The breakfast buffet is available from 6:00 in the main banquet hall on the basement floor. It's great that it opens at 6:00 to avoid crowds. The breakfast menu includes daily changing A and B courses, and on this day it was the A course. They make omelets on the spot. The cheese sauce made with Hokkaido milk had a rich cheese flavor. There were also local gourmet dishes like Genghis Khan and soup curry with plenty of vegetables. I had seconds of the salmon and salmon roe soy sauce marinade in a bowl (^-^; The Furano milk, Furano thick yogurt cheese, and Furano wheat croissant were all delicious.

On the second day, we stayed at the New Furano Prince Hotel. We opted for the breakfast included plan which costs 2600 yen for non-staying guests. We arrived early at 7 am as we were planning to move to Asahikawa that day. There were still plenty of seats available at that time. By 8 am, the line had gotten quite long, so I recommend arriving early. Here are some of the delicious items we enjoyed:
- Freshly baked croissants, French toast, and Danish pastries, all rich in butter and fluffy.
- Live kitchen omelettes made in small pans, rolled up nicely, and served with delicious sauces like rich cheese and hash beef.
- Ikura (salmon roe) rice bowl with plenty of ikura on top, small and slightly soft grains with a sweet and salty taste.
- Salmon and ikura rice bowl with negitoro (green onion and tuna) as a luxurious side dish, rich in fat and slightly sweet.
- Homemade chili oil served with homemade tofu, packed with ingredients like dried fish, nuts, and dried shrimp, full of umami flavor.
- Furano milk, which was also available for free, non-homogenized and rich in flavor.
- There was also a one-bite cup of natto, a perfect size that I wish was sold in supermarkets.
It was a luxurious and enjoyable breakfast experience, something we don't usually have time for during our rushed travels.

It's a buffet style, but other than the roast beef and sushi, it feels pretty normal. It might not sound great to say that, but the beer was also delicious, so with two good points, I will stay there again.

I came to Furano and stayed at the New Furano Prince Hotel, which I had always wanted to stay at. I booked a plan that included breakfast only. I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet. Since it was just before the lavender season and due to the impact of the coronavirus, I went during what I thought would be the busiest time, but there were plenty of seats available. The food was divided into Western and Japanese sections. There seemed to be a limited variety of dishes in both the Western and Japanese sections. In particular, I felt that there were very few Japanese dishes. The seasoning of the salmon and ikura was strangely sweet. It was the first time I had eaten such sweet ikura. The main focus of the Western section was freshly baked bread from the hotel, which was delicious. There was an omelette station where they made fluffy omelettes that were tasty. The milk and yogurt were locally sourced, which was good, but other than that, there wasn't much emphasis on using local ingredients. Although it's important to have both Western and Japanese dishes, it seemed like they couldn't offer a wide variety of options. Overall, it was a buffet that seemed a bit indecisive. Despite that, I ate until I was full. Thank you for the meal!

After a day of skiing, I had an early dinner. It was a weekday after a holiday, so when I arrived at 5:30 pm, there were hardly any people around. The dinner buffet was great because I could leisurely choose my food without worrying about others. They had freshly fried tempura and live service where they melted raclette cheese onto baguettes. There were also Hokkaido traditional dishes like imomochi and Hokkaido vegetables in bagna càuda. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying, with attention to detail in the sauces. Even my favorite dish, shrimp chili, exceeded my expectations. It was a fantastic dinner buffet experience.

I used the breakfast buffet on a holiday morning. You can enjoy high-quality curry and more at this hotel, but the most recommended dish is the salmon roe bowl. The roe may not be large, but it is very delicious and definitely worth trying. It's great that it's all-you-can-eat at the buffet.

At night, I had dinner at the New Furano Prince Hotel. I originally planned to eat in Furano city, but many restaurants were closed, so I decided to eat at the hotel instead. I made a reservation at the main dining room on the top floor, which is a French restaurant. Since it's Furano, I thought I could enjoy delicious vegetables. There were two dinner menu options: a 7,000 yen course and a 10,000 yen course. I chose the 10,000 yen course, which included the following dishes: Amuse-bouche with Hokkaido scallops and seafood, Gazpacho with Hokkaido tomatoes and vegetables, Grilled Kinmedai with tapenade sauce and truffle, Grilled Hokkaido beef fillet with foie gras, Yogurt cheese mousse with white wine and lemon granite, Lavender tea, French bread, and walnut bread. The dishes were a bit underwhelming for the price. The scallops and salmon in the amuse-bouche were good, but the vegetables were average. The Gazpacho was okay, but the tomato flavor was too strong. The grilled Kinmedai was small and ordinary in taste. The beef fillet was quite tasty, but still just above average. The dessert looked great but was also a bit small. Overall, the dishes were average, and I wished there was more of a Furano touch in the cuisine. However, the service provided by the staff who served the dishes was excellent.

