It's been a while since I've had pudding. The Double Caramel has caramel jelly made with Japanese sugar on top of the classic custard pudding. I didn't realize custard pudding could be this sweet. The Matcha Pudding is also very sweet. After getting used to less sweetness in desserts lately, I prefer them to be a bit less sweet.

This is a limited edition item available at Hankyu Department Store and Takashimaya Department Store. It features caramel and custard pudding with wasanbon sugar on top, and a slightly bitter caramel on the bottom. The elegant sweetness spreads throughout the mouth, and it was delicious.

After shopping, I bought a weekend special pudding for 540 yen. It was served in an aluminum container instead of the usual dish, but the taste was still delicious! They had seasonal puddings available - pumpkin and chestnut. I was curious about both, so I bought three for 1080 yen. The pumpkin pudding had a rich pumpkin flavor, while the Mont Blanc pudding had a layer of pudding at the bottom with Mont Blanc on top. The Mont Blanc flavor was not too sweet, but still very delicious! I highly recommend the Mont Blanc pudding to anyone near AKＤ. I definitely want to try it again before the season ends.

It can get crowded at times due to the shopping mall nearby attracting many shoppers, but it's a great place for Valentine's Day gifts or presents. The staff are polite and you can take your time browsing and choosing.
