I went to Yoichi and visited the Nitri Kankou Kajuen seeking desserts. - Niagara Soft Serve Ice Cream (400 yen): I wanted to try this. It has a strong sour taste. It's not bad, but it has a peculiar taste. - Fuji Apple Pie (300 yen): I got it freshly baked. I enjoyed the hot apple pie while breathing heavily. It has a slight hint of cinnamon, no nutmeg, so you can taste the sweetness and slight sourness of the apple directly. Personally, I prefer apple pie with a strong cinnamon flavor, but with the freshly baked bonus, it was a very delicious apple pie. Among the many tourist orchards, Nitri was the standout. If I have the chance, I would like to try fruit picking as well.

The end of summer, when the sky is a little higher, we headed out for fruit picking. The management of the place had changed to Nitori, but it was mostly the same, with the addition of ticket vending machines, showing a glimpse of good corporate management. We chose the all-you-can-eat and take-out course for the day, paid the bill, grabbed a map, and started with the grape field... Sour, sweet, we somehow got a sense of it. Then on to the peaches... Popular as expected, with some groups eating surprising amounts at the tables. It was fun, but it was still a bit early, so the peaches were firm. I managed to get a relatively tasty one after peeling off the tough skin with a knife, thanks to a friend who found a crunchy and beautiful one. The plums were also delicious, but a bit early. Despite the heat, we enjoyed the "harvest" while chatting about this and that. Then came the weighing... We both guessed the weight of our food, but it seemed that my sense of weight when it comes to food was still sharp. So we quickly decided on a rule and I got the apple pie! Thank you. After paying the bill, we also enjoyed some "Niagara soft serve," but the grape flavor was strong and while I was initially delighted, I got a bit tired of it towards the end. The apple pie was enjoyed at home later, with its rich apple compote and the natural sweetness that allowed the ingredients to shine, along with the subtle presence of butter... This is definitely a classic item. Highly recommended. A day out in the clear sky, enjoying nature... Indeed, taking care of our mental well-being is important. A meaningful energy boost.

I visited a tourist fruit orchard in Yoichi that is managed by Nitori. The vast grounds offer various fruit picking experiences depending on the season. Summer leisure activities like music festivals and fireworks displays were my go-to, but due to the pandemic, I had to refrain from those last year and this year. Amidst this situation, fruit picking here was a fun activity that could be enjoyed without getting too close to others. In Hokkaido, July and August are the peak seasons for a variety of fruits. Harvest times here are slightly later than in Honshu, so you can enjoy strawberries, cherries, blueberries, plums, and peaches all at once! This is something you can't experience in other regions. In September, you can enjoy peaches, pears, prunes, apples, and grapes, which is also quite appealing. You can check the official website or Facebook to see which fruits are available, so I recommend doing so if you have a specific fruit in mind. The trees with ripe fruits have pink ribbons tied to them, making it easy to pick the right ones to eat. With a wide outdoor area and plenty of space, you don't have to worry about keeping a distance from others, which is great. Even without any discounts, the all-you-can-eat fruit picking experience is available for 1,500 yen with no time limit. It's a relaxing picnic-like atmosphere, and I think it's a great value for the price. Enjoy!

Cherry picking. It was so delicious! It cost 2300 yen with 500g to take home! I got a little greedy and picked more than 200g, so I had to pay an extra 400 yen, but it was just right for souvenirs! Without takeout, it was 1800 yen! The autumn taste course looks really good, so I want to go back around October! Also, I forgot to take a picture, but the apple pie they sell here was delicious and warm! It has a cinnamon scent!

