Sunday dinner. I decided to go to a family restaurant because I didn't feel like shopping or cooking. I can't remember the last time I came to a family restaurant, but I used to come here often when I was younger. A 250ml decanter of white wine for 200 yen is just right for an aperitif. I tried the new cream pasta with aurora sauce that includes tomatoes and asparagus. I have a weakness for new items on the menu and always end up wanting to try them. The dish came with three shrimp, just like in the picture.

While walking in Shinsaibashi, I stumbled upon Saizeriya and decided to go in because I felt like having some wine. It's perfect for day drinking. The lamb steak with asparagus seems to be a limited-time offer. I had the peperoncino, garlic toast, Doria, 500ml of red and white wine, and ice cream. Even with all that, it only cost 3,000 yen for two people. Great value for money! The place is spacious and relaxing.

Today, I went to Saizeriya to grab a quick bite before heading to the mahjong parlor with my junior colleague from work. I had already decided on the meat sauce pasta and the diavola-style hamburger before coming in. It's been a while since I ordered a glass of wine as well! As for the taste, well... it's decent, just as you would expect for the price. It's tasty, but nothing extraordinary. I thought it would be nice if they had set menus with salad, soup, or rice, but considering how cheap the prices are, I can't really complain. After leaving Tengu-san, I wandered around the shopping street and decided to have a solo drink at Saizeriya Kitashinsaibashi store. I have visited the Sakaisuji Hommachi store a few times before. First, I ordered a drink - a 500ml decanter of red wine with a chaser. The red wine was decent for the price. I actually love really heavy wines. For food, I ordered Italian-style simmered tripe, lamb skewers, and Bolognese-style meat sauce pasta. The simmered tripe arrived quickly, but the taste was a bit bland. I added some powdered cheese to enhance the flavor. The lamb skewers were tough, even after adding spices. The Bolognese-style meat sauce pasta was not as meaty as I expected, even after adding powdered cheese. I ate heartily while drinking, but I'm still a bit hungry. Thank you for the meal.

On a weekend night, with an empty stomach in Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street, I couldn't bear it anymore and headed to this place on the 3rd floor of the building. There's a Gusto on the 2nd floor, but I wouldn't even look at it if there was a Saizeriya. It's dinner time, but the restaurant is empty, so I thought I could relax, but the surrounding customers are a bit noisy. Well, it's better than Gusto for adults. Set drink bar (200 yen), overcooked broccoli (250 yen), oven-baked escargot (400 yen), set petit focaccia (100 yen), Milan-style doria (300 yen), Italian hamburger (500 yen). It's a shame that the sautéed spinach is gone, but even if the prices have gone up, the cost performance is excellent. The taste is not exquisite, but for this price, it's more than enough. [Good points this time] Even after eating and drinking all this, I get change for 2,000 yen.

Near Osaka Shinsaibashi Station on a weekend around 3 pm. Met up with a friend from junior high school at Saizeriya. It's great that we can go without worrying about each other. Took the elevator up and entered the restaurant. Ordered the Milan-style Doria for 300 yen including tax and the drink bar set for 200 yen including tax. They apparently raised prices in July 2020, but it's still cheap. The Doria was delicious as always. The meat and white sauce were perfect. Thank you for the meal.

In recent years, many large family restaurants and izakayas have been closing down, but I am truly impressed by how "Saizeriya" is thriving. They offer great value for money and consistent quality. Today, I visited the Saizeriya in Shinsaibashi Kitamachi. It's a very large restaurant, but it was quite empty during this time. I decided to sit towards the back. First, I ordered some wine: Glass of wine for 100 yen, Decanter 250ml for 200 yen, 500ml for 400 yen, and Magnum bottle 1500ml for 1100 yen. Well, just introducing the wine options at Saizeriya is quite impressive. The taste is decent considering the price, and at this price point, no one would complain. For food, I had soft green bean warm salad for 200 yen, spicy chicken for 300 yen, popcorn shrimp for 300 yen, garlic grilled mussels for 400 yen, open-baked escargot for 400 yen, anchovy frico for 400 yen, white cabbage mixed pickles for 200 yen, margherita pizza for 400 yen, garlic toast for 200 yen, aglio e olio for 300 yen, and corn pizza for 400 yen. I believe the kitchen is run by just one person, cutting costs to offer these special dishes at such low prices. I must say, the taste is more than satisfactory. I ate a lot, all by myself. But considering how much I drank and ate, spending less than 5000 yen is quite amazing. I'll definitely come back again.

I happened to watch a video about Saizeriya on YouTube and suddenly felt like eating Spicy Chicken, so I went there for lunch. I really love the Young Chicken Diavola Style for 499 yen, so I ordered that with a side of Milan-style Doria for 299 yen. The Diavola Style is truly irresistible and delicious. After eating, I had a coffee and relaxed. Saizeriya is affordable and tasty. Thank you for the meal.
