A cute bakery selling baked goods recently opened in Sakai City, Sakai-ku. The store has only a kitchen, with a vending machine outside where you can buy the baked goods. This day, the kitchen shutter was closed, but I was able to buy baked goods from the vending machine. They had three types of financiers priced at 180-200 yen, brownies for 300 yen, lemon cake for 300 yen, and a gift box of four types of baked goods called "Coffret Gateau" for 1070 yen. I realized I didn't have much change with me, just a little bit. I didn't even have a 1000 yen bill. I hadn't been checking since using cash has decreased. But I've had this kind of mistake occasionally in coin parking lots. It's troublesome when they don't accept credit cards. There didn't seem to be any convenience stores around, so I bought a plain financier and a caramel financier with the 400 yen I had. The size was a bit small. The outer part had a firm texture, while the inside was fluffy and light. It might be the first time I've had a financier with this kind of texture. It seemed like they used plenty of butter.
