I received this as a souvenir. I think it's probably the most normal type. It is a very beautiful cream color with a firm texture. The taste is rich and you can distinctly taste the egg. However, the aftertaste is refreshing and not lingering. It came with caramel sauce, but it's delicious even without it. I tried it with the sauce for a change in taste, but next time I might not even need it. It was so delicious that I want to go buy it myself next time.

I had always been curious about the "Cannele" at Abe Poultry Farm Egg Pudding that I pass by frequently. It always seemed to be sold out, but this time I had a feeling it might be available. I went to check and found that there were three types available. I bought two types, "Vanilla" and "Chocolate". The "Vanilla" had a crispy exterior and a moist and chewy interior with a hint of rum and vanilla flavor. The "Chocolate" had the same texture but with a slightly less sweet and more bitter chocolate taste. In a time where many Canneles are soft overall, I really liked the crispy texture of these ones.

That's when I stumbled upon this shop that was only open for a limited time. A pudding shop from Hokkaido!? Since I don't get the chance to go there often, I thought I had to buy some. I purchased the Pupupu Set which included the Eggu Pudding, Hokkaido Cheese Pudding, and White Coffee Pudding. I figured since I had the opportunity, I might as well enjoy a variety of flavors. The Eggu Pudding had a surprisingly intense egg flavor. The texture was so smooth that I was surprised. Each bite filled my mouth with the gentle sweetness of eggs. I realized that it's rare to find a pudding that allows you to enjoy the taste of eggs so much. The Hokkaido Cheese Pudding had the standard pudding taste but with the addition of a rich cheese flavor. It almost felt like I was eating cheesecake. Just adding cheese completely changed the way I enjoyed the pudding. The White Coffee Pudding was surprising with its white color, contrary to its name. I was worried that the flavor and aroma of coffee might be lost, but those worries disappeared as soon as I tasted it. I was shocked by how flavorful the coffee taste was. And of course, the reliable presence of the sweet egg flavor. The combination of coffee and egg was surprisingly delicious and enjoyable. It's been a while since I've had such a smooth and creamy pudding where the egg flavor shines. The deliciousness made my heart warm. It was a wonderful meal.

There were 5 types of cute round egg puddings in jars. The "Summer Strawberry" had two layers, with pudding on the bottom and strawberry on top. The strawberry was not as soft as expected, but rather firm. The pudding had a strong milk flavor, more like milk pudding. The strawberry had a refreshing sourness. Overall, it was lightly sweet and easy to eat. The size and price were both very reasonable. It seems like a good option for a gift. Thank you for the meal!

This is a gift I received. I love pudding, so I was very happy. I tried it right away. There is caramel sauce included. It's good, but I prefer it without caramel. When I put my spoon in, it feels quite firm. I prefer a more pudding-like texture. When I tasted it, it had a nice solid texture. This is the type of pudding that really fills you up. I prefer a more drinkable texture. I decided to add a little caramel sauce since I had it. Oh, it's delicious. Not too bitter. It turned into a fine taste. The shop's signature items seem to be the following three: Eggu Pudding (¥380), White Coffee (¥460), and Hokkaido Cheese (¥420?). They also offer limited-time items like Pumpkin, Chocolate, Matcha Azuki, Mitarashi Soy Sauce, and Haskap. This time, I purchased the Haskap (¥460) and White Coffee (¥460). The Haskap pudding had a Haskap sauce mixed with the classic Eggu Pudding at the bottom, giving it a rich and creamy texture. The pudding was firm and had a generous amount of egg, which I personally enjoy. The Haskap sauce was tangy and had a lot of acidity, so I recommend eating it together with the pudding for the best flavor. The White Coffee had a creamy flavor rather than a bitter coffee taste, likely due to the addition of egg, milk, salt, and cream. I only had a small bite, but it left a good impression. When I visit Sapporo, I usually buy bread to take home, but I might stop by a sweet shop and try something different occasionally. It was my first visit to a shop inside Sapporo Station that sells rich custard pudding. In addition to the plain egg pudding, they also had a white version, so I bought about three. On a certain weekday, I stopped by a tamagoya shop in Shitagawa-cho located on the north side of Sapporo Station East Exit. The store is located on the north side of the station, with refrigerated showcases and display shelves, working hard in a cold place with outside air coming in during the winter. On this day, I decided not to buy the main item, a pudding priced over 400 yen each from the main showcase... Oh, I spotted boiled eggs which were relatively easy to purchase! So, along with the intriguing pudding, I bought the "Egg and Cheese Pudding Hokkaido Cheese (460 yen)". Normally, I would choose a coffee flavor, but I was curious about how eggs and cheese would taste together, so I bought it. When I took a bite... Oh, it was almost like cheesecake!! The saltiness of the cheese enhanced the sweetness, and it could easily be described as "rich" in general terms. I also bought the "Shitagawa 60 Boiled Egg (165 yen)", the most affordable item available. As expected, the smoked egg was priced higher, but when I took a bite... Wow, the soft white was subtly salty, perfectly cooked with a slightly runny yolk, creating an exquisite balance. The next morning, when I had the second one, I realized how delicious it was. I thought maybe next time I'll try the smoked egg, boiled egg, or raw egg. Thank you for the meal.

When using Sapporo Station, I used to mostly use the west concourse, but recently, due to construction for the Shinkansen station, I have been using the east concourse more when taking the bus from the north exit. Passing by the shop occasionally, I became curious about their products. This time, I purchased the basic egg pudding (410 yen) and boiled eggs (2 for 162 yen). The pudding comes in a jar with caramel sauce in a separate small packet. Other pudding flavors include "chocolate," "Hokkaido cheese," and "white coffee," each priced at 420 yen + tax, a bit more expensive than the basic "egg pudding." The taste is good, but the price is a bit high, so I don't think I would buy it for myself again. However, I would be happy to receive it as a gift, so it could be a nice little souvenir. 2021/2JR Sapporo Station, on the east side of the concourse, near the north exit, there is a shop called Abe Poultry Farm, established in Showa 39. They sell pudding made with Shitagawa Rokusen Enzyme Eggs. Before heading home, I bought some as souvenirs. They offer 4 types of pudding starting from 380 yen, which is a bit pricey for personal consumption but a good price for gifts. The "Egg Pudding" for 380 yen has a gentle taste of pure eggs, and in my opinion, the caramel sauce that comes with it is unnecessary because it's delicious on its own. The "Shitagawa Rokusen Smoked Egg" for 160 yen has a nice smoky aroma, but the smoky flavor is mild. The half-cooked yolk is a light yellow color. Thank you for the meal.

Just like people, appearances can be deceiving (laughs). The texture is smooth, somewhere between soft and firm. The sweetness is subtle, emphasizing the taste of the eggs. The caramel is not at the bottom of the pudding, but comes separately as a topping. The perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness enhances the flavor of the pudding. Puddings definitely need caramel. The glass jar with a lid is cute, but not something you can easily reuse. It would be nice if they gave you 5 or 10 yen for returning it clean, like with cola bottles. I used to use this to earn some extra pocket money when I was a student... I wonder if people still do that nowadays? The pudding was delicious and my family also enjoyed it. It's a pudding made by a reputable chicken farm. Thank you for the meal.

I bought two for my colleagues at work and myself. Then I saw the "Pumpkin Pudding" priced at 420 yen, which also looked delicious, so I bought one.
