Tokyo business trip is over. My wife came to pick me up at the airport. Let's have a meal together on the way back. I want to enjoy a nice meal with some alcohol as a reward after the business trip. I want to go to this restaurant that I haven't been to in over 10 years. I don't like waiting in line even at delicious restaurants. But if it's after 7 pm on a weekday, I probably won't have to wait in line. That's why I chose this place. When we arrived at the restaurant, the parking lot was empty. This is the perfect time to go in. Inside, we were asked if we wanted a table or counter seat. We chose a table for two. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very polite. They explained everything in detail. I had a hard time focusing on the sushi because of how detailed the explanations were (laughs). Apparently, we had to order through a touch panel. I ordered a draft beer and tempura soba as a soup dish. I also ordered my favorite tuna, the recommended Hokkigai, and salmon from Aomori. The dishes arrived quickly after ordering. Wow... the tuna was delicious. It was so fresh. And the sushi rice was delicious. It was different from other places. The flavor and texture of the sushi rice was just right. I was surprised. And the wasabi was just perfect. The Hokkigai was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The domestic salmon was very rare. It had just the right amount of fat and was very delicious. Hmm... this is amazing. I feel so lucky to be able to enjoy sushi like this at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The soba in the tempura soba had a delicious flavor. The tempura was crispy and the flavor of the shrimp was great. The soba broth was light and didn't linger on the palate, making it a great accompaniment to eating sushi. I ordered my favorite Tekkamaki. Wow... when the Tekkamaki arrived and I placed it on the table, the flavor of the seaweed was delightful. It's rare to encounter such flavorful seaweed in a Tekkamaki. Sometimes, if the seaweed flavor is too strong, it overpowers the ingredients, but not here. The fresh ingredients and strong flavor of the sushi rice complemented each other. Hmm... I'm amazed. Finally, as a snack with my beer, I ordered squid tempura. It must be delicious. The squid tempura arrived hot and crispy. The squid was tender and the batter was well seasoned. It went well with the beer. My wife and I in our 50s were full by this point. Wow... it was delicious. It's definitely a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Thank you for the meal. I would love to visit again.

Even on regular days, the waiting time is usually around 1 hour. Today, I visited around 7 pm and had to wait for 2 hours~ but I was completely satisfied with the consistent deliciousness and great value for money. The turnover rate is quite good, but there are just so many customers.. Still, it's a restaurant that I feel like coming back to once in a while ☺︎

I visited the restaurant around 11 am on a holiday and it was extremely crowded, showing how popular it is. I waited for about 40 minutes to get in. Every sushi was fresh and delicious, especially the recommended sea urchin and herring. Personally, I recommend the salmon, tuna, and eel cheese roll.

I have visited this restaurant several times before, but there was always a long line. During my trip to Asahikawa, I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes before it opened at 11 am. Even then, there were already about 20 people waiting. We had to take turns waiting in line for 10 minutes due to the scorching sun. By the time the restaurant opened, there were about 60 people waiting, but we were able to be seated just in time for the first round. Although the prices are a bit high for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Hokkaido, the staff greeted us with a refreshing and energetic welcome as soon as we entered. The sushi is made by skilled chefs, and the one in charge greets you first. Perhaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic, despite being a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, we placed our orders using a tablet at our table. The scallop, crab, and sea snail sushi were on a different level compared to what you would find in mainland Japan. The clam soup, priced at just over 300 yen, was filled with plenty of meat. I usually end my meal with a kappa maki roll, and the kappa maki here is different. They offer a children's kappa maki, which is made with thinly sliced cucumbers and is easy to eat.

I came to Hokkaido but didn't eat seafood. Today is the day to head south to Hakodate. I wanted to try local dishes, so I decided to eat at this conveyor belt sushi restaurant on the way in Asahikawa. I had to wait for about 1 hour until I was seated at the counter. I ordered various items such as tsubugai, spear squid, and flounder, all based on Hokkaido produce. The prices were a bit high, but the sushi pieces were large and delicious. If I ever feel like eating conveyor belt sushi in Hokkaido again, I might come back to this place. Thank you for the meal! 🍣

I took a numbered ticket at 5:40 and was called two hours later. However, the wait was definitely worth it as the sushi was incredibly delicious and of high quality. The tuna and sea urchin in particular were so delicious that I was moved. If you ever travel to Hokkaido, you should definitely visit this great revolving sushi restaurant!

I arrived at around 1:30 pm on a weekday. There were about 30 groups ahead of me, so I had to wait for about an hour and a half to get in. You can wait in your car. The food was really delicious and the cost performance was good. The wait time was quite long, so I would only go when I have plenty of time. It cost around 6000 yen for two people.

I was thinking of eating sushi in Asahikawa, and this place seemed to be the most popular. I later found out that they also have branches in Tokyo. It was a little past 6:00 on a weekday, but there were already 29 groups waiting... I ended up waiting for about 1.5 hours. The sushi was delicious with fresh and large cuts of tuna, clam, salmon, octopus, squid, seared salmon, and chawanmushi. I think we also ordered a few other dishes. I will definitely try their Tokyo branch as well.

When I went to Tokyo, I said I wouldn't be able to eat sushi for a while, and that's the kind of place that feels right. I said this one-liner to a friend when I graduated from college and moved to Tokyo 17 years ago. Eating there brings back memories. The salmon is no longer at the level of conveyor belt sushi. And it's too cheap, after all. By the way, I'm at a good age, so I know more about sushi in Tokyo than my past self who had just moved here, so I can still eat sushi in Tokyo, but I still think the cost performance is unbeatable. The hospitality of the staff is also top-notch. I was very satisfied.