Today is the last day of Golden Week. Tomorrow, I will be busy running around, so today I took the opportunity to visit places I wanted to go and took the wheel. First, I enjoyed the fully blooming cherry blossoms at Lake Toya. Next, I was satisfied with the weeping cherry blossoms at the Arus Zenkoji Temple in Date. Then, I secured Kintaro's drinking water in Niseko. After that, I refreshed my body and mind at the Kucchan Onsen. I took a short break at the Ineki Fist and had a chat. And for my favorite treat, I visited "3 o'clock snack time, with my favorite apple pie!" It had been a while since I last visited. When I entered, as expected, there were no customers in sight. There were no staff at the counter either. I called out loudly, "Excuse me! Is anyone here??" A cute female voice responded from the back, "Yes!" and a lovely lady appeared. I ordered an apple pie from her. She handed me a pre-wrapped apple pie from the case. Clearly, it was not freshly baked. Well, it's not the season, so it can't be helped. She kindly directed me to park my car in a nice spot on the premises. The pie crust was flaky, and the apples were generously filled with a mild sweetness. It had a satisfying texture! It wasn't bad, so I left feeling content. Next time I come, I'll make sure to visit during the season.

Visit date: 19-9-14 Companion: Friend This is a fruit orchard recommended by my friend. I have done strawberry picking before, but fruit picking at an orchard was a first for me, haha. The orchard was bustling with tourists and locals on the first day of the three-day weekend when we visited. We were able to pick pears, plums, apples, and grapes. The juicy pears, slightly tangy plums, and refreshingly sweet apples were delicious. And the grapes! They were incredibly delicious, and I couldn't stop eating them, haha. It was my first time eating so many fruits in one go. I realized that when doing fruit picking in the autumn season, it's best to go on an empty stomach because you'll want to eat without limits. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. It was so much fun and the fruits were delicious! Thank you for the meal. ☆

Visited a cherry-picking farm. Paid the entrance fee at the entrance. It was 2000 yen for all-you-can-eat plus 500g of cherries to take home. Received a plastic container and entered the farm. Many trees were full of fruits. There were varieties such as Sato Nishiki, Tsukiyama Nishiki, Beni Shuho, and Summit. Each tree had a name tag. Even the same variety tasted different depending on the tree, so I looked for a tree with the sweetness I liked while eating. Since the farm was large, I walked around quite a bit to find the perfect tree. Found it! It was the Summit tree, big and sweet! Other people were around different trees, so I had the all-you-can-eat to myself. When I was full, I picked some nicely shaped cherries to take home. The souvenir was limited to 500g, so I paid for the excess amount at the exit. You can also leave the excess cherries behind. I would love to come back next year for this seasonal event. Thank you for the delicious experience.

Let's go eat shirasu-don in Shuttom! The last stop on the trip was a shop called "Yamamoto Tourist Orchard" on the outskirts of Yoichi, up in the mountains. I usually buy apple pie at the Yoichi Michi-no-Eki "Space Apple Yoichi". This time, I went to the main store! The shop was closed, maybe because it's not the season yet, but when I peeked in from the exit, they opened up and sold me freshly baked apple pie. It was a little past 3 PM on a weekday between holidays. There were no customers before me, and only one group after me. I bought two apple pies for 290 yen each, which was slightly cheaper than at the Michi-no-Eki where they were 320 yen each. I took them home and had them as a dessert for my evening drink. The apple pie had a hint of cinnamon and was delicious because it was freshly baked. I went to bed at 8 PM, early to rise early to bed. ------------------------------------ Memo of this trip: Departed from the subway near Shiroishi at 8 AM → "Kinoko Oukoku Niki Store" at 9:30 → Iwanai "Latitude 43 North" at 10:30 → Shuttom "Shirasu Koya" at 11:00 → Shuttom "Yubetsu no Yu" at 12:20 → Yoichi "Yamamoto Tourist Orchard" at 3:20 PM → Arrived back at the subway near Shiroishi at 4:40 PM.

Visited Bistro Koizumi in Otaru on 17/9/17 and had a delicious lunch before heading here at the request of my wife. It was a long weekend, so the parking lot was full and we had to wait for about 5 minutes before being guided to a parking spot by a security guard. There was a line at the reception, so we waited in line. I opted for the all-you-can-eat option while my wife chose the all-you-can-eat plus takeout (up to 2kg). After listening to the staff's explanation, we finally went fruit picking. We started with grapes, but they weren't very sweet and most people around us found them sour. We then tried prunes and pears, but they lacked sweetness. There were also apples, but we decided to skip them as well. It seems fruit picking is tricky. In the end, my wife decided not to take any fruits home. The smell of Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) was the most tempting. It was my first time fruit picking, and it was an interesting experience.

