I asked for the recommended item that appears at the top, but if you don't mind not having boiled eggs or seaweed, it is cheaper to choose something yourself from the menu below. The taste is delicious and if I have the chance, I would like to try other ramen dishes as well.

♡[Kenzo Spicy Ramen]♡ Osaka❤︎‬ Kori-en♡Kenzo Spicy Ramen ¥690♡Me and my colleague went to this ramen shop in Kori-en, just a 5-minute walk from Kori-en Station. They have a parking lot for 4 cars, which is quite rare, especially considering the proximity to the station. The fact that they are always busy is a testament to their popularity. The interior of the shop is quite ordinary, but it seems to be a local hangout spot judging by the regular customers. The energetic staff, especially the older brother, stood out. The main attraction is the Kenzo Ramen, priced under 700 yen, which offers great value for money. I thought ramen shops had limited options, but they had three types of ramen - soy sauce, miso, and tonkotsu salt, as well as tantanmen, tantan tsukemen, and regular tsukemen. They also had a variety of side dishes like gyoza with three different fillings - normal, shiso, and shrimp. The cost-effective Kenzo Ramen was a must-try, so I went with the soy sauce flavor this time. It had a clear soy sauce tonkotsu broth with lots of green onions and the option to add more for free. The broth was a blend of mild soy sauce sweetness and rich tonkotsu flavor, making it more like a light tonkotsu ramen than a typical soy sauce ramen. The soft, lightly seasoned chashu and the sweet, diced chashu were both delicious. The soft-boiled seasoned egg was also a nice touch. Overall, it was an easy-to-eat, standard soy sauce tonkotsu ramen that even a ramen novice like me could enjoy. The restaurant was open until late, which I didn't know ramen shops did. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.♡ Restaurant Name: Kenzo Spicy Ramen Access: 411m from Kori-en Station Business Hours: [Mon-Fri] 11:30-14:00, 18:00-3:00 [Sat-Sun/Holidays] 11:30-3:00 Closed: Irregularly #KenzoSpicyRamen #OsakaGourmet #OsakaRamen #NeyagawaGourmet #KoriEnGourmet #Ramen #KyotoTravel #FoodiesWanted #GourmetLoversWanted

Kenzo Spicy Ramen (Osaka, Kouri-en) Kenzo Ramen (Shoyu) with Iggy & The Fool Ramen #79 of 2022 Today, I visited Kenzo Spicy Ramen in Kouri-en, as recommended by a friend. I arrived before 2 pm to avoid the peak hours, so I didn't have to wait to be seated. It's great that they have parking space for two cars. I ordered the Kenzo Ramen (Shoyu) from the menu, which is displayed in the top right corner. After a 10-minute wait, the ramen was served. Soup: The soup is a light blend of pork bone broth with a hint of soy sauce. It's easy to drink, with a subtle pork bone flavor and a smooth texture. Noodles: The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with a slight wave. They are cooked al dente by default, with a good bite to them. However, they lack chewiness and stickiness, which may be a matter of personal preference. Chashu: The chashu is thick-cut pork belly, well-marinated and tender, with a rich flavor. Overall: I finished the ramen completely. While it is quite light and easy to eat, I started to lose the depth of flavor in the soup towards the middle of the meal, which was a bit disappointing. However, considering the price in the 600 yen range, this ramen offers good value for money.

On the last Saturday of May at 12:00, there were 3 customers already seated when I arrived. The restaurant was well organized and tidy, and it appeared much larger from the inside than from the outside. They also have a parking lot that can fit 4 cars! The customers who were already there left by the time I entered. I ordered the Soy Sauce Ramen for ¥690, a Lunch Set (small fried rice) for ¥320, and some pan-fried dumplings for ¥290. I was surprised to see them serve fried rice even though they are known for their dumplings. I started to wonder if the timing was right. As I waited, the fried rice arrived first. It seemed like it was reheated and was a bit dry. The taste was okay, but it was a bit disappointing. A couple of minutes later, the ramen arrived. It was decent but lacked any distinctive flavor. It was not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it. Finally, the dumplings arrived quite late. I'm not a fan of restaurants that serve dishes at different times. I understand that it can be challenging during busy times, but they seemed to have only prepared my order. The taste was average, and it felt like they were using commercial dumplings. Overall, the restaurant seemed to aim for a chain-like atmosphere, but it was located slightly away from the station and not along a main road with a large parking lot. The service was lacking, with a scary time gap between serving dishes to individual customers. The fried rice seemed to be pre-made, and the restaurant had a mix of chain and individual store qualities, which was disappointing. The staff had a good attitude, and I felt that with some improvements, the restaurant could be much better. It's a shame that they are missing out on potential. The fact that no new customers came in during my visit may indicate a critical view from customers.

