After browsing through the glittery interior, I decided to get some cream puffs to go. I got a regular one and a chocolate one. They weren't overly sweet, so everyone should be able to enjoy them without any worries.

Afternoon Tea Queen Set ▪️ Hexenhaus (Gingerbread House) ▪️ Frais ▪️ Tebelle ▪️ Madeleine ▪️ Chocolate Mousse ▪️ Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Sandwich ▪️ Curry-flavored Gratin ▪️ Chou Farci ▪️ Beef Red Wine Stew ▪️ Pasta (Mussel Tomato Sauce) ▪️ Dessert (Santoneige) A Christmas-themed afternoon tea set with a cute gingerbread house. The gingerbread house was decorated with macarons and cookies, making it very adorable and captivating. The savory items, pasta, and dessert were all generous in portion. The set included a 3-tier plate, pasta, dessert, and two types of drinks served in a pot, all for the reasonable price of ¥3800! Each sweet and savory item was delicious, and the overall experience was enjoyable and great value for money. The restaurant, which opened in April this year, is located in a renovated 80-year-old traditional Japanese house, adding to its charming atmosphere.

I visited for afternoon tea at 2 pm on a regular day. The restaurant is a two-story building, and I went up the stairs to the second floor seating area. The interior was charming and the food was luxurious, especially compared to other afternoon teas. They offered a variety of dishes such as gratin, soup, and hot sandwiches. The desserts like macarons and chocolates were delicious as well.

I happened to come across this place when I searched on my smartphone, and it looked cute, so I decided to visit. It's a renovated old house that is 80 years old, with a calm and cute atmosphere that is very cozy. Since I wasn't very hungry, I decided to skip the Queen course and Princess course, and instead ordered the Petit Four Tea Set. The cakes were explained to us, which made them even more appealing. Overall, the cakes were not too sweet, and I particularly enjoyed the Mont Blanc Tart with chestnut confiture inside. It was really delicious and elegant, reminding me of autumn. The Milk Crepe, which I usually don't like, had a gentle taste that I enjoyed. The Sacher Torte and Fig Terrine were also delicious, with a mature flavor that was enhanced by the alcohol content. My partner finished all four cakes, while I enjoyed them with Earl Grey tea. I definitely want to try the Queen course next time. I heard that the place opened in April, and while there are still some areas for improvement, I want to support them and see them succeed. Another favorite spot added to my list!

Recently opened in Kubocho, this shop is known for its delicious brunch. Although I couldn't try it this time due to timing, I definitely want to go back for a second chance. The highlight this time is the "Gamojan," a cream puff inspired by Parisian style. The black appearance comes from chocolate chips mixed into the dough, but surprisingly it's not too sweet. It's a unique and addictive taste! Next time, I'll definitely try their brunch too!

Opened in the spring of 2021, salondethe Teashot is a newly opened afternoon tea specialty shop in Kabuto 4-chome. Reservations are required, but they accept solo customers, which is very convenient for afternoon tea. The shop is located in a renovated old folk house in a back alley of Kabuto 4-chome, with English-style wallpaper and furniture that exudes a sense of elegance. The shop has a lovely layout that makes good use of the traditional Japanese house's features such as the small garden and sliding doors. The afternoon tea starts with each dish being set up on a wagon. The Princess Set costs 3,000 yen and includes 2 desserts and 1 savory dish, along with 2 pots of tea. There is also the Queen Set for 3,800 yen, which includes pasta and dessert. Tea is served in 2 pots, enough for 2 cups each. This menu is available until June 30th. The savory dishes on the bottom tier were all delicious, especially the calzone. The crust was crispy and chewy, very tasty. The sweets were mainly petit gateaux, using seasonal fruits that were all delicious. However, there wasn't a standout main attraction. For the second pot of tea, I chose coffee, which had a lovely aroma and was very relaxing. It was served in a French press. The plates, cups, and cutlery were all cute and matched the atmosphere, so the mismatched items didn't stand out. This kind of setup is also nice! As a COVID-19 precaution, the seating is slightly narrow depending on the seat, with partitions in place for the narrow seats. They also provide mask cases. Given the afternoon tea setting, it's easy to get carried away with chatting without masks. This is more of an issue on the customer's side. The shop is making every effort, so customers should also be mindful. Thank you for the delicious meal!

In April 2021, a specialty afternoon tea shop called Salon du the Tea Shot opened in the Kamishinjo area. It is located just a short walk from Osaka Metro Kamishinjo Station. The cafe is housed in a renovated 80-year-old residence, creating a charming atmosphere. The interior is cozy and features traditional architectural elements like old sliding doors and beams, as well as tastefully displayed antiques. The menu includes a variety of sweets like macarons, truffles, madeleines, New York cheesecake, chocolate brownies, scones, as well as savory items like sandwiches, quiche, seafood marinated dish, and beef terrine. They also offer pasta dishes, including mentaiko pasta, and desserts like strawberry pie with custard cream. The tea-infused foods are carefully prepared and pair well with the selection of teas available. The set meals come with pasta and are quite filling. The menu may change every two weeks, so there's always something new to look forward to. The friendly hostess provides a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy tea and treats. Opening hours are from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, with Queen Set priced at ¥3,800 (including pasta) and Princess Set at ¥3,000 (both prices include tax). The salon is closed on Wednesdays.

I was looking forward to it, but I ordered the Queen Set for 3,800 yen. The explanation was insufficient and there was no consideration from the staff. It was very disappointing. There was no explanation about the tea details or the free drink system. Also, there was water pooled in the teacup and the corners of the sandwich bread were dry. I felt there were areas that needed improvement. It seemed like there was a lack of hospitality and quality for the price. Couldn't they have said something like "This is the end of the meal" or "Would you like a refill of tea"? It turned out to be a very expensive lunch.

I am grateful for being able to enjoy afternoon tea at Gamoyon. It seems that now you have to make a reservation to easily use it, so I used Retty to make a reservation.
