This shop is located in the shopping street in front of Hankyu Okamachi Station and sells jams, bagels, and baked goods. I really like the bagels from this shop, but I haven't been able to buy them because of timing issues. I finally had the chance to visit after they were freshly baked, so I bought some. The plain bagel (230 yen) is a simple flavor that allows you to fully enjoy the moist and chewy texture that is a feature of this shop's bagels. While it's not salty, you can taste the flavor of the wheat and a hint of sweetness. The red bean and chestnut bagel (320 yen) is packed with red bean paste inside. It's a Japanese-style bagel with the simple sweetness of red bean paste and the sweetness of chestnuts blending together. The black sesame mentaiko butter bagel (250 yen) combines the flavor of sesame seeds with a subtle spiciness from the mentaiko. All the bagels are delicious, and you can enjoy a variety of flavors that you won't find in other shops. I will definitely buy them again if I come across them when they are freshly baked.

I purchased a box of assorted cookies for 800 yen at a temporary store in Hankyu Department Store. There were several types of cookies in the box. The lemon cookie was broken, but it had a refreshing lemon flavor and a gentle sweetness from the granulated sugar. The piping cookie and flower cookie had a similar buttery taste that wasn't too strong, with a soft texture. The Parchi di Dama had a cocoa dough sandwiched inside, giving a slight bitterness and a crumbly texture. The cocoa and almond diamond cookie was a cocoa cookie with a subtle almond flavor. The biscotti had a pleasant bitterness from the walnuts and a crunchy texture that was quite addictive. Each cookie had a different flavor and appearance, making the assortment enjoyable to look at. The price was reasonable, making it a great gift option that would surely be appreciated.

I bought a spinach cheese bagel (250 yen) while out for a walk. I ate it in the car on the way, so the picture is not very clear, but compared to other bagels I've bought from the same shop, this one is smaller. I think it's because there are two in the pack for the same price. The spinach flavor is not strong, and the cheese taste stands out more. The dough is soft and the inside is moist and delicious. My 2 and a half year old daughter also likes the bagels from this shop and eats them often. I will definitely buy this again.

I was intrigued by the SIDEMAAN'S special European-style dry curry when I used the shop before, so I called and was able to reserve it. It costs 700 yen for a single item. When I called, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes, and when I arrived, it was already packed and ready to take home. You can choose from a small or large portion, and it also comes with a seasonal color potage. I ate it at home. I prefer mild curry, as I can't handle spicy food, but I heard that homemade mango syrup is used in this curry. Although I couldn't taste the mango, it was smooth and had a slight spiciness in the aftertaste, but it wasn't too strong for me. It had beans on top, adding a crunchy texture that complemented the curry flavor. Additionally, it came with a pickled cabbage that had a subtle acidity, which helped to neutralize the spiciness of the dry curry as you ate. The rice was also soft and went well with the dry curry. I was worried before ordering that it might be too spicy for me to finish, but I was able to enjoy it until the end. Just like the jam and bagels, I felt that everything was recommended. I would like to eat it again.

I passed by a place that had just opened after a long time and decided to try it out. It was close to closing time, so there was only one bagel left. I had the Kinako x Peanut Bagel (250 yen) with my 2-year-old daughter. The bagel was coated with kinako (soybean flour) and had large chunks of peanuts inside. The texture of the peanuts was crunchy and delicious. There was a lot of kinako on top, so be careful as it tends to crumble while eating. The bagel itself was soft and chewy, and very tasty. I personally enjoy bagels even at jam specialty shops, so I couldn't resist buying one.

Due to the declaration of a state of emergency, many restaurants were closed, but I decided to stop by and support this one that was open. I bought some jam for my family and myself, as well as bagels and baked goods even though it was a Monday. The Almond and Cacao Nibs jam (750 yen) is made with almond and cacao nibs in a soy milk base, with a strong sweetness from the vanilla beans and no bitterness. It would go well with bread or even ice cream. The Walnut Bagel (250 yen) had a subtle nutty flavor with large walnut pieces, and the plain bagel dough provided a simple taste. The Earl Grey Lemon Marmalade Bagel (250 yen) had a sophisticated flavor with the tea-infused dough, refreshing lemon acidity, and a hint of lemon peel bitterness. I personally wished for a bit more tea flavor. The Nut Cookie (280 yen) was flat with a crunchy texture from almonds, walnuts, and cornflakes, with a delicious buttery taste. It was good for 13 days after purchase. This was my first time buying baked goods, and now I want to try more varieties along with the jams and bagels. Although the selection may be limited, I want to support this local shop by purchasing as gifts or for myself.

This is a jam specialty store located in the shopping street of Oka-cho. I visited this time for their bagels as I still have jam stocked at home. The Cheese & Herb Bagel (250 yen) has a subtle herb aroma and a well-balanced cheese saltiness, making it delicious. The Black Sesame Bagel (240 yen) is packed with black sesame all the way through. The sesame flavor is not too strong, giving it a simple taste. The Cocoa Bagel (250 yen) has cocoa mixed into the dough, but the cocoa flavor is less than expected, with a natural sweetness. The pistachio bagel I had last time was my favorite. However, everything I tried this time was delicious. Above all, I love the chewiness of the dough. I will definitely go back to buy more jam when I run out.

I came back to buy more of the delicious jam I had before. The Pistachio Bagel (250 yen) has a chewy texture with a hint of saltiness, and you can enjoy the texture of the pistachio nuts. Even though it's a jam specialty store, they also pay attention to making bagels, using wheat from Hokkaido, soy milk, and cane sugar. They boil the dough once before baking to bring out the chewiness inside. The outside is crispy, while the inside is chewy, and it's my favorite dough compared to other bagel specialty stores I've tried recently. They have a limited quantity and often sell only on weekends, so if there are many varieties available, I would want to eat them repeatedly. The Pistachio Soy Cream (750 yen) is the most popular item in the shop. It's a jam in the form of pistachio paste. It's not bitter due to the soy milk, and it's sweet because it contains vanilla beans and cream. Personally, I didn't like it because it was too sweet. It's popular, so this is just my personal opinion. The Strawberry Jam (750 yen) is said to be a limited-time offer. You can feel the texture of the strawberry pulp, and it's sweet. However, I didn't feel the originality of this shop as much as with the jam I had last time. Since the availability depends on the season and sales situation, I would like to visit again during a walk and find my favorite jam.

I happened to come across a handmade jam specialty store that had recently relocated in Sakurazuka Shotengai. The shop was small and seemed to focus on takeout orders. They create jams that are "a little different" by combining ingredients from a workshop in Toyonaka. They also offer their products for sale online. I chose a Peanut Houjicha Caramel Butter jam (750 yen) which is made with soy milk milk jam as a base, with roughly crushed peanuts and houjicha tea. The milk jam base provides a gentle sweetness, without the bitterness of houjicha, and you can taste the caramel aroma and buttery richness, which goes really well with bread. The Tankan and Peach Pine jam (750 yen) is a limited edition made with Tankan from Kagoshima and Peach Pine from Okinawa. Contrary to the typical jam texture, it was slightly grainy. It has a hint of bitterness from the Tankan peel, balanced nicely with the sweetness of Peach Pine. I also bought a Plain Bagel (230 yen) which had a crispy crust but a soft, chewy interior, making it my preferred bagel dough. Even my daughter, who doesn't like bread, found the texture easy to eat and enjoyed it. In addition to the jams, they offer a variety of bagels, making it a great option for home consumption. The small size of the jams makes them easy to finish and they have a long shelf life, making them great for gifting different flavors. They have been selected as a return gift for Toyonaka City's hometown tax payment program, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
