Pollen is in the air, but the temperature is gradually rising, making it easier to go out. On a holiday, while driving, the car feels warm and dry, making my throat dry. Unfortunately, there are no cafes to stop by on the road I'm currently on. So, I parked my car at this Seven-Eleven and was asked to buy something on my way back. As I got out of the car, I saw a sign saying 'Coffee for ¥100'. Recently, many convenience stores offer freshly brewed coffee, and the taste is quite good. I've been enjoying going to convenience stores lately because of this. I had never bought coffee at Seven-Eleven before, so when I asked for iced coffee at the counter, the staff asked me if I knew how to use it. He then went beyond the counter and took out two things from the ice cream freezer. I didn't want ice cream, though. When I observed closely, I saw that it was ice in a transparent cup. He then placed the cup of ice on the coffee machine, closed the lid, pressed the iced coffee button, and the coffee started brewing. The amount that came out was small, but I'm sure the ice would melt and increase the liquid volume. I added some milk to it, closed the lid, inserted a straw, and it was ready. Of course, they also offer hot coffee. When I tried it, it was a delicious coffee with a balanced aroma, bitterness, and acidity. Among the convenience store chains I've tried recently, this one from LFM Company is the best. The iced coffee I had this time might have surpassed the coffee self-chain. And with this taste, the price of ¥100 including tax is quite impressive. It seems like they have made a strong effort to catch up as a later entrant in the coffee sales at the storefront. I'm not sure if this is a limited-time offer or if it will continue, but it's worth checking out at your nearest Seven-Eleven. After all, it's only ¥100!
