I had been curious about this place for a while. On the map, it looks like it faces a main street, but it's actually located on a side street off the main road. I decided to call on a Saturday evening just in case, and they had available seats. The interior was more spacious than I expected, with private rooms in the back. The decor was wood-themed. I was seated at the counter, and the chairs felt a bit low compared to the counter... but that's just personal preference. The menu had a wide variety of options including fish, meat, and vegetables, all of which looked delicious. I had a hard time deciding what to order, but I highly recommend the assorted appetizers. The reviews were right - the sweets in particular were really tasty. All the dishes showed the chef's dedication and were delicious. The menu also had other tempting dishes listed, like the rice cooked in a pot. I've definitely decided to come back!

We visited with our family of 5♡ Dinner was a treat after a long time^o^ It was delicious as always~╰(*´︶`*)╯ Tried gratin for the first time, it had plenty of seafood in it. Tempura changes depending on the season or day, so it's enjoyable. You can have a variety of seafood that you don't usually eat, which is good when you come here(^.^)

A delicious traditional Japanese restaurant near Mount Tsukuba. You can enjoy seasonal seafood and elaborately prepared dishes. The shirako (milt) and snow crab were incredibly delicious. The sashimi was fresh, and finishing with Inaniwa udon was a refreshing end to the meal. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience!

After finishing a long day of work, I was taken to a hidden gem of a restaurant. Despite feeling a bit queasy from the car ride and the heat, I decided to get off the taxi and join my friends. We started with a toast of beer to help settle my stomach. We ordered a variety of dishes including sashimi, grilled conger eel, crab stuffed in its shell, black wagyu beef hamburger, charcoal-grilled local chicken, lotus root manju with tofu skin sauce, seafood and asparagus gratin, octopus and tuna salad, and corn and clam rice pot. The sashimi platter was a luxurious mix of fresh tuna, grilled conger eel topped with sea urchin, live octopus, flounder, amberjack, and fatty tuna nigiri. Each bite was delicious. The crab stuffed in its shell was meticulously prepared and a true indulgence. The signature dish, "most popular! Manju," was filled with cream cheese, liver paste, and dried fig. The appetizer platter included homemade tuna with baguette, simmered duck breast, mugwort sesame tofu miso, and melon salad. The unexpected star of the meal was the black wagyu beef hamburger, which was incredibly tasty. The seafood and asparagus gratin was rich and filling, so it's best enjoyed with a group. The corn and clam rice pot was a comforting dish with plenty of corn and clams in a buttery pot. Even though I initially thought I wouldn't have much of an appetite, the delicious food and warm hospitality made me enjoy every bite. I am grateful to have been introduced to such a wonderful restaurant and look forward to returning soon.

We had lunch there many times, but it had been a while since we went for dinner with two friends. We enjoyed a sashimi platter, two types of grilled fish, and the famous Monaka dessert at "Hayashi-san." The sashimi and grilled fish were served in individual portions on plates, which was thoughtful and convenient for sharing among the three of us. We also tried two types of homemade sesame tofu, one grilled and one fried, both of which were deliciously creamy. They had disinfectant sprays at each table for COVID-19 prevention, so we felt safe dining there. We had a great time and would love to go back soon. After dinner, we went to a nearby bar called "Sora Side Bar" for a second round of fun.

The restaurant moved from Tenkacha-ya and opened on February 3, 2020 in the upscale residential area of Tezukayama. The interior is designed with a calm atmosphere, featuring wood elements similar to a traditional Japanese cuisine restaurant. The spacious layout includes counter seats and table seats. The seafood dishes are fresh and delicious. They offer a variety of options such as Miyazaki Wagyu beef, Oyama Jidori chicken, and seasonal vegetables. The specialty dishes of filled rice cakes and kettle rice are recommended. It takes 40 minutes to prepare the kettle rice, so it is advisable to order it in advance. Today, we had a large group so we tried two types of kettle rice. The "Filled Rice Cake with Shirasu and Umeboshi" was impressive with the combination of umeboshi, shirasu, large leaf, and crispy rice. It was a light and perfect way to end the meal. The "Kettle Rice with Chicken and Burdock" had a fragrant aroma of fluffy burdock and crunchy trefoil when the lid was opened. The delicious broth from the chicken and the subtle flavor allowed us to enjoy the ingredients. Thank you for the meal.

No matter what you order, it's delicious! The chef cooks alone and the seasonal dishes are constantly changing, with the kamameshi being especially good. The secret to the long-standing popularity in the Tezukayama area is definitely the flawless taste and service.
