It was a buffet style plan and it was delicious and satisfying! There were many options and the meat was the best! Sushi, tempura, pasta, pizza, etc. Even with children, they would be very happy! The pizza is also baked in a pizza oven!

I stayed overnight and had dinner at the buffet. It was nice that there was no set time for the buffet, you could come at your preferred time within the designated hours. The food was okay, maybe they were trying a little bit. There was no congestion when entering the restaurant or getting food. It was stress-free.

This is the final destination of the third day of my trip to Hokkaido. Jozankei Onsen. After watching two games at Escon Field on Sunday, June 11, 2023, I finally visited Jozankei Onsen, a place I had always wanted to visit. I decided to stay at Hotel Miliore because they offered a buffet dinner plan with a 60-minute all-you-can-drink alcohol option, which was very appealing. The buffet floor was renovated and provided a comfortable stay, with a wide variety of menu options for an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Hotel Stay Review - May 2023 It has been a tough time for the hotel industry during the pandemic, but I recently stayed at Iran Kara Hotel for the first time in 5 years. From the moment I arrived at the entrance, the staff, including the bellboy and receptionist, greeted me warmly. The hotel room was on the side facing the main road, allowing in plenty of sunlight. One of the highlights of the stay was the dining plan which included a 60-minute drink and dinner buffet, as well as a breakfast buffet. The room even had a welcome gift of "Teishanbo Manju" made by Reiko-san. The hotel had a mix of guests, including Taiwanese, Korean, and older Japanese visitors. The restaurant staff, mostly from Myanmar, provided excellent service. I enjoyed the buffet while sipping on "Lemon Sour" the whole time. Upon checkout, the cleaning staff also bid me farewell with enthusiasm. Despite facing competition from other hot spring resorts in the area, Iran Kara Hotel stood out with their exceptional service. Although I would like to stay here again, I might also consider trying a different hotel next time, perhaps "Yuraku" for a change (even though I am a loyal fan of Dormy Inn).

I stayed overnight at Milleone. Of course, I enjoyed the hot springs, but my favorite part was the buffet. For dinner, they have a live kitchen where they cook steak and pizza. There are also many other dishes to choose from. I used to go for seconds multiple times in the past, but as I get older, I can't eat as much. There are many options for breakfast as well, but my favorite is the rice balls. They have about 7 different kinds, and they make them fresh by grilling the seaweed before rolling them. It's delicious! In Milleone, they also bake the famous Jozankei manju from early in the morning. Dinner, breakfast, manju... I'm so full!

Jozankei, I've stayed at various hotels before, but this was my first time at Milione. I chose this place because the live kitchen seemed fun. The bath was spacious and relaxing. The room was a bit old but spacious and cozy. For dinner, the buffet had a live kitchen featuring "Wagyu steak" which was okay, and also a highlight was the "oven-baked pizza" which was chewy and delicious with stretchy cheese. There were many live kitchens with tempura, sashimi, and sushi that I wanted to try but I was too full to eat more, which was a shame. I was also interested in ramen and crab soup, but I was too full (laughs). It's surprising how much you can't eat. For breakfast, the live kitchen made small, freshly made rice balls that were delicious. The live kitchen's sausages, bacon, and scrambled eggs were also good. The lively buffet with live kitchens was enjoyable. I would like to come back again. Thank you for the feast.

The day before, you can enjoy a lunch buffet and hot springs for 3,000 yen, including a hot spring tax of 100 yen, by booking from the official website. Check-in around 11 am and relax in the lobby on the first floor. When you go outside, there is a foot bath with steam rising. The lunch buffet is from 11:30 am. Head to the restaurant in the hotel basement. As of 2023, several staff members are wearing masks and face shields. It's been a while since I've seen face shields. We received alcohol disinfectant and vinyl gloves and first chose our seats. It's a free seating arrangement, so you can choose your favorite spot, whether by the window or closer to the food. The food selection is not particularly outstanding, but there is a variety of dishes to enjoy. There are three types of pasta, including penne. There was also a stir-fried noodles with sauce. There are six types of bread, including waffles. The salad selection reminds me of a certain family restaurant's salad bar. In the live kitchen area, there are pork ginger sauté, chicken, Margherita, and beef mince and corn pizza. Despite being called a live kitchen, there were many times when the staff was absent even though the cooked items were left out. There are many types of jelly in the dessert section. There is also honey lemon pound cake and cream puffs. There are eight types of ice cream, but strangely, there is no standard chocolate flavor. Personally, I found the following items delicious: onion rings, beef mince and corn pizza, croissant, table rolls, and seafood soup. The banquet hall can also be used as a day trip resting place. It's a blissful feeling to be able to relax and doze off a bit to calm your overeaten stomach before taking a bath. It is a meaningful time to spend from midday until before dinner. Used in February 2023.