Before the storm. I had a limited-time spicy mapo tofu dipping noodles. It comes with a side of rice. The spicy mapo tofu goes well with the dipping noodles. I added some green onions for a refreshing taste. I poured the leftover soup over the rice to make mapo tofu rice bowl, which was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

*Kenzou Ramen Shoyu - ¥690 Regular ramen. Feels a bit overpriced. I remember it being in the 500 yen range 10 years ago.

I have been curious about this shop facing the street for a while, and today I had the perfect timing to visit during lunchtime! The shop has a clean and welcoming atmosphere with both counter and table seating options. The staff are also very friendly. They offer ramen, tsukemen, gyoza, fried rice, and more. You can choose from soy sauce, tonkotsu, or miso ramen. While I was deciding, my miso ramen arrived. It was well-balanced and delicious. I felt that the soup was a bit lukewarm, and then I realized that the char siu and chashu were cold, so it seemed like they cooled down the soup. I prefer my ramen piping hot, especially in winter. Next time, I want to try the soy sauce ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I went to eat. This time, I went with my family. Kenzo Ramen (soy sauce) is a delicious soy sauce ramen. If you're not sure what to order, go with this one. Taste: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Quantity: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Tonkotsu salt ramen doesn't taste salty. It's just a regular tonkotsu ramen. However, it's not as greasy as pure tonkotsu. Taste: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Quantity: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5 *Please note that taste and quantity are subjective, so use this as a reference only.

The combination of runny egg and tender chashu is the best. This local ramen shop that I've been going to for over 10 years. After drinking, I top it off with a mountain of green onions and slurp the ultimate bowl of ramen.

The parking lot can fit about 3 cars, and the shop is small with a counter-centered layout. The soup is not too greasy and delicious. I go there regularly. I don't remember the exact date I went.

"I visited 'Kenzou Ramen' in Neyagawa City and tried their 'Soy Sauce Spicy Ramen (520 yen)'. The nearest station is Keihan Koorien Station. The menu includes Soy Sauce Spicy Ramen (520 yen), Pork Bone Salt Spicy Ramen (550 yen), Miso Spicy Ramen (550 yen), Kenzou Spicy Ramen (Soy Sauce flavor) (620 yen), Char Siu Spicy Ramen (Soy Sauce flavor) (750 yen), Vegetable Spicy Ramen (Soy Sauce flavor) (650 yen), with options to add Pork Bone Salt (+30 yen), Miso flavor (+30 yen), Tsukemen (regular 200g) (850 yen), (large 300g) (950 yen), Menma (+100 yen), Special Egg (+100 yen), Extra Noodles (+130 yen). The pork bone broth has a low viscosity with a slightly strong soy sauce flavor and a moderate pork bone umami, giving it a light and easy-to-drink taste. The straight thin noodles have a good throat sensation and a slightly firm texture with a good chewiness. The char siu is perfectly tender and well-seasoned."

Located a short walk from Kohrienzono Station, "Kenzo Ramen" is a convenient option for a meal as there aren't many dining options on this side of the station. I visited during lunchtime and found two customers at the counter and a few others at the tables already. The main dish, "Kenzo Spicy Ramen" is priced at 620 yen and comes in a basic soy sauce flavor, with the option to add pork bone salt or miso flavor for an additional 30 yen. It comes with a boiled egg and a slice of chashu, making it quite cost-effective. The fact that you can add as much green onion as you like is a nice touch. The extra noodle option costs 130 yen, which may be a bit pricey. They also offer lunch sets like chicken cutlet, making it a recommended choice for those with a big appetite!! Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday night. The parking lot has space for four cars next to the shop. It is a small shop with three tables and a counter, but the staff are energetic and likable. I ordered the Vegetable Ramen (soy sauce flavor) for 650 yen including tax. It comes with a little cabbage, carrots, and radish strips, bean sprouts, and green onions. The green onions can be topped as much as you like, and the soup is pork bone-based with very thin noodles. The price is also reasonable. Thank you for the meal! (^O^)
