Overall, the food was delicious but high in salt. Many menu items could only be ordered from 22:00 onwards. I made a reservation for a Saturday and by 20:00, the restaurant was almost full, so I recommend making a reservation. Booking through Alcohol Net allowed me to use a HOT PEPPER coupon and receive a complimentary CAVA. The menu had a wide selection of Spanish beers, wines, and sherry. I tried the 【Squid Ajillo】, which was served before the tapas. The broth, garlic, and salt were perfectly balanced. I ordered an additional baguette because the 4 pieces included were not enough. I would have ordered more if the Squid Ink Paella was available. The 【Summer Vegetable Omelette】 had a strong vegetable flavor but became too salty after a quarter of it. The 【Squid Ink Paella】 was initially tasty but became too salty. The squid ink was slightly fishy. Although listed as a single serving, we shared one serving between two people, which was enough. The slightly al dente rice was a nice touch. The mayonnaise-like garlic sauce was overpowering and better left untouched. The 【Grilled Lamb Chops】 were tender, juicy, and delicious with flavorful thinly sliced potatoes as a side. I would definitely order this again. The 【Fried Conger Eel】 was light and fluffy, with no small bones. I would order this dish again, but without the mayonnaise-like sauce, as it tasted better without it.

I came to the Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall. Popular YouTuber, Rinko Takaki, is performing a violin solo. She will also be playing my favorite, Saint-Saëns No.3. For dinner, I went to a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Spanish restaurant. They offer a variety of dishes from different regions of Spain, allowing you to experience a culinary journey. The chef aims to recreate the atmosphere of Spain that he has visited multiple times and convey the richness of regional cuisine. Here's what I ordered: Oolong tea - 400 yen (tax included), Non-alcoholic beer - 600 yen, Tomato and anchovy salad - 900 yen, Salted cod omelette - 850 yen, Croquette with prosciutto - 800 yen, Valencian paella - 1,600 yen, Squid ink paella - 1,600 yen. It was a delicious meal. Vn: Rinko Takaki.

The other day, I finally visited El Alma, a Spanish restaurant in Fukushima that I had been wanting to go to. The interior of the restaurant was bright and had a warm atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. The dishes I ordered were Mushroom Ajillo, Spanish-style omelette, and today's recommended spring onion and squid paella. The Mushroom Ajillo had a rich mineral salt flavor, with a great texture of mushrooms and a deep flavor. The Spanish-style omelette had chunks of potatoes and a soft, creamy texture, and when topped with Iberico ham, it became even more delicious. The spring onion and squid paella was plump with rice grains and had a Japanese-friendly taste. The flavors of the spring onion and squid were prominent, and as a seafood lover, I was very satisfied. All the dishes highlighted the flavors of the ingredients while incorporating delicate spices, allowing me to fully enjoy the charm of Spanish cuisine. Through this meal, I once again recognized the excellence of El Alma, and I would love to visit again if given the chance.========== The Rioja red wine was also very delicious.

Visited a Spanish restaurant in Fukushima yesterday for dinner. I was curious about it. I felt awkward going alone, so I went with an acquaintance at 7:30 pm with a reservation. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were on the salty side. They had a wide selection of Spanish beers, which was nice. We ended up trying 5 out of the 7 types available. The total bill for two people was 11,400 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Udon for lunch and now El Alma for dinner. Let me introduce the menu I had today! - Non-alcoholic cocktail Mint Ginger First of all, it's great that there is so much mint in it. And this ginger is the real deal! Unlike the sweet ginger ale you often find in stores, this one has a strong ginger flavor. But with the mint and sweetness, it's refreshing to drink! It has a punch, so you can drink it just like an alcoholic beverage! For those like me who say, "I'm driving today!", it's a non-alcoholic drink but with a punch, so you can drink it just like an alcoholic beverage! It's not a half-hearted effort even if you order it just because. Non-alcoholic drinks often cut corners. - Alicante-style mixed salad T900 Let's start with this salad! I didn't eat much vegetables today, having bread in the morning and curry udon for lunch, so I'm getting my share of vegetables today! It's nice to have olives in it. In ordinary restaurants, the olives are often not that great, but the olives here are delicious, so the salad is enjoyable to eat! - Cheese assortment 2,000 yen The goat cheese on the bottom right and the cow cheese on the top left, and the other two were sheep cheese, I think. I ate one piece of goat cheese, but it's actually supposed to be two pieces. First, the goat cheese. Yeah, it's good. To put it crudely, there's not much gaminess, but it's creamy with a unique aroma in the aftertaste. Next, the cow cheese on the top left. This is a familiar cheese. I think it's high-class because unlike regular cow cheese, it has a nutty flavor and the smoothness of a high-class cheese lingers. It goes well with ginger. Ginger feels like a complete alcoholic beverage. The sheep cheese on the bottom left. Oh, this one has a strong taste, with a refreshing color, so I feel like I want wine, it's probably irresistible with alcohol. It might be a taste that real cheese lovers can't resist. I'm still a child. I ate it with berries. By the way, the red object on top of the cheese is not cheese. It's sweet, so it's good to eat it with this cheese. Lastly, the sheep cheese on the top right. This one is smoked, so the surface is hard and the smoky aroma is added, making it even cheesier! The baguette for decoration is also soft and moist, and the jam has a deep flavor. - Grilled sea bream with rapeseed blossoms and prosciutto sauce 1,900 yen I ate it all at once. I forgot to take a picture. First of all, the rapeseed blossoms and prosciutto sauce are amazing! The sauce has the essence of prosciutto seeping out, so I'm eating it with the baguette from earlier. The main sea bream is grilled, so when eaten with the sauce, the smokiness enhances the flavor! You can even eat the skin of the sea bream, and the skin has a nice salty flavor. People who like it will really love it, I think. By the way, I love it.

