When staying at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka, I had breakfast at "Kyoryori Tankuma". They offer a traditional Japanese breakfast with a choice of rice or porridge. I chose rice and added an egg to make TKG. The grilled fish this time was delicious even though it was pre-cooked. Breakfast was quiet and not crowded, so it was a pleasant dining experience. I visited the branch of the long-established Kyoto cuisine restaurant "Tankuma" located in ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kitashinchi. The restaurant was founded in 1928 along the Takase River in Kyoto, and although it may seem a bit intimidating, they offer a lunch menu on weekends that can also be enjoyed in the evening. I had the "Taste History" course for 5000 yen (excluding tax and service charge), which included various dishes such as appetizers, soup, sashimi, grilled dish, Kamo eggplant and shrimp, yuba tofu, and more. The portion size was a bit small, but the elegant atmosphere and wonderful service made the dining experience enjoyable and delicious. I stayed at the hotel and used their breakfast service. I enjoyed a refined and elegant breakfast set in the morning, which helped me relax. It was nice that the place was not crowded and the portion for the adult breakfast was just right. It may not be enough for men, but I was very satisfied.

I used the breakfast at Café in the Park when staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel. Unlike the bustling buffet-style breakfast venue on the first floor, this place is very quiet. I don't like crowded places in the morning, so I found the calm atmosphere here very comfortable. The Japanese food was visually beautiful and the portion was just right, different from what you see at the buffet.

I like that I can have a quiet breakfast here. In the morning, you can choose either rice or porridge. The grilled fish was salmon, but it seemed like it had been reheated. It was a bit tasteless, which was a little disappointing. However, the rolled omelette was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

ANA Crown Plaza Osaka on the 6th floor is a Japanese restaurant. I couldn't quite figure out which dish in this restaurant really stood out in terms of taste. The food I had didn't seem to reach any particular taste goal for me. Perhaps it was because it was a holiday in February 2020, but we were the only customers. The vinegar flavor of the octopus dish that came out first didn't quite hit the mark for me, so it was a disappointing start. My personal expectations were not met, and I couldn't find a satisfying taste throughout the meal. It might have been because it was a substitute holiday and the second or third string staff were working. It's just how it goes, I guess. Personally, I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.

On New Year's Day, I met up with my in-laws and sister at a traditional restaurant in Kyoto that my sister-in-law had chosen. She had a discount ticket from ANA, which was great. The food was elegant and delicious, with a gentle and refined dashi flavor. We opted for the cheapest course since there were two elderly people with us and we didn't think we could eat that much. Instead, we indulged in a variety of drinks starting with beer, then hot sake, and finishing with red wine. The dishes were served in small plates, and despite the large number of courses, the portion sizes were just right. The standout dish for me was the sesame tofu we had at the beginning - it was chewy with a delicate sweetness and a nice sesame flavor. The only downside was that the waiter seemed inexperienced, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the food was well-prepared from the appetizers to the rice dish at the end, and it was a satisfying experience to start the New Year.

It was a lunch that I was invited to. It's been a while since I last visited this place. It's a Japanese restaurant in a hotel, but it's a relaxed atmosphere. I visited a restaurant to enjoy a Kaiseki meal. The interior was spacious. They brought dishes one by one, making me feel luxurious. The food was delicious. In the end, they even brought warm tea. The service was excellent, as expected from a hotel.

The night before, I was too excited and ended up with a hangover (^o^;) I decided to have a gentle Japanese breakfast at Tan Kumasan's place. You can choose between rice or porridge, but I wanted egg over rice so I chose rice and added an egg. The miso-grilled fish was delicious. The hijiki seaweed, which I haven't had in a while, had a great flavor and left me satisfied.

I'm hungry~♪ Instead of a buffet, I decided to have a traditional Japanese breakfast at Tankuma-san's today. I added an egg and for my first serving, I had egg over rice. You can have seconds of rice and miso soup♪ The kimpira and simmered dishes are delicious. You can try a little bit of everything, so I ended up getting a second serving of rice (^o^;) I was completely satisfied from the morning❤

A Japanese restaurant located inside ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka. It can be found in various hotels, so you may have heard of its name before. I used it for breakfast at the hotel. Even when the buffet is crowded, this restaurant is quiet and allows you to enjoy your breakfast peacefully. I believe the morning set meal cost around 2,000 yen.

There was a big business meeting in Osaka, and I had breakfast alone. Unlike work where I have to take the lead, I had some peace of mind. I decided to have a leisurely and delicious breakfast in the hotel where I stayed. A proper Japanese breakfast is really good. Even so, I knew I would be sitting all day, so this was the perfect start to the day.

Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I would love to go again.

I visited ANA Hotel for the first time in about 20 years. The lobby on the 1st floor has changed a lot, and the Japanese restaurant has also changed from Sheraton to Crown Hotel. I heard that Tan Kumasan is now in charge? Even though it has been about 20 years, time has passed. I often come to the area for meals, but I hadn't been to ANA Hotel. Feeling the flow of time, my wife and I had lunch there. A full course meal would have been too much for lunch, so we opted for a two-tier dim sum course (which was a bit small even for us, who eat lightly, so maybe a kaiseki course would have been better?). The food was delicately flavored like a Kyoto restaurant, with a rich broth and elegant taste. It was very delicious, but as mentioned in other reviews, the staff seemed inexperienced, which was a bit disappointing.

I visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was spacious, with each table having its own private booth, allowing for a quiet and private dining experience. Located on the 6th floor of a hotel, the restroom and overall atmosphere were quiet and pleasant. We had a course meal, and the timing of the service was good. The food was delicious, and overall it was a very satisfying lunch. It was a nice, calm place to enjoy a meal. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
