At the New Furano Prince Hotel, there are several lodges called "Ningle Terrace" which have been turned into shops set in a forest. It's one of the services provided by the hotel, and it's like those shopping facilities you might find overseas, but set in nature. The shops sell folk crafts like candles, wooden products, crayons, and accessories, typical souvenir items. Among them, there is a shop called "ChuChu's House" that sells a drink called ChuChu. On this day, despite it being Golden Week, it was raining and a bit chilly, so I enjoyed a warm cocoa. It was like drinking Milo. Apparently, there are two households of fairies called "Ningles" living here. We quietly searched for them with the kids while sharing the sweet cocoa.

This is a drink shop located inside the Ninguru Terrace at New Furano Prince Hotel in Furano. Ninguru Terrace is a shopping mall that houses shops selling craft goods. I visited for the night view photography at Ninguru Terrace, and decided to replenish with a warm drink. I ordered the Sincere Pumpkin Soup (560 yen) and was told it was the last cup available, which got me excited. It took some time for the drink to be served, maybe because they were reheating it in a small pot. Before the soup cooled down, I took various photos (racing against time). Finally, I took a sip. It was full of pumpkin flavor! It felt like they turned pumpkin into liquid form! Creamy and the best drink for the cold weather. It was fun to drink while swirling the stick bread that was served with it. Above all, Ninguru Terrace is amazing! When I visited during the daytime in the summer, I was already thrilled by the fairy tale-like atmosphere and unique shops, but at night, with the lights on, it was even more beautiful!

I went to "Ningle Terrace" at New Furano Prince Hotel after a long time. The snowy scenery at Ningle Terrace is quite nice. As I walked around, I saw various shops. "Oh, there's Chuchu's house!" I exclaimed as I found it. The entrance had a sign saying "From the North Country Museum." Inside, there were exhibits related to the North Country, but surprisingly, there was no cafe. It was a bit strange, right? I stepped out and saw a menu board hanging in front of the building that said, "Go straight and turn right!!" When I went around to the back, there was a counter for ordering. I wonder when it changed to this setup? It seems like there used to be seats where the North Country Museum was before, right? Of course, the location and building remain the same. Perhaps due to recent circumstances, they now sell items at the counter. I ordered the "Sincere Pumpkin Soup" (560 yen). There were benches outside, but the seats were frozen, so you couldn't sit in winter. Well, I had to stand or go back to the car. I stood and tasted it... But you know, after taking a sip of the soup, I thought, "It's very rich, with a full taste of pumpkin and delicious!!" It was also piping hot. With it being so rich and hot, I could understand why it's enjoyable to taste it outside. It came with a pretzel, and dipping it in the soup made it even more delicious! If you don't like the cold, it's best to go back to the car to enjoy it, but I think it's delicious to taste it in the atmosphere of Ningle Terrace, don't you think??

Next to Furano Prince Hotel, there is a place called Ningle Terrace with various craft shops scattered throughout the forest log houses. One of them is this café, where I enjoyed coffee and apple pie on a terrace facing the forest, perfect for forest bathing. The air was so refreshing and soothing. Regardless of the taste, I had a great time and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

The venue had ups and downs, and for some reason I ended up sweating a lot while walking around (laughs). I felt like I had walked a lot. I started craving ice cream, so I went into Chu Chu House. They had two types of soft serve, vanilla and Chu Chu flavor, which I think was almond? I felt like the original flavor was unique so I ordered that. There were a lot of seats up a little higher... I thought it might be crowded, but it was filled with girls relaxing, even though I was a bit late. The soft serve was delicious. It's like vanilla or milk flavor, but this place has a unique twist that makes it enjoyable. By the time I finished eating, the sweat had subsided. It's cool~ It might be nice to have something warm, like baked milk, if it's cold. Thank you for the meal.

5/2017 ★ Baked Milk for 520 yen at Ninguru Terrace in the rain. It's a tourist spot on a holiday, but it's empty. Well, that's understandable - who would come all the way to Furano on a rainy day, right? (^_^;) Our purpose of coming here was to see the candle shop where Yuko-san used to work and to try their baked milk. After looking around, we ordered the baked milk at the counter. The menu has a few drinks and desserts. You order and pay at the counter, and then it's self-service for pick up and cleaning. The baked milk is served cold, even though it looks warm because it's slightly burnt. The top has a soft pudding-like texture, while the bottom is a bit thicker than milk, making it more of a drink than something you can eat with a spoon. It would be easier to drink it with a straw. Overall, I'm satisfied after trying it once. Thanks for the meal! (^ω^)

I visited this place with a friend who loves the drama "Kita no Kuni Kara" so much. It was a weekend in the midst of beautiful autumn leaves, and the restaurant was almost full. My friend found an available table and we sat down. We had to order at the counter and then pick up our items ourselves. My friend recommended the famous "baked milk" (¥520) here, so I ordered that, while I chose the almond latte (¥420). The prices were a bit high, probably because it's a touristy area. When I tried the baked milk, I was surprised to find that it was cold! I had expected warm milk and was a bit disappointed. The almond latte was just average, nothing special. It seemed like a place where you mainly enjoy the atmosphere.
