I always wanted to visit the Diorama Dining Tetsudo Kan in Teradacho, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City, and my friend made a reservation for me. It's just a 2-minute walk from the north exit of Teradacho Station on the JR Loop Line. At Tetsudo Kan (1st floor), you can spend an hour in a world of cats and dioramas to relax. It was tea time (3:00 PM), so I got a set with cake and a drink of my choice. The cats were friendly and you could even pet them. After playing with the cats for an hour, you can also visit the 2nd floor. There were about 14-15 rescue cats around 1 year old on the 2nd floor, including some under a month old. The 2000 yen entrance fee includes the right to apply for adoption, so if you want to become a foster parent, you can take a cat home after an interview. The first floor has a railway diorama, allowing for interesting photos with cats and the diorama. There are also many rescued cats on the second floor. You can play with cats that are friendly towards people, as well as those that are shy and hide. I hope that more of these rescued cat cafes will spread throughout the country.

The interior has a railway diorama and about 10 friendly cats who provide service. There is a cat shelter on the second floor, and after tea time, you can visit the cats there as well. To be honest, it feels like the main enjoyment of this shop is looking at things rather than eating. You can't control the diorama, but you can bring your own and control it. The size is N gauge. There are a few cats, but they are very calm. If you don't dislike cats, it won't bother you at all. It's a great place where you can enjoy both excitement and relaxation.

Railways and model trains may seem niche and intimidating, but coming here makes you feel amazed by the simplicity of the dioramas and the trains! Plus, the food is delicious! I'm curious about the nighttime light-up event they have. You can even choose your own train and operate it on the table using some kind of controller. It's so much fun, and you can enjoy a meal too.