On a holiday lunchtime, we had to wait for 1 hour. We got a ticket and passed the time. It's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but the sushi doesn't go around, you order using a touch panel. The sushi pieces are large and the rice is small, which is nice. I was happy to be able to choose from a variety of toppings. The shrimp, crab, salmon, squid, sea urchin, tuna, chawanmushi, shrimp soup, salmon and sea urchin were particularly good. They were delicious!

Recommended by a car rental shop, we started our trip in Hokkaido by going to a sushi restaurant. We decided to try a popular conveyor belt sushi place for lunch, but had to wait for about an hour and fifteen minutes. Triton offers reasonably priced, large and fresh sashimi. The scallops were exceptionally large and tender, and very delicious! In Tokyo, we would never be able to find such quality at this price, so we were extremely satisfied.

During my trip to Hokkaido, I visited this restaurant known for its conveyor belt sushi. On a weekday night, there was about a one-hour wait. The staff were busy but provided excellent hospitality. I was able to try rare and delicious sushi toppings that I don't usually get to eat. As rumored, each topping was generously sized and satisfying. However, it was disappointing that they only had beer for drinks and that there were fewer topping options in the evening.

I arrived around 7:00 PM and entered the restaurant at 8:00 PM. The sushi pieces were generally large and satisfying to eat, but I felt that there were slightly fewer varieties of sushi. However, I was able to try unusual fish like greenling and herring, so I think it's worth a visit if you're in Hokkaido.

Continuing with the indulgent meal, Triton is truly wonderful! Today's sushi special includes Aomori-sourced fresh salmon, freshly fried local spring asparagus tempura sushi, Yariika Matsushima konbu sushi, Hokkaido wild flounder konbu sushi, crab stick tempura with salt, fried eggplant with miso, Hokkaido scallop, seared engawa, unique cheese rolled sushi invented by female staff at Asahi Jin store, seafood bomb battleship sushi, natural roe, and a battle between shrimp and crab. The standout for me was the cheese rolled sushi with its perfect balance of flavors. This taste can only be experienced here, so be sure to try it out!

Triton, a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Hokkaido. Despite the distance that can only be reached by car, we finally got seated after a 2-hour wait as predicted by the restaurant's estimated waiting time. It might be better to aim for opening time or evening to avoid the long wait. Everything was delicious, but the fatty tuna belly was particularly tasty, melting in the mouth. The herring, which you don't often see in Tokyo, was also delicious. The fish pieces were all large and good. I don't want to wait in line again, but I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

On the way from Asahikawa Airport to Asahiyama Zoo, we stopped by Triton for lunch. Triton seems to be the most recommended restaurant by locals. Even on a weekday, there was a small line forming before the 11 am opening. I chose my dishes using the touch panel, including Sakuramasu, a trio of Hokkai sashimi, and tsubugai, based on the recommended items of the day. The food was quite delicious, living up to its reputation. I remember being advised not to eat raw Sakuramasu in the past due to freezing to kill parasites, but this sushi version was surprisingly good. Since I didn't have any alcohol, I finished my lunch in about 15 minutes. For just under 2,000 yen, it was a decent meal.

Rotating Sushi Triton "Chutoro, Yellowtail, Conger eel, Engawa, Salmon" ○ Triton's Asahikawa branch, representing Hokkaido rotating sushi!! ○ The chefs make each piece right in front of you, so the taste is on a different level from traditional rotating sushi!! ○ The Chutoro is so tender and delicious, it's not your typical rotating sushi quality!! ○ The Yellowtail is thick, and even the Conger eel, which can be lacking in flavor at rotating sushi places, has a firm texture and is incredibly tasty!! If you want to enjoy Hokkaido's representative rotating sushi, be sure to visit!! #HokkaidoGourmet #HokkaidoEateries #AsahikawaEateries #AsahikawaGourmet #SushiEateries #Sushi #RotatingSushiTriton #96Eateries #April23rd

We visited around 7 pm on Sunday with 2 people. There was about a 2-hour wait, but it wasn't too bad if you take a number and move your car. The specialty is the fresh salmon, which we always eat the most and it's always delicious. However, they often run out of ingredients, so it might be safer to visit for lunch. I plan to visit again many times.

As expected, even on weekdays during the day, the revolving sushi in Hokkaido is crowded. It was around 1 o'clock, so I had to wait for about 20 minutes. The sushi toppings were all voluminous, large, fresh, and very delicious.

First time diving into Triton. I heard it's the number one conveyor belt sushi in Hokkaido. I found out they have a branch in Asahikawa, so I stopped by on my way back from Mount Daisetsu. It was around 12:20 on Saturday and there were 25 groups ahead of us. We received a notification on LINE, so we waited in the car. Many families were there, with mostly older customers. The parking situation was chaotic, with many people trying to get inside as quickly as possible. The rumors about Asahikawa quality were true. The actual menu was different from what I saw online, but the food looked delicious, especially the shirako and tuna. It's a good option for a quick and affordable meal for two people, costing less than 10,000 yen.

I came here after a long time because I suddenly had some free time nearby. The wait was about 20 minutes. To cut to the chase, it was just okay. The premium tuna was delicious, living up to its high price. The something-mas was also quite tasty. The medium fatty tuna was passable. As for the lean tuna, the unnatural color, excessive dripping, and lack of flavor were disappointing. The mackerel was also not great. If it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant where cheap prices are the selling point, I could forgive it, but...
