A popular shop called GREEN KETTLE in Shirasagi has opened a sister store in Goryo-mae, Sakai-ku. This shop specializes in baked goods and gelato. Inside the store, there are rows of baked goods. There is a workshop at the back where the pastry chef makes everything by hand every day. There is also an eat-in space where you can enjoy their specialty baked goods and gelato. I ordered the baked goods plate with a drink for 1500 yen. It came with a choice of one gelato flavor for the day. The plate included a variety of baked goods: meringue coco, brownie, canele, yuzu and lemon weekend, financier, and rum cake. The baked goods are always delicious, especially the canele and the buttery financier. The contents of the plate may vary depending on the day. I also tried the gelato, choosing pistachio. The gelato was rich and flavorful, and the kettle-shaped cookie on top was adorable. My partner ordered the double gelato for 420 yen. The blue milk flavor was a unique blend of salty and sweet, while the strawberry and rhubarb was vibrant and delicious. Visited "BLUE KETTLE" in front of Goryo in Sakai City with my family. It was our first time at "BLUE KETTLE" and they were having a "Peach Fair". I had the "Luxurious Peach! Peach Melba Style", my kids had a double scoop of gelato, and my wife had the "Peach Kettle Parfait". "BLUE KETTLE" is located a little south of the intersection of Goryo Street and Daido-suji Street, just off the main road. The shop had a cool exterior with a blue kettle-shaped sign on the slightly rusty tin wall. Now, the "Luxurious Peach! Peach Melba Style" I had was so peachy!! It looked really cute too. The gelato was also amazing! The "Luxurious Peach! Peach Melba Style" was incredibly delicious~~~

I stopped by this shop that I had been wanting to check out for a while. When I passed by, I saw a sign for a coin parking lot with "vacant" displayed. Upon closer inspection, it seemed like you could drive further back from the road. I decided to go in and found a parking lot where 4-5 cars could park, along with the shop. I was honestly surprised. Inside, there were many customers, mostly women. The shop was filled with baked goods, including cheesecakes and butter sandwiches. But the main attraction was the gelato. You could choose from about 5 flavors and opt for a single, double, or parfait. The parfait looked like something that would be popular with girls for its Instagrammable appearance. Since I wasn't planning on eating a lot, I decided to try a double scoop. I chose the blue something and pistachio flavors. I sat down inside the shop to taste them. It was authentic gelato. The temperature, texture, and viscosity were just right. The flavors were also good. I also bought a cheesecake, butter sandwich, and financier. They were all delicious, but the financier could have been a bit sweeter for perfection. The cheesecake was extremely rich, which might be a hit or miss depending on personal preference. I personally liked it. The butter sandwich was well-made, with the butter melting nicely. Being able to enjoy gelato, baked goods, cakes, and butter sandwiches all in one place is great. I highly recommend this shop!

When my son was in elementary school, he used to pass by this road on his way home from school, but I wonder when this lovely shop was opened. I followed MyRebi-sama and found it. The parfait with hydrangeas for 850 yen is just beautiful. It's small, but very satisfying. The "Injured Person" sablé for 100 yen is a bargain because it's a broken sablé, but it's named "Injured Person" to make it cute instead of calling it a broken sablé. The naming sense is wonderful. The Prince's Cheesecake for 380 yen is a must-buy for our prince at home. The receipt says it's a secret reward made by the patissier. I never used to take the receipt, but now that I do, I'm surprised to see such a message. It also had two types of ice cream, which were delicious. The shop's name, Blue Kettle, is also cute with a small blue kettle on top. At this time of year, my father makes various hydrangeas as gifts, so I also bring hydrangeas to my friends, but there are so many varieties that I struggle to choose which one is best.

The parfait at the Nemophila field is 850 yen. This is the sister store of Green Kettle in Shirasagi. The parfait is topped with Nemophila cookies, Kettle sablé, and Murang Coco's cloud cookies, with beautiful and cute colors. I chose Blue Milk Gelato and Honey Oolong for the gelato, which was very rich and delicious. I would love to go there again.

Kettle Brownie 350 yen, Breton Galette 200 yen, Very Berry Milk Cake 280 yen, Financier Burnt Butter 230 yen. I went because I wanted Canelé, but they were sold out and still baking. I bought a few things that caught my eye. Cute shop! Makes you want to buy more. Brownie and Galette were for myself. Brownie was moist and rich in chocolate! Galette had a crispy texture. Both were delicious. Berry and Financier were for my friend. Hopefully they will have Canelé next time...

My partner always receives gifts from acquaintances from this shop's baked sweets. It seems to be a sister store of greenkettle, a popular parfait and shaved ice shop in the same Sakai City. This time, I received financiers. They are much more delicious than famous shops in department stores! Well, I had only eaten financiers from such shops before, so I had an image of them being dry and tasting similar everywhere. The financiers from this shop are moist and have a great texture (just the way I like it). The sweetness is just right. The burnt butter and pistachio flavors both have a nice aroma when you bite into them. I have received them a few times now, and the cookies are also very delicious, so I always look forward to them. The shop is a bit far from my home, so I don't have the opportunity to go often, but I would like to visit soon as they also have gelato and other items. Thank you for the treats as always.

Opened in July 2022, Blue Kettle in Sakai, Osaka is the sister store of Green Kettle. They offer baked goods and gelato. I ordered the "Halloween Party" special, where you can choose two gelato flavors topped with black cocoa cookies, purple sweet potato kettle cookies, crumbles, jack-o'-lantern decorations, and a daily sweet treat. There are about 5 parking spaces in front of the store. The interior is decorated beautifully, and once you enter, you are greeted with a sweet aroma. Today's flavors include "Pistachio" cake, "Prince Charming Cheesecake", hot coffee, and apple soda. The pistachio cake has a mild sweetness and is easy to eat, with hints of saltiness, making it delicious. The cheesecake is light and tasty. There is a new branch called Blue Kettle that has opened from Green Kettle, and I was planning to visit it soon. It's located in a secluded area, but you can easily see the availability of parking spaces on a digital display. The shop is housed in a renovated old house. When I entered, I noticed that it was mostly women. I ordered a Blue Kettle parfait, which allows you to choose from two gelato flavors - Blue Milk and Strawberry & Rhubarb. The parfait had a combination of blue and pink colors with baked cookies on top. I enjoyed the cookies first and then moved on to the gelato, which had a refreshing sweetness. Today's dessert is from the bakery and gelato shop "bulekettle" which will open on July 13th. I found out that they had a pre-opening on the 8th, 9th, and 10th, so I decided to visit right away. When you see the blue wall, you will find the parking lot and the shop in the back. The interior of the shop had a simple design with wood accents. There were two-person tables and counter seats available. I ordered a single scoop of pistachio gelato for 350 yen (tax included). The gelato had a nice texture and the pistachio flavor was not too rich, but had a delicious nutty aroma and taste. I enjoyed eating it in the cozy atmosphere of the shop. Thank you for the meal!