Continuing with the review of 2022, our annual year-end hot spring trip took us to "Milleone" in Jozankei Onsen. We had made reservations well in advance, so we were able to stay at a relatively low rate. However, the prices had surged significantly just before our stay due to an increase in foreign tourists. The room we stayed in felt a bit dated, but the wide variety of dinner and breakfast buffets, along with the hot springs, made the overall cost feel quite reasonable. There were so many dishes at both the dinner and breakfast buffets that we couldn't try them all, but the freshly grilled Wagyu steak and Italian dishes (pizza, pasta) at dinner were delicious, and the made-to-order rice balls at breakfast were tasty as well. The hotel seemed to be fully booked, so it was quite crowded with many guests, but it is a recommended hotel for those looking to enjoy hot springs and buffets at a reasonable price.

I wonder how many years it has been? I stayed overnight after a long time. The last time I stayed, the impression was good, right? The hot spring had many baths and there was no crowding. The room was spacious even though it was a cheap plan. Dinner was a buffet at the restaurant on the B1 floor. It was a Friday, but it was a bit crowded, yet we were seated without waiting. The highlights were the steak, pizza, sushi, and tempura. They were all delicious. Especially the pizza dough was fluffy. The steak was tender. I enjoyed the tempura with grated radish in the broth. It was really good. It was fun to try various dishes lined up. In the midst of fierce competition in the hotel industry, they are doing their best. There were many children and they were cute. Breakfast was also served in the same venue. It was spacious when you looked around. This helps alleviate crowding. The best dish was the salmon. I liked it so much that just white rice and salmon would have been enough. The homemade rice balls were fun to make and delicious. The rolled omelette was fluffy and tasty. There were plenty of options available. There was soba, but it would have been even better if there was a choice of warm or cold dipping sauce. Overall, I was satisfied.

Last night's event took place in the same B1 venue. In the morning, it started at 7 o'clock. When I went downstairs around 7 o'clock, I noticed that there were more people lining up compared to last night. Everyone seems to be early risers. I joined the line and around 7 o'clock, the service started. There were almost as many food stations as there were for dinner, which was unusual. With so many options, it seemed impossible to try everything. So, I decided to prioritize my favorites and started to fill up my tray. Although it would have been nice to have salmon roe, it was not available. So, I decided to make a tarako rice bowl instead. I also added some pickled herring on the side. It turned out quite well. The bowl size was mini, not the regular size. I calmly ate what I had served, even though I realized I was eating too much. Despite already feeling full, I couldn't resist the ice cream that was the same as last night. I ended up eating it, even though it wasn't anything fancy. I regretted indulging so much in food early in the morning, as if I had come to strain my digestive system rather than to relax in a hot spring resort. I headed home early, reflecting on my choices.

It has been a while since I visited Jozankei, and with the national travel support and Sapporo discount, I was able to stay at a good deal, paying only around ¥2500 for the accommodation after using the coupons. In recent years, I have only passed through the hot spring town on the national road without stopping for a soak. Today, staying here again, I can feel that despite the gradual resolution of the pandemic, there is still a long way to go. As for the dinner buffet, I made a reservation for 6:00 pm, but there was a long wait to enter the venue, with each group being guided in one by one, taking too much time. Even arriving before 6:00 pm, it took over 15 minutes to be seated. The number of guests seemed good, but the quality and variety of the food seemed to have declined compared to my previous visit. Among what I had today, the steak was the best, followed by the keema curry, while the sushi and sashimi were below average. It's disappointing that there was nothing that stood out as particularly delicious. The atmosphere in the venue also felt a bit subdued. Nevertheless, I ate a lot.

