On December 31st (Saturday), my wife was busy making New Year's dishes since morning. The kitchen was filled with completed dishes and pots, leaving no space. "What should we have for lunch?" We decided on Hot Mot's bento. There were many menu options to choose from, but we went with the classic "Special Selection Makunouchi Bento" (790 yen) and added "Nameko Soup" (140 yen). When I tried to make a reservation online, it was temporarily unavailable. Perhaps due to the busy season with orders for hors d'oeuvres. We made a phone reservation instead. We arrived at the scheduled time of 11:30 and got our food without waiting. Now back home, we enjoyed the warm meal. The rice was warm and delicious, with lightly salted salmon, rolled omelette, shrimp fry, sukiyaki-style dish, simmered dish, and a variety of side dishes. Let's not forget the pickled plum, nameko soup, and warm tea. The portion size was just right for my wife and me. We were satisfied and enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the feast.
