This time during my business trip in Osaka, I stayed at "Dormy Inn Osaka Tanimachi," which is conveniently close to tomorrow's work. The location is just a short walk from Tanimachi Yonchome Station on the Osaka Metro. You can go up the street and head west on Honmachi Street, cross the Uchihonmachi intersection, and it's on the right side along the street. Unfortunately, I didn't have the famous "night-crying soba" this time, but at least I was able to relax and sleep well after using the large communal bath. For breakfast, I had it at the 13th-floor venue called "HATAGO." This naming seems to be common in all Dormy Inns. The venue isn't luxurious but has a spacious layout between tables and a sense of cleanliness. It opened in May 2018, so that might be a reason for its newness. As soon as you enter, there is a kitchen with a chef preparing egg dishes, which is a common feature in this hotel chain. This time, as Osaka is known for its Western-style eateries, I recommend the "Beef Stew Omelette," which I ordered. Recently, business hotel breakfasts often include "local production for local consumption" and "seasonal dishes." Here, there was "chestnut rice" due to the season, "crispy udon" with mizuna as a local specialty, and "mixed juice" for dessert. As I'm from Osaka, I don't specifically choose these, but they are a nice service for tourists. The overall level of the food is about "above average" for a business hotel. If you don't have overly high expectations, you won't feel too dissatisfied. However, personally, as I use this chain quite frequently, I'm starting to feel a bit bored or lacking surprises. Well, I think that's because the service and quality are stable nationwide. The bill came to 1,500 yen. Thank you for the meal!
