September 8, 2019 purchase (all information included here is from the time of the visit) (prices are all inclusive of tax) - Renovation work has begun at Seibu Takatsuki store. Although I try to visit various restaurants to post on Tabelog, there are still some restaurants within Seibu Takatsuki that I have not yet visited. Some of them have already closed or are planning to close, which is sad. By the way, a site called Kaiten-Heiten.COM reported that Aunt Stella was closing. I retweeted and posted it on my blog, but on the 28th, I saw that they were still open at a different location, making me doubt if they were really closing. So, I asked the staff at Aunt Stella, "Will you continue business even after Takatsuki Hankyu opens?" The answer was "Yes" - yay, they're not closing! I then asked, "Will the café corner reopen?" The answer was "I don't know" - unclear about the café corner, but at least they're staying open. It was a special event day with a selection of 10 cookies for 540 yen, so I bought some for a snack. The event runs until September 9th, Monday. The selection of 10 cookies included: fluffy sweet potato, strawberry ring, crispy pumpkin, caramel nuts, caramel custard, chocolate oatmeal, coffee, black tea, corn flakes, chocolate chips. The strawberry ring and caramel custard were particularly delicious. Phew, I'm glad they're not closing. Hopefully, the café corner will reopen too, I would be happy if they brought back the cookie chocolate fondue, it was so good.