Hello everyone! The autumn leaves are early, but let's have a girls' night out. We'll have a casual mini trip with buffet breakfast and dinner at "Jozankei Manseikaku Hotel Milione" in Sapporo. Let's relax in the sauna and hot springs, and then it's time for the buffet! The quality seems to have dropped a bit, probably due to the impact of the pandemic. But the pizza and steak should still be good! I'll focus on enjoying those. I'll have the all-you-can-drink beer for 2,200 yen. The steak is made with good quality lean meat and the Japanese-style sauce with wasabi is my favorite. The pizza is freshly baked in a stone oven, and it's really good for a buffet at a budget hotel. The dough is chewy and goes well with wine. The sushi with sea bream and scallops is also quite good. Oh, the dessert with mini sweet potatoes and butter is delicious. Now onto breakfast. The lineup is a bit disappointing. No salmon roe or trout roe for breakfast! And only salmon for grilled fish. People from outside the region might be quite disappointed. Especially with the national travel support starting, I hope they step up their game. Thanks for the meal! *The photos are from the beer onwards; the breakfast is at the end.

Hotel Milione Sapporo had two people for a specific purpose. This time, it seems they did not book accommodation in the city, but in Jozankei. They probably didn't want to go bar hopping, so they opted for a package with two meals included. The check-in at 4:30 in the evening was impressive as the lobby had a high-class ambiance. The back of the front desk looked like an aquarium, and it seemed like a school trip from Hakodate was also staying there. While various parts of the hotel seemed new, the rooms showed signs of aging, especially the bathroom facilities. Although not dirty, the wear and tear was noticeable. The rooms on the opposite side of the same floor seemed larger and newer. The room was described as spacious, but it is quite standard for a hot spring hotel. Of course, since there was a large communal bath, they did not use the bath in the room. The communal bath was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a large open-air bath. The hot spring water was compared to green tea if river water was used, but it was more like leftover tea, which was still acceptable. For dinner, they had a buffet. The reviewer usually dislikes hot spring hotels because of the buffet, but recently had some good experiences at two places, so they were trying to reconsider their opinion. However, after this experience at Hotel Milione, they went back to disliking hot spring hotels. The food was terrible, with nothing appealing on the plates, and the staff's service was poor. Despite opting for a drink-all-you-can option, the reviewer had to pour their own beer as there was no service. The bartender was skilled at pouring beer for other customers but refused to serve the reviewer. The reviewer was disappointed as the staff at the venue, except for the bartender, were of good quality. If they had not included dinner, the overall review would not have been so negative.

Hotel spa day. I decided to visit during a reasonable time ~^ - ^ Day bathing is from 12pm to 8pm, normally 1500 yen, but there are discounts for early birds from 7am to 9am for 1000 yen, early afternoon from 12pm to 2pm for 900 yen, and late night from 5pm onwards for 700 yen. It's a great deal until 8pm. The hotel facilities are top-notch with elegant indoor baths, outdoor baths, and saunas. They offer a variety of shampoo and conditioner brands that you can take into the bath with you in cups. After my spa day, I enjoyed a reasonably priced seafood dinner. I stayed at this hotel a long time ago, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The moonlit night on my way back was beautiful. It was a delightful spa day (╹◡╹)

During the summer vacation period, the restaurant was very crowded, but we were able to eat without waiting too long. The menu had a lot of standard options, and they were delicious! The steak, which seemed to be a popular choice, was just okay, but the ramen, sushi, sashimi, and tempura were delicious. Especially the curry was incredibly tasty! There were also a variety of dessert and fruit options, including oranges, lychees, pink grapefruits, melons, watermelons, pineapples, and plums, all of which were excellent! The fruits were so delicious that we didn't even get to the desserts.

