太モズク
I came to Urakawa to attend the Shishamo Festival, as a visitor from Chiba Prefecture. The festival venue is 70 kilometers away from Urakawa, about 1.5 hours by car, but I decided to extend my trip to Urakawa because the hotel I wanted to stay at (Wellington Hotel) was located here. I walked too much and now my thighs hurt. ( ̄∇ ̄) Anyway, I had dinner at a nearby restaurant called "Matsuyama" and tried their Matsukawa bowl, then I went to "Tedori-san" in search of dessert. I might be scolded by the locals for having such a limited range of activities, even though there are other delicious restaurants around! When I entered the shop, I looked around at the various items. On the right side of the entrance, there were bread, baked goods, and Japanese sweets on the shelves. In the front showcase, there were perfect sweets for gifts, and in the back showcase, there were rows of cakes that I was looking for. I can't explain it well, but it looked like a department store for sweets. When I stopped in front of the cake showcase, I was torn between the omurice with firm cream, shortcake, and cream puff. I imagined how crispy the edge of the apple pie would be, and what kind of texture the apples would have. The cake with a lot of shaved chocolate looked bitter, and my mind was in a state of desire like a department store. Since this shop is far away and I only have one stomach, I seriously struggled to decide what to eat. After much thought, I chose a chestnut pie (I forgot the official name) and a beko mochi. Even with such a small order, the staff kindly packed them in a box and even provided ice packs for me to take back to the hotel. When I tried the chestnut pie at the hotel, it was delicious with the crunchy chestnuts and custard cream, and the pie crust was very fragrant. The slightly tart and thick napage was also a perfect match. I exclaimed, "I want to eat another one of these!" The beko mochi had a firm texture that didn't stick to my teeth, with the scent of bamboo leaves as an accent. It wasn't too strong in black sugar flavor, making it easy to eat. The chestnut pie (I forgot the official name) was so delicious that I would love to eat it again if I have the chance. Thank you to all the reviewers who recommended Tedori-san.
