"Gohan-doki," a restaurant located next to a pachinko parlor. You purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine and hand it to the staff to order. The restaurant is not very large, with only a counter. The Ginger Pork Set Meal (900 yen including tax) seemed a bit pricey for the portion size. I visited a different Gohan-doki location recently and this one looked more appetizing. The rice had a perfect texture and the meat was firm with just the right amount of fat. The ginger pork sauce was not too spicy, which was nice. Overall, it was a decent ginger pork dish, but the price was a bit high.

This is a dining place located within a pachinko parlor. I had the chicken salt ramen. The soup had a dark color, but when I tasted it, it had a strong salty flavor with a rich taste. The chicken chashu had a good texture, and the noodles were medium thick with a good chewiness. Thank you for the meal.

This is a restaurant run by the pachinko chain "Maruhan", which seems to be attached to all Maruhan stores nationwide. I went there to try the tsukemen supervised by a stubborn man from Saitama. I don't play pachinko though (laughs). This is part of the ramen nationwide collaboration organized by TRY (Tokyo Ramen of The Year), with a tsukemen fair (weekends only) held for 5 consecutive weeks starting from June 29th. The stubborn man is the first installment. By the way, the 2nd to 5th weeks will be TETSU, Itto, Tomita, and Michi respectively. The stubborn man was ranked 1st in tsukemen from 2001 to 2005 in TRY. When I entered the store, the staff told me, "We have the stubborn man's tsukemen here." I bought the event's "tsukemen" for 700 yen using the touch panel. The thick noodles require a bit of cooking time. The actual cooking time was about 8-9 minutes. The dipping sauce is topped with fish powder. The stubborn man is known for spreading fish powder, so it's fitting. It's a bit oily, which is typical of the stubborn man. The saltiness may be a bit mild, but it's better than being overly salty. The thick noodles have a good chewy texture. They're quite delicious. The toppings include sliced pork, bamboo shoots, fish cake, and green onions. They're all decent. Despite being an event at a pachinko parlor, it wasn't bad. The noodles were especially delicious. This was my first time at "Gohandoki", and the interior was clean and neat. It's located right next to the pachinko parlor, but I couldn't hear any noise from there. Many customers seem to order the pork cutlet bowl, probably because it's a "cutlet" bowl at a pachinko parlor (laughs). They seem to fry the cutlet after receiving the order, and it looked quite delicious.

Well, it's a shop attached to a pachinko parlor, so it's all about quick service. I took a look inside and they had a pretty good menu with curry rice, rice bowls, noodles (including kettle-cooked udon), and more. I ordered the soy sauce ramen. I should have tried the salt flavor. The ramen didn't have any standout features, with square yellow noodles that were just okay. The soup was also just okay. It's not exactly delicious, but considering the location, maybe this is what you can expect.
