It took quite some time from purchasing to actually trying it. I had received a coffee set from here before, so I knew the taste and kept putting it off. The crunchy coconut was purchased at my wife's insistence. I personally like the texture and rich taste of the double chocolate coconut. I feel like it tastes better when eaten fresh at the store. However, in these times, takeout is the main option, right?

On November 29, 2019, I visited the newly renovated Stella Aunt's Cookie store in Takatsuki Hankyu on December 3. Unfortunately, they no longer offer the cafe menu as before. They have switched to a self-service system where you pick up the cookies yourself instead of being served face-to-face. They have also discontinued the special offer of 10 cookies for ¥540 following the elimination of face-to-face sales. However, they now have a new option where you can fill a bag with cookies for ¥880. Some skilled customers managed to get 38 cookies in one bag! You need to be careful not to drop any cookies while picking them up. I tried it myself but only managed to get 17 cookies, less than half of what the experts got. It takes courage to succeed. The Apple Custard Heart cookie has a gentle taste with custard-flavored dough surrounded by apple-flavored dough. The Christmas Candy Raspberry Yogurt cookie has a fun texture with pearl sugar and raspberry candy mixed into yogurt-flavored dough. For more types of cookies, check out their website. When you bring your cookies to the register, they will be weighed, and the total price will be displayed. September 8, 2019 purchase (all information included here is from the time of the visit) (prices are all inclusive of tax) - Renovation work has begun at Seibu Takatsuki store. Although I try to visit various restaurants to post on Tabelog, there are still some restaurants within Seibu Takatsuki that I have not yet visited. Some of them have already closed or are planning to close, which is sad. By the way, a site called Kaiten-Heiten.COM reported that Aunt Stella was closing. I retweeted and posted it on my blog, but on the 28th, I saw that they were still open at a different location, making me doubt if they were really closing. So, I asked the staff at Aunt Stella, "Will you continue business even after Takatsuki Hankyu opens?" The answer was "Yes" - yay, they're not closing! I then asked, "Will the café corner reopen?" The answer was "I don't know" - unclear about the café corner, but at least they're staying open. It was a special event day with a selection of 10 cookies for 540 yen, so I bought some for a snack. The event runs until September 9th, Monday. The selection of 10 cookies included: fluffy sweet potato, strawberry ring, crispy pumpkin, caramel nuts, caramel custard, chocolate oatmeal, coffee, black tea, corn flakes, chocolate chips. The strawberry ring and caramel custard were particularly delicious. Phew, I'm glad they're not closing. Hopefully, the café corner will reopen too, I would be happy if they brought back the cookie chocolate fondue, it was so good.

In Takatsuki, there are surprisingly few cafes. There are two Starbucks, but they are always crowded, with a 50% chance of getting in. At times like these, a hidden gem is the cafe attached to "Stella Oba-san's Cookies" in the basement of Seibu Takatsuki. The seating is limited to 3 seats, but it's often not well-known, so there are usually empty seats, making it a nice spot for a break. I stopped by for a little break this time. Having cookies and tea here is my relaxation time. Now, what should I drink today? There happened to be a collaboration menu with Karel Capek Tea Shop, so I ordered that. ☆ Hot Cookie Set (540 yen) I chose the set with Old Fashioned Sugar and tea cookies paired with the Ceylon tea "Everyday Dimbula". The cookies are served warm, which is nice♪ The cookies, with a sweet taste from the sugar, paired well with the refreshing flavor of the delicious tea. Dimbula tea is known as the "top student of black tea", with a strong, distinct aroma, a well-rounded astringency, and a bright, refreshing aftertaste. By the way, I had never heard of Karel Capek Tea Shop before, so I looked it up today(^o^) [Explanation: Karel Capek Tea Shop, established in 1987, is known for not compromising on freshness and design in their tea products. The owner and tea taster, Shiko Yamada, personally selects tea leaves from Sri Lankan tea estates without compromise. She selects vibrant, seasonal teas with clear characteristics from each region. Shiko Yamada is a tea specialist and creator, with numerous publications on tea and sweets. In Osaka, there used to be a shop at Hankyu Umeda Main Store.] This tea shop's tea with cute packaging is also recommended for gifts. I purchased Stella's cookies at Seibu Takatsuki store in October 2017. They had a variety of cookies with flavors like pumpkin and sweet potato, perfect for the autumn season. I bought them as souvenirs for my family after having a drink. I accidentally bought them on a regular day and missed out on the special "Cookie Day" discount. The cookies were sold by weight, with 5 pieces costing ¥437. The most delicious ones were the Pumpkin Jr. and Sweet Potato cookies. In other words, a total of 24 pieces of 6 types, at ¥45 per piece. Old Fashioned Sugar, Chocolate Chip, Caramel Custard, Sesame Yogurt?, Double Chocolate Nut. There were no seasonal limited edition cookies at all, and the combination was somewhat plain, but each piece was individually wrapped, and the expiration date was long when asked. It was much cheaper than buying normally, so I bought two more bags and brought them to my father's short stay place, where the staff were pleased. One day, I had a snack in the evening after having a drink. I was a bit tipsy and wandering aimlessly in the food floor of Seibu Takatsuki store. I stumbled upon a shop selling cookies by weight, and they had a special offer of "Choose any 10 cookies for ¥540 today." Normally, 100g (6-7 cookies) cost ¥486. It's said that when you walk, you'll eventually find something, and in my case, being tipsy led me to a good deal. So, I ended up buying... Matcha milk double chocolate, nutty strawberry, cornflake walnut, crispy strawberry, sugar melon, lemon pearl, yogurt orange marmalade. Initially, they were individually wrapped, but as I got busier, they started packaging them in sets of 3. Nevertheless, each flavor was distinct and delicious. It was a good find!

