I tried the cheesecake from Shiseido Parlour and was very surprised. It tasted just like the cheesecake you would buy from a bakery or eat at a cafe. The cheesecake from Parlour looks like it's meant for souvenirs, but the rich and sweet taste is excellent.

I went to Shiseido Parlour in February 2017 (March 20, 2017) to buy a new item that I had been checking out before its release. It was a limited edition item released on February 15th: "Spring Cheesecake (Sakura Flavor)" 3 pieces for 850 yen (excluding tax), with 100kcal per piece. The description of the product is that it is a rich Danish cream cheese with sakura flower paste, wrapped in a sakura-scented biscuit made from Hokkaido wheat, and baked. It is a cheesecake that announces the arrival of spring with each bite. It has a noticeable sakura fragrance, and the sweetness is quite restrained, making it rich and suitable for adults. The texture of the biscuit is moist, and the cheese flavor is strong. There is also another cheesecake available: "Cheesecake" 3 pieces for 850 yen (excluding tax), with 102kcal per piece. This cheesecake was born in Ginza and raised in Ginza. It is made with a biscuit dough using Hokkaido wheat flour, wrapped in Danish cream cheese and baked. This is a gift I received. These days, it seems like anything goes instead of just chocolate. But I'm not complaining - it's so convenient! Here we have a cheesecake from Shiseido Parlour, a famous establishment in Ginza. Each piece is individually wrapped. I don't just go to Hankyu Department Store for Valentine's Day venues! I also do proper research at Umeda Daimaru and Hanshin Department Store. The selection is not as good as Hankyu's, but the crowds are a bit more manageable, which is a relief. Hanshin also has eat-in events, of course! Among them, I chose Shiseido Parlour's Ginza Soft Custard Cup, which comes in a really cute cup! It's made of plastic, but still cute! The lineup includes Soft Custard for 470 yen, Chocolate Sundae for 600 yen, Strawberry Sundae for 600 yen, and Jamaican-style Sundae for 600 yen. I was curious about the toppings, but I decided to go with the simple Soft Custard. They also sell just the cup, of course! That's what I was aiming for. It's a small space, but there are benches to sit on. The soft custard was very smooth and firm, with a taste like it had plenty of eggs. It was light, so I think I should have gone for the Sundae! Of course, after finishing, I washed the cup and took it home. It's handy for storing small items! Ah, the Valentine's Day season is so enjoyable. It's sad that it's almost over... Last year, I couldn't buy it, so this year I was determined to get it! But it wasn't crowded at all, so I was a bit disappointed (laughs). Anyway, I managed to get the lucky bag! The contents were 4 cheesecakes, 15 pieces of Chocolat Viennese (Noir, Fraise), 14 pieces of La Ganache (Noir, Blanc), 2 cakes, 1 custard pudding, and 22 pieces of Sablé (Cacao, Noix de Coco). I was happy to see the cheesecakes included! The cheesecakes here have a mild sweetness and are delicious!

It cost 1188 yen for 14 pieces, making it a light and affordable souvenir option.

In March 2016, I purchased a cheese cake called "Spring Cheese Cake Sakura Flavor" (3 pieces for ¥918). This cheese cake is made by wrapping a rich Danish cream cheese with cherry blossom-flavored biscuit made from Hokkaido wheat. Each bite of this cheese cake brings the arrival of spring. Each piece is 100kcal. The biscuit wrapping the cream cheese has a moist and crumbly texture, similar to a soft buttery cookie. (*'▽'*) It's more like a "rich cheese dessert" than a "sweet cheesecake," with the focus on the intense cheese flavor. Even men who don't like sweet things will definitely love this, as the cheese flavor is rich rather than sugary, making it clear why it pairs well with alcohol! It would go well with wine, but surprisingly, it also paired well with the One Cup Ozeki (lol). Well, it's definitely not a match for sweet liqueurs like Kahlua Milk, but it goes perfectly with dry sake! Sweet and sour memories~ As summer began, I was wandering around the department store looking for a small gift for my friend when I stumbled upon my favorite Shiseido Parlour. And to my delight, I found their limited edition Lemon Cheesecake instead of the usual cube-shaped cheesecake. I immediately bought it for my friend and also got one for my family. The packaging was adorable and it was well-received as a gift. When I got home, I eagerly tried it and it was delicious! The refreshing sweetness was addicting. It was the best taste ever!

I received a gift from my relatives. I was quite excited because I had been interested in Shiseido Parlour for a while. Inside, there were pudding, cookies, and crunchy chocolate. There were two types of crunchy chocolate and four types of cookies, and they were all delicious. The pudding had a handmade feel to it, making me feel nostalgic. It was delicious. In Kansai, there is only one store of Shiseido Parlour inside Hankyu Department Store. When I return home from Yokohama, I often buy Shiseido Parlour sweets as souvenirs. Since there is only one Shiseido Parlour store in Kansai, it is highly valued as a souvenir. However, it is important to note that it is basically just a sweets store and does not have a cafe space. (The photo is of the coffee and camellia cookies served at Shiseido's shareholder meeting I attended this year) If you go expecting a cafe space, you might be a little disappointed.

I occasionally receive Flower Camellia Biscuits in a white can and Cheesecake M from relatives living in Kansai. The biscuits are crispy and have a good buttery flavor, giving a nostalgic cookie taste. Each biscuit has a cute flower camellia mark on it, and the can itself is lovely. The cheesecake is a moist and rich petit four with a strong cheese taste and aroma. It has a good depth of flavor, just the right amount of sweetness, and is delicious. Each piece is individually wrapped, which adds to the satisfaction of enjoying it. I particularly like the cheesecake, so I would like to order it online for delivery.

Shiseido Parlour is famous for its cheesecake. I became a fan of this shop since I bought their cheesecake as a souvenir during my trip to Tokyo a while ago. The cheesecake is delicious, and the blue paper bag is cute and stylish! I keep the paper bag carefully and use it when giving gifts to friends. This time, I bought chocolates instead of cheesecake to give as a gift to my friend who lives in Umeda. Some people don't like cheesecake, so I played it safe with chocolates this time. I bought a 12-piece box of chocolates for 1,080 yen. I hope they like it.

Both are jet black but the ichigo flavor is the best. I wouldn't buy it myself, but receiving it as a gift is delightful.