- This time, I decided to go to the restaurant with my wife and our elementary school daughter, as opposed to dining alone at the counter like last time. My wife, who loves Spanish cuisine, was satisfied with the taste last time, so I confidently brought them along this time. - The atmosphere of the restaurant was different from a year ago, as all the counter seats were reserved. Two elderly couples and a family of elderly couple were seated at the counter. They were all dressed casually, giving the impression that they were locals or regular customers. The chef was silently preparing the dishes, and both groups were watching intently. It was interesting to be able to see various cooking utensils and techniques at the counter, making dining there a unique experience. We arrived before 6 pm, and there was already one group seated at a table. After us, there were also takeout customers coming in sporadically. It seems like takeout is also an option here. The restaurant seemed busier compared to a year ago. - For drinks, our daughter had cola, while my wife ordered a Spanish cocktail and I ordered a Spanish liqueur. My wife's cocktail was called "Kalimotxo," made with red wine and cola. It's not too strong, making it a good choice for women. I had a Spanish liqueur called "Ponche," which the staff recommended mixing with orange juice. It was delicious and highly recommended for a first drink. For my second drink, I had a Spanish beer since they were out of "Mahou." The fruity beer I had was tasty, not overly fruity but still a good beer. - The Spanish-style omelette was a hit with our daughter, who kept saying how delicious it was. It was a simple omelette with potatoes as the main ingredient, making it easy for kids to eat and enjoyable for adults too. - The "Guchagucha" dish consisted of fried potatoes with a soft-boiled egg and sauce. Mixing the egg with the potatoes and eating it was a delicious experience. The sauce had a hint of vinegar, making it a favorite among adults. Highly recommended! - The grilled Iberico pork sausage was served with plenty of beans in a style similar to "ajillo." The sausage had a unique flavor that you can only taste at the restaurant, and our daughter enjoyed it, surprising us with how much she ate. - The grilled Iberico pork shoulder was a beautiful dish with brick-colored grilling pan showcasing the delicious meat topped with paprika and garlic. The potatoes and bell peppers added a great touch to the dish. The meat was absolutely delicious and a must-try. - The "Paella" pasta was the highlight, taking a bit of time to prepare, so it's best to order it first. The pasta version was ready in about 10-15 minutes and was incredibly tasty. My wife even praised the chef as a genius for this dish. - We were so full from the paella that we couldn't make it to dessert. I am a light eater, my wife eats like an average woman, so this meal filled us up. If you enjoy alcohol, it's recommended to try the ham as well. Dining at the counter allows you to watch the ham being sliced right in front of you.

