Located north of the central ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station, this hotel faces the east side of Shin-Midosuji Avenue. It is a new concept from the Nagoya-based Washington Hotel Plaza, focusing on "room and breakfast only" since 2010. Known for its low-cost operation that competes with emerging hotel chains, the brand name is derived from its concept (Room & Breakfast). This hotel opened in 2017 and offers a complimentary breakfast service with freshly baked bread, warm soup, and drinks available in a self-service style. The bread selection varies daily, and the boiled eggs included are a nice touch.

Today, I stayed at a hotel near Shin-Osaka Station. The next morning, I had breakfast. Breakfast starts at 6:30 am. I arrived at the dining area right at 6:30 am. There were only 2-3 other guests already there. They served freshly baked bread, with a variety of options. The bread was warm and delicious. They also had boiled eggs, soup, juice, and coffee. It was a simple but satisfying meal, especially with the warm bread. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and took my time eating. After breakfast, you can take your coffee back to your room, which is a nice touch. Even though I don't smoke, I can see how convenient it is for smokers to enjoy their coffee and a cigarette in their room. Now, it's time for work. Let's do our best today! I don't usually write about hotels, but this one was good. The breakfast service at "R&B Hotel Shin-Osaka Kitaguchi" within walking distance from Shin-Osaka Station is great. I'm happy that I can have coffee in the morning, and there are various types of bread to choose from, which is nice. The fact that you can choose your own bread is good. There are also boiled eggs available, which fills you up. Most importantly, you can bring coffee to your room. The breakfast area in the hotel is mostly non-smoking. So, being able to bring coffee back to the room and enjoy it while smoking is great. It may seem like a small thing, but it makes me very happy.

The next morning I had work in Osaka at 8am. I found this hotel offering a room with breakfast included in the 6 o'clock hour to keep costs down, as I needed to leave at 7am from Shin-Osaka. The price for one night with breakfast included was 5900 yen. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, which was perfect for my schedule. The hotel is located near Osaka Ekimae Hospital, which may explain why there are no restaurants due to regulations. However, there are convenience stores like Family Mart and Seven Eleven nearby. The hotel is part of the Washington Hotel Group and offers a simple style. The room is basic but has free WiFi. The bed is comfortable, but may not be suitable for those with large luggage. The breakfast is also simple, with a selection of drinks, soups, and pastries including croissants and rolls. The soup was warm and the bread was freshly baked, although the selection may run out quickly. Overall, it was a decent breakfast.

I stayed at Hotel R&B near Shin-Osaka Station and had breakfast there. Breakfast starts at 7 am and includes four types of bread (roll bread, croissant, mentaiko mayo potato, apple crown), soup, juice, and coffee. Sometimes freshly baked bread is served. The food was not bad. There were options like tomato soup and corn potage. I chose the corn potage soup and it was delicious!

Thanks to this, the Monday night accommodation fee of 5500 yen is now 4500 yen. - The rooms are very simple, small but functional. The newly built hotel is clean. - The beds have very comfortable cushions, which is important. - The bathroom is also simple, with no hot water temperature adjustment function. - If you bring your own toothbrush and razor, they will stamp your card and when you collect 5 stamps, you get a 500 yen QUO card. - Breakfast is included, with 4 types of freshly baked bread, hot soup, boiled eggs, and vegetable juice. - This is sufficient. Vegetable juice is important as a substitute for salad. - However, the coffee is not very good.