I stayed overnight at the Hotel Milleione for the first time (^O^). It's quite a nice hotel. The souvenir corner was well-stocked. I was able to stay at a great deal using the Sapporo and Hokkaido resident discounts. The sauna at Milleione was really good (I'm starting to become a sauna girl). They properly pour water on the stones, and there are two types of cold baths, one cold and one lukewarm, which was very much appreciated. They also had a shampoo bar where you could choose your shampoo! For breakfast and dinner, they had a buffet with live sushi, tempura, steak, and pizza! The pizza was baked in an oven and of a pretty high quality, and the tempura was freshly fried and delicious. They used Hokkaido vegetables in healthy Japanese dishes, so the buffet had a strong emphasis on healthy options, which seemed to cater to the age group of the guests. There were also some Western dishes available. The French toast for breakfast was delicious. There is a bakery on the first floor, so you can enjoy bread from a proper bakery. I thought it was rare and interesting that they made onigiri on the spot. They didn't put much effort into desserts, but overall, it was a delicious buffet! Thank you for the meal!

I heard that self-flowery is now possible at Noboribetsu Manseikaku, so I stayed at Jozankei Milione. The buffet at Manseikaku group is always well thought out and satisfying. I eat too much for both dinner and breakfast. The pizza here is especially delicious. #HotSpringActivities #Sauna #SaunaLover #Jozankei

Stayed at Million for one night. Had dinner and breakfast buffet. It cost around 32,000 yen for two people, which is reasonable. The hotel was very crowded, even with designated meal times there was a 15-minute wait. They seem to be limiting entry for social distancing. If you have plans, it's better to line up early for both meals! The food was all delicious and enjoyable. Especially the pizza, keema curry, and aged meat were amazing! The pizza was soft and fluffy, worth paying 1,000 yen just for that. The curry could easily be served in a specialty restaurant! Surprisingly, the ramen was also delicious. The noodles were Sapporo-style curly noodles, not soft noodles. It was a good choice to try! Breakfast was simple with no sashimi. There were some items that overlapped with dinner. Overall, it was satisfying!

I stayed at Jozankei Tensui Wanseikaku Hotel MIRIOONE by myself. I checked in around 3 pm and had a drink in my room before heading to the hot spring before dinner. After soaking in the hot spring, I went to the buffet venue around 6 pm where I ordered a 90-minute premium all-you-can-drink option. The beer options were all Sapporo Classic, but I started with Ebisu. I enjoyed various dishes like shrimp tempura, pork with sansho pepper, spring cabbage okonomiyaki, sashimi, beef tendon tomato stew, and more. I alternated between Sapporo Classic, Ebisu, and Sorachi ale for the 90 minutes. I also had meat dishes, seafood omelette rice, ramen, chawanmushi, miso soup, steak, and pizza. I finished with tonkotsu shoyu ramen. The next morning, I woke up around 6 am, went to the hot spring, and then had breakfast at the buffet venue around 7 am. I had dishes like Neapolitan pasta, rolled omelette, cod roe, mountain vegetable rice, scrambled eggs, natto, bacon, and more. After breakfast, I went back to my room for a nap before checking out. Once again, I had a great time enjoying the hot spring and buffet at MIRIOONE for this 1 night, 2 days stay!

Category: Favorite Izakaya (Hokkaido and Tohoku) Today's breakfast was enjoyed at the Teshikaga Onsen "Manseikaku Hotel Million" in Jozankei. It was a buffet-style breakfast. We sanitized our hands, put on disposable vinyl gloves, and started picking our food. I chose kinpira gobou, simmered dish, grilled fish, croquette, potato, and tamagoyaki from the wide variety of side dishes. I also had natto, shiokara, sujiko, seaweed, and onsen tamago with miso soup. It was a delicious breakfast, especially the curry. The onsen was comfortable with few people. I noticed that everyone was drawing on their backs and arms in the bath, a sign of their love for onsen. However, some children seemed scared. I enjoyed the silence of the outdoor bath. Thank you very much for your hospitality! "Manseikaku Hotel Million" Jozankei, Minami-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, 3 Higashi, Jozankei Onsen