One day, I visited the Kansai Super located in the basement of Takatsuki Seibu to do some shopping. While I was there, I decided to have some tea at Stella's shop, which had a small seating area with three tables. I ordered the Cookie Fondue Set, which allowed me to choose five cookies to dip in melted chocolate. The cookies were delicious and light, perfect for a quick snack. The shop also offered other menu items like cookie sets, mini sweets sets, waffles, parfaits, ice cream, and drinks. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it for a casual treat.

In the middle of Seibu Takatsuki's B1F, there is Stella's Cookie stand. I had purchased cookies as gifts before, but this time I decided to try their eat-in option. The Happy Dessert (Cookie Set) costs 616 yen and includes 5 cookies of your choice and a set drink (with free refills). The staff kindly explained the cookies to me, so I was able to choose without any trouble. I chose Butter, Chocolate Chip, Cornflake, Crispy Pumpkin, and Sweet Potato cookies. For my drink, I chose black tea. The flavor of the tea leaves was rich and delicious. I opted for milk tea, and they brought the milk separately, allowing me to enjoy both straight tea and milk tea. In addition to cookies, the menu also offers waffles and parfaits, so I look forward to trying other items next time. There are only 6 seats available, but since the cafe is not well-known, it's easy to find a seat quickly. It might be a hidden gem spot worth checking out.

In the basement of Seibu department store in Takatsuki. While the cafes on other floors are usually crowded, it's relatively easy to get a seat here. I like the cornflake cookies here, so I often get them for takeout, but this time I decided to dine in. I ordered a coffee and 5 of my favorite cookies, which cost around 600 yen. I got 2 cornflake cookies and 3 recommended by the staff. The cornflake cookies are really delicious. They are sweet overall, but sometimes you just crave that taste.

I visited Stella's aunt's cafe, which serves my favorite cookies! The cafe is located in the basement of a department store and has only about 6 seats. Even though it was a weekend, we were able to easily find seats. It seems like a hidden gem. Normally, I would go for the chocolate chip cookies, but today I decided to try the cake set. There were two cake sets available, and I ordered the Berry Set. My friend ordered the Chocolate Set. After placing our orders, the kitchen quickly got to work. The kitchen is visible through a glass window, so you can see them preparing the food, which adds to the excitement. When our sets arrived, mine included plain cookies, vanilla ice cream with berry sauce, berry almond tart, mini apple pie, and tea. And all of this cost less than 1000 yen. It was quite affordable and the taste was good too. Despite not having a fancy atmosphere, the value for money and the relaxed ambiance made it a great experience. I recommend stopping by this cafe if you're looking for a place to unwind after shopping. Thank you for the meal!

"I received some cookies from a coworker saying 'Have them as a snack' (*^▽^*)♪ I often see Stella obasan's cookies in stores, but this was my first time trying them! Cookies can be dry and absorb the moisture in your mouth or moist and soft. These cookies were crunchy and crispy at first, then became moist. I really liked them (^-^)v They don't dry out your mouth, so I ended up eating quite a few. The box I received contained Old Fashioned Sugar, Milk Strawberry, Caramel Custard, Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate Nut flavors! I enjoyed each of them as a snack (*^^*) Thank you very much!
