The portion size is generous and satisfying. The kalbi was tender and delicious without being too oily. The harami, special tongue, ichibo, hachinosu, and urute were all tasty. It cost 28,000 yen for three people, which is expensive, but we ordered mostly premium cuts, so it's understandable. Overall, I thought the food was delicious.

I have visited the main store before, but this annex was my first visit. They serve Satsuma black beef and have a wide variety of menu items such as special sirloin, beef tongue, marushin, top skirt, tripe, and akasen. All the meats are finely trimmed and have excellent meat quality. The special sirloin, top skirt, and akasen were exceptionally delicious.

The premium beef tongue at this restaurant is excellent, with great flavor and texture. The premium harami and premium loin are also superb, with perfect aging. The thick slices of premium meat have a wonderful texture. The other cuts such as top kalbi, top harami, tetchan, and intestines were also incredibly fresh. The kimchi, namul, and kupa are enhanced by the fragrant sesame oil.

First visit on a Sunday night and I couldn't resist trying the forbidden hormone already. I noticed this restaurant the day before while wandering around the area and the catchphrase "a place with delicious hormones" caught my attention. The restaurant is located about 70-80m from the Fukutoshi Tenjin Station. I visited with my mother who was helping me move. Established in 2005. About 60% full. The dishes we ordered were: 1. 260 yen: Cabbage appetizer 2. 1800 yen: Special Kalbi (with sauce) 3. 680 yen: Striped neck (with sauce) 4. 580 yen: Round neck (with sauce) 5. 580 yen: Heart (with sauce) *Photos show a combination of 2-4. There was no option for salt with the hormones. 6. 1480 yen: Special belly (with sauce) 7. 680 yen: Bibimbap *No photo, drinks were: 1140 yen: Highball x3 200 yen: Oolong tea 7400 yen: Total bill. The food ratings: 1+5. [3.2] The appearance of the dishes looked delicious before being cooked, but they were not as tasty when eaten. The ingredients should be good, but the sauce was lacking. 2-4. [2.6] The lack of salt options was disappointing. As expected, the dishes were mediocre. The main store and annex have the same menu, so it seems like the annex focusing on hormones was just a gimmick. The striped neck dish was mostly just skin. I was planning to try rare cuts if the standard menu was good, but I changed my mind. I didn't try dish 6, so I can't comment on it. Thank you for the meal. I hope they improve their preparation and seasoning of the hormones. Left the restaurant at 9:00 pm with the restaurant being about 30% full.

Ushun Saburo has a counter on the first floor and table seats on the second floor, which may make it seem difficult to enter from the outside as you cannot see any available seats. However, now you can easily see if there are empty seats just by peeking inside. The menu is exactly the same, and the staff are constantly moving around, cheering and delivering meat. There are no original dishes exclusive to the annex, but you can enjoy Ushun Saburo's delicious meat in various ways. Due to its popularity, it can be difficult to get a table without a reservation, so it might be safer to make one in advance! When ordering three items, they are beautifully plated on one dish, but I had to wait for the meat to cook, so it would be nice if they could bring it to the table more quickly after considering the table situation. You can enjoy affordable cuts of meat that are not typically found in regular yakiniku restaurants, and they focus on A4 grade female beef with just the right amount of fat, so you won't feel heavy the next day even if you eat a lot.
