was a luxurious dish with prawns and abalone on a sizzling hot stone. When the broth was poured over it, there was a sizzling sound, and the aroma was enticing. The broth enhanced the seafood's flavor, and the sizzle and aroma stimulated my appetite. I paired this dish with rindo and asuka, a red wine, which complemented the concentrated umami of the seafood with its mild and rich taste. The serving size made me worry if I could finish it alone, but the staff kindly offered to serve half portions. I started with half portions of both dishes, but the stone pot was so delicious that I couldn't resist getting a full portion. The staff also allowed me to change the fish for my second serving, which I appreciated. They even lent me a knee blanket, adding to the warmth and comfort of the experience. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied with the delicious food and great hospitality. I look forward to trying the fugu and sukiyaki in the stone pot next time!
