On November 2018, I went to Roppongi. For the first round, we enjoyed a wine tasting with delicious meat provided by the organizer. The other participants were all good-looking. Then, we spontaneously moved to a cozy place called "Atashinchi" for some sparkling wine and highballs, along with popcorn as a snack. Karaoke started, and the handsome singers belted out some Mr. Children songs, making the night even more fun. We had such a great time that we lost track of time. I would love to visit this cozy and welcoming place again.

Recently, I have been spending more time in Roppongi than in Funabashi. When I came out of Midtown and had 30 minutes before a meeting, I wanted to grab lunch. I stumbled upon a suspicious restaurant with a sign that said "Come to Atashin'chi - Roast Beef". Without that sign, it would have been completely mysterious. I mustered up the courage to go in, paid 1280 yen for extra meat, and sat at the counter. The roast beef bowl with extra meat arrived. The roast beef bowl was topped with a perfectly cooked egg. The meat was thinly sliced, juicy, and tender, with a slightly thick sauce. It was a satisfying meal, especially for those who enjoy strong flavors. I didn't know there was a hidden gem like this in the backstreets of Roppongi. When in need of a lunch spot, I highly recommend the roast beef bowl. Thank you for the meal.

I had never been inside, but I often passed by "Atashin'chi" in Roppongi and heard the night karaoke music, so I assumed it was a karaoke bar. However, one day when I passed by during the day, I saw that it had changed to serving roast beef bowls, with a sign saying "Demon Beef." It seems like they only serve during the day. I mustered up the courage to go inside. The atmosphere inside was quite lively. They offered beef bowls in various sizes, including a "Demon Size." The "Roast Beef Curry" that was advertised outside was nowhere to be seen. I tried the Pakuchi Beef Bowl. The roast beef was delicious, but the amount was a bit small for the medium size. The amount of cilantro on top was just right, but the yellow sauce on the side was a bit too salty, possibly due to being poured too much. Overall, it seemed like they were still getting used to things since they had just opened, so I have high hopes for them in the future. I might visit again in a while to see how they are doing!