- Leaving JR Fukushima Station, head towards the Mister Donut side and walk straight on Fukushima Shoutengai Street. After about 3-4 minutes, turn left without crossing the second traffic light. The restaurant is located on the right side, past the bento shop and post office. - The owner is a chef who worked at a Spanish restaurant for over 20 years. He used to work from 9 in the morning until the last train at night. He even supervised the opening of a Taiwanese branch of the restaurant where he worked, showing his expertise in Spanish cuisine. The chef finally opened his own restaurant in his hometown, fulfilling his dream. - The owner mentioned that he paid attention to the interior design of the restaurant. Instead of buying a pre-existing restaurant space, he built the interior from scratch. The owner chef admitted that it was costly, but it's evident that a lot of effort was put into the interior design. The atmosphere is stylish and the kitchen also reflects the same attention to detail. - Knowing the owner's dedication to both the interior and the cuisine, I decided to splurge on the menu today instead of ordering the usual items. I even skipped lunch for this occasion, determined to eat heartily! - I noticed they have Spanish beer called "Maou" for 900 yen, which is popular in Spain. It has a refreshing taste and goes down smoothly. - I tried the fig with prosciutto for 950 yen, a recommended dish of the day. It's a perfect choice for solo diners like me compared to the 1,500 yen prosciutto platter. The prosciutto is cut from a large piece and can be enjoyed with the fig, following the Spanish way of eating. - The fried Padron peppers from Galicia for 800 yen were a hit among other customers. You can eat as many as you want without getting heartburn, unlike other spicy dishes. It's a must-try for those who don't like prosciutto. - I ordered the Paella with Hokkaido snow crab for 1,800 yen. It takes about 30 minutes to prepare, so it's best to order it first. The dish is rich and luxurious, with the crab miso as the base adding a deep seafood flavor. - The grilled Iwate Tanshoku Wagyu harami for 2,400 yen is a truly luxurious choice. The high-quality meat is cooked over a brick-enclosed charcoal grill, resulting in a delicious and tender texture. It's like dining at a high-end restaurant but without the hefty price tag. - I tried the "Anis" liqueur made with Miura liqueur for 700 yen. It was a bit sweet for me, so I switched to a sour mix. It might be better with soda for those who prefer a lighter taste. - I indulged in a bottle of white wine, which I can't provide details on as I didn't take the menu. The wine had a perfect balance of sweetness and a hint of bitterness, making it dangerously easy to drink. - For dessert, I tried the Gypsy-style roll cake.

The paella was exquisite! The perfect balance of lemon, and the richness of seafood flavors spread throughout. The rice was cooked to perfection. Before entering the restaurant, the rich and elegant aroma of seafood filled the air. They have a variety of wines by the glass, as well as beer and sherry, all of which were delicious. We ordered a platter of prosciutto, grilled scallions with almond sauce, conger eel roe, and seafood paella. Although not pictured, we also had grilled apples. Next time, I think I'll order a variety of appetizers, more prosciutto, and two types of paella. The paella was so delicious, it made me feel truly happy. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ♥️

Visited on a Sunday. The high ceiling creates a comfortable atmosphere. The brick oven adds a strong presence. The lunch set with squid ink paella includes an appetizer platter and baguette with paste. It was authentic and delicious. I wanted to try dishes cooked in the brick oven, so I also had grilled sea bream and some kind of grilled meat (forgot the name). They were crispy on the outside and tender inside, very tasty. The wild peppers were also enjoyable! The wine selection was extensive and very delicious. The staff were kind and made the dining experience enjoyable. The steak lunch that other customers ordered looked really delicious, so I want to try it next time!

Today I had a quick drink. It was nice to be able to drink Maou, a Spanish beer, after a long time. The prosciutto and fig were also amazing! I ordered various other things afterwards, but I got drunk and forgot. Please check out my past reviews!

During the period of the extended prevention measures, my husband and I heard that they were serving paella lunch on weekdays, so we decided to go try it out! We chose the seafood paella and clam paella. Both dishes had a rich flavor with a strong broth and were served piping hot, which was delicious! (The menu notes that paella takes about 30 minutes to prepare, so be prepared for that haha) The appetizers and bread were also delicious! Every dish had a strong taste of salt and oil, so it might be a bit heavy for someone like me who doesn't drink alcohol, but it was still delicious! It seems like a perfect place for those who enjoy drinking. I would recommend this restaurant! (^^)

Walk west from the Fukushima shopping street for about 7 minutes. This restaurant is located on a side street. With takeout options becoming less common, it took a bit of searching to find it. Upon entering, you'll see a large display of prosciutto. The dishes ordered were potato omelette, sausage fritters, squid ink paella. The freshly made potato omelette was fluffy and delicious. The fritters were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The paella had just the right amount of rice sticking together, with a subtle taste of squid ink and seafood. The total cost was around 3000 yen, which felt reasonable for a meal that can be enjoyed at home.
