A delicate dish created by a big and lively chef who seems like a rock. I was looking for lunch near Hirakata-shi station, but the prices were high everywhere. I found a restaurant for 850 yen, but they were closed today. Feeling lost, I found a place nearby with a nice exterior. They offered a daily special with a choice of 4 options, all served with sashimi. I selected the amazing menu item of grilled salted collar of horse mackerel. The service was quick. Huh? Three small collars? Not what I expected, but when I took a bite, I thought, "Hmm, delicious!" The fish had no fishy smell, and it was clear that it was fresh and just grilled. The sashimi, three types, were all carefully selected cuts. The side dish of simmered daikon radish was also delicious, with the flavor soaked in. A flawless lunch that showed the attention to detail. The table next to me ordered fried chicken and shrimp tempura types, which also looked appetizing with generous portions. It seemed to be a popular restaurant as they finished serving lunch by 12 o'clock. It was a great find. I would like to try it for dinner if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal for 1,000 yen.

Before I knew it, it had been three years since I last visited this restaurant for lunch. The tofu served as an appetizer caught my attention - "homemade mini Okatofu," or so I thought I heard. Mini Okatofu? Perhaps it's because it's homemade at Okakura that it's called Okatofu, and because it's mini-sized, it's called Mini Okatofu? I asked about it and found out it was a mishearing of "Mineoka tofu," a tofu made with milk. It was smooth and chewy, and delicious. As usual, we started with a sashimi assortment, featuring bluefin tuna, red snapper, striped jack, and amberjack. They really include good quality fish. Next was a rolled omelet. It was made with 4 eggs and about 120cc of dashi broth. The dashi flavor seeped out beautifully. Then we had simmered red snapper head. The rich seasoning paired well with the tender flesh. The simmered burdock root was also delicious. The owner seemed to be having some health issues, but we hope for a speedy recovery.

When I arrived after 12 o'clock, there was a sign saying that they were sold out for the day, so I went around 11:20 am today. There were already 5 people inside. The daily specials for today were: A. Sashimi and deep-fried chicken B. Sashimi and pickled vegetables C. Sashimi and grilled mackerel D. Sashimi and grilled collar (yellowtail) I ordered the sashimi and grilled collar (yellowtail) from D. The chef told me that it was the last one available. The next customer ordered pickled vegetables, and that item also sold out, leaving only two menu items left by 11:30 am. The restaurant opens at 11 am. The grilled collar (yellowtail) was recommended to be eaten as is without ponzu sauce since it was well-seasoned. It was a satisfying lunch set with a good portion size. Thank you for the meal!

I went to have lunch in Minoh! I arrived around 12 o'clock at this restaurant I had been curious about. It was already full, and the daily fish menu was sold out. The other daily specials were chicken cutlet and pork kimchi. Since I wanted to eat fish, I ordered the sashimi set meal for ¥1200. The sashimi was fresh and delicious! I am interested in the special set meal at Okakura, which requires a reservation, so I would like to make a reservation and visit again next time.

I decided to have lunch at this restaurant near Hirakata-shi station on this day. I had visited before but missed the lunch hours, so it was a second chance. The interior of the restaurant had both counter seats and tables. Since I was dining alone, I sat at the counter. There were three options for the daily set meal. I ended up ordering the following: - Daily Set Meal A (Large shrimp and vegetable tempura) (980 yen) I was also considering the chicken cutlet, but decided on tempura this time. The previous customers were few, but my meal was prepared quite quickly. The set meal included sashimi, tempura, red miso soup, and rice. The side dish was burdock root salad. The sashimi included salmon and yellowtail. The salmon had a beautiful color and tasted fresh. The yellowtail was thick and had a nice chewy texture. The tempura was also delicious. The large shrimp tempura was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The vegetables included green peppers, lotus root, and sweet potato. I particularly enjoyed the lotus root tempura. Overall, I was satisfied with both the sashimi and tempura. The owner also warmly greeted me upon entering and leaving, which was a nice touch. It was definitely a good decision to give this restaurant a second chance. Thank you for the meal!

It is located one street off the bus street in front of the station. Next door is a creative French cuisine restaurant, and next to that is a somewhat old-looking izakaya. When you enter the restaurant, you will find that it is surprisingly spacious. The layout is quite relaxed with seats spread out generously. The restaurant is run by a well-built chef and a woman who appears to be his wife. The daily special was "shrimp and vegetable tempura" which I ordered. As I was dining alone, the dish arrived fairly quickly. The rice was served in a shallow tea cup, cooked just right, using what seemed to be good quality rice. The side dish consisted of two pieces of simmered mackerel with a good amount of fat and a well-seasoned taste, although there were still thick bones left in them. The tempura included green peppers, pumpkin, sweet potato, shrimp, thick Vienna sausages, and another item that I can't quite remember. The batter was crispy, with sweet items tasting sweet, spicy items tasting spicy, and ingredients like shrimp being perfectly cooked. The sashimi included striped jack and bluefin tuna, both very fresh and firm with a good amount of fat. The miso soup was red miso with water shield, slightly on the lighter side. I had a refill of rice for free. If you're looking for a Japanese lunch around the city station area, this place or "Takomasa" would be a great choice. I look forward to visiting again in the evening.

Today, I came here. It's a dining place located in a narrow alley just off the main street near the Moriguchi City Hall. It's relatively new, having opened just over 2 years ago, and I've been wanting to visit. However, the owner was involved in a motorcycle accident while on a purchasing trip and had to close for about 4 months. After undergoing surgery and rehabilitation, he has now made a successful comeback, and I finally visited today. I arrived before 12 o'clock and found the interior to be clean and calm, with a kitchen on the right that is not visible, a counter with 5 seats in front, and table seats on the left. There seems to be more seating at the back, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The owner, a man in his 40s with a large and impressive physique, and his wife run the place together. The menu offers three options: "daily set meal," "sashimi set meal," and "Okazou set meal," with the option to add tempura. I ordered the "daily set meal." Today's special was "mackerel tempura." After enjoying the scented wet towel and cold tea, the meal arrived. It consisted of rice, main dish, sashimi, side dish, pickles, and miso soup. The thick mackerel was fried crisply and elegantly, and when dipped in the ponzu sauce, it was refreshing and perfect for the current season. The sashimi was sea bream and yellowtail, both firm and fresh with a good texture. The side dish was chilled tofu, which could have been improved with a bit more effort. The rice was in good condition and was finished in no time. The owner's smile and lively voice in the kitchen seemed to show his joy in being back at work. Keep up the good work! Thank you for the meal. Additional information: Prices are displayed excluding tax, wheelchair accessible, washlet available at the back on the right side, no parking available.

The owner is friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The restaurant seems to have many regular customers from the neighborhood. The interior is spacious with comfortable seating, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. The sashimi is very fresh, making me think that they may receive fresh fish from Wakayama. In the evenings, they offer reasonably priced dishes like sea cucumber hot pot. While the lunch menu may be slightly expensive, the generous portion and freshness of the sashimi make it a good value.

I always passed by this restaurant after 12 o'clock and saw the sign saying that lunch was over, so I was curious about what kind of place it was. I happened to go in today and I was impressed. The cost performance is good and the taste is great! I will definitely become a regular here! I overheard a conversation between the staff and the regular customers, and it seems that they often sell out of lunch by 12 o'clock. That makes sense considering the taste and portion size. If you can get in after 12 o'clock, you're lucky.