I went to a campaign and stayed at a very cheap rate. I enjoyed a traditional Japanese kaiseki dinner slowly and deliciously. The dinner venue had solid COVID-19 measures in place, and I was able to dine in a spacious area. I visited the lounge bar, but there were no other customers. I tried a cocktail called Ninguru, which is a melon liqueur. For breakfast, I had a variety of dishes at the buffet, including ikura donburi, and freshly baked croissants. I am full and satisfied.

I stayed at New Furano Prince Hotel and had breakfast. The staff were efficient and kind. The breakfast was served in a spacious room. The buffet was lively with many customers, including a surprising number of overseas tour groups. The food was simple but had a good variety, including soup curry, fresh yogurt, and milk. The French toast made on the spot was delicious. After eating, I leisurely strolled through the "Wind Garden" on the premises, enjoying the beautiful greenery and flowers. The black-faced sheep (Suffolk) munching on grass were cute. I wish I could have breakfast in a relaxed setting like this more often. Thank you for the meal.

I come to Hokkaido every year and usually stay at the Shin Furano Prince Hotel because it's cheap (lol). The price is around 12,000-13,000 yen for a Sunday night stay, including a breakfast buffet with unlimited salmon roe. This time, I also purchased a 600 yen ticket for unlimited access to the hot spring bath. We stayed for 11,600 yen for two people (including tax, through Rakuten Travel). It's like a dream compared to the bubble feeling in Sapporo. We had curry at the forest clock on the hotel grounds at night, then went back to the hotel to enjoy the hot springs twice at night and once in the morning, followed by the breakfast buffet. They serve not only salmon roe bowls but also soup curry, Furano dairy products, and locally sourced agricultural products from Furano. The green asparagus, which is in season now, is delicious. I realized later that the reason it was cheaper this time was because of the 10 am check-out time (usually it's at 12 pm). We decided to leave early and spend a leisurely time at a cafe in Furano.

[Point] - This review is about using the breakfast buffet. - When it comes to Hokkaido, seafood is a must! And when it comes to seafood, how about some salmon roe? They had a dish called "Greedy Rice Bowl" which was packed with salmon roe, and even though I'm from Hokkaido, I indulged in it so much in the morning! I ate so much that I started feeling a bit sick towards the end (laughs). - The amount spent includes the accommodation fee. [Content] You can enjoy a variety of Japanese and Western dishes like the ones in the photo! Among them, what stood out were the delicious salmon roe and cod roe... simply because of the amazing flavors of the ingredients. As for the dishes, the best one was the suidon (clear soup with rice noodles)! But be careful not to overindulge like I did! (laughs) Thank you for the meal!

The dinner and breakfast buffet here is all-you-can-eat, with the special feature being unlimited crab for dinner and unlimited salmon roe for breakfast. There is a wide variety of dishes and everything was delicious. The crab for dinner was snow crab and it was good. The soup curry and ramen were also tasty. The cherry blossom mochi was delicious as well. The salmon roe for breakfast was a bit small but still good.

I came because the weather was nice on Christmas. I had smoked salmon as a snack at the lounge bar and drank a Furano limited cocktail. The cocktail was a beautiful orange color with stylish flower decorations. The inside was a bit dim but had a great atmosphere.

The hotel's morning buffet is high quality and a must-try. The all-you-can-eat seafood bowl is exciting. The French toast, pasta, and other Western dishes are also delicious. It's easy to overeat due to the satisfying buffet.

Lunch was a buffet. There were a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes available. Grapefruit juice, pumpkin bread, crab omelette, scallops, eggplant, squid and vegetable tempura, broccoli peperoncino, sweet and sour pork, Sichuan mapo tofu, and Furano shumai were some of the options. The variety was good, but it was aimed at tourists so nothing particularly outstanding. I had already eaten a lot at the Shikisai-no-Oka flower fields with soft serve ice cream, so I didn't eat much for lunch and kept it light.

Having dinner while looking at the ski slopes was a very nice atmosphere. By the time we finished eating, fireworks were launched from the slopes, and it was wonderful.