I have been coming to Yamamoto Kanko Kaju-en for the past three years. It has become a fall tradition for my family. The main reason we come here is for their apple pie - it's simply the best! I have tried apple pies from various places, but the combination of pie and apples here is outstanding. The apple pie is always warm and freshly baked due to its popularity, which I love. The slightly sour apples are just to my liking, and the pie crust is super crispy! This time, I ended up buying five pies and enjoyed them every day. Reheating them makes them crispy again! As for fruit picking, since it was the last day of the long weekend, most of the ripe fruits had already been picked, so it was a bit disappointing. It was my first time trying the "peach" all-you-can-eat option, which I was looking forward to, but it was a miss. I guess if I come again, I should visit on a Saturday morning! Also, having wet wipes and a small cutting board would make the experience perfect! Thank you for the delicious food! Our next stop is always the Mushroom Kingdom after this - it's a fall tradition!

I wanted to try the apple pie, so I came here. It looked delicious, so I decided to buy it. I sat down on a chair and slowly enjoyed it. The crispy texture was great, and the apple had a real fiber-like feel with a strong natural sweetness. It was delicious - crunchy, chewy, and tasty. I finished it in no time. The aftertaste was also good, and it was a satisfying dish. It would have been a great souvenir to bring home. Thank you for the meal!

Apple Pie Touring is in its second year. Unfortunately, the store in Niki Town closed last year, so I came to Yoichi this time. I relied on the navigation system to get to Yamamoto Tourist Orchard. Right now, the cherries are in full bloom with small, bright red fruits hanging from the trees. However, my main goal is the apple pie. They also sell it at the Yoichi Michi no Eki (roadside station), but I wanted to buy it at the main store. I happened to run into some foreigners who had come for cherry picking. The store was crowded, and it was hard to find the apple pie section with all the noise. Eventually, I found a staff member and bought four apple pies. When I got home and took a bite, I found that it was filled with plenty of apples, with a good balance of acidity and a crispy crust. The price was 290 yen, which is quite reasonable. It has the most amount of apples, as expected from a fruit orchard's apple pie.

I love peaches so I went peach picking for the first time! I forgot wet wipes in the car and my hands got really itchy, but there were still some firm ones and lots of sweet and delicious ones too! I thought peach picking was quite enjoyable! I also got to eat plums, prunes, and blueberries, so even though I easily get tired of sweet things, I could try a variety of fruits. If you're going, be sure to bring a wet towel or wet wipes!

After enjoying fresh sea urchin in the Shakotan area in July 2015, we visited Yamamoto Tourist Fruit Orchard, known for its popular apple pies. We arrived around 4 pm and had to wait a bit as a tour bus group was finishing up their shopping. Once inside, we headed straight to the apple pie section. Despite the time and the group before us, there were about 10 pies left. We also picked up some tomatoes and cherry tomatoes that caught our eye. The tomatoes looked delicious with visible star marks, and the cherry tomatoes were described as sweet and part of the fruit tomato variety, making us excited to try them. We also bought some Red Shine cherries, which the staff mentioned were of similar quality to the Satonishiki cherries. We tried the fruits at home later on. The tomatoes were meaty and tasty, while the cherry tomatoes were incredibly sweet and delicious - we regret not buying more. The cherries had a great balance of sweetness and acidity, earning praise from the whole family. As for the apple pie, it was consistently delicious as always. Not overly sweet, allowing the apple flavor to shine through, making it enjoyable even for men. We're not sure how many more visits we can make this year, but we'll definitely be back during apple season.

Located at the northern tip of the Shakotan Peninsula that juts out into the Sea of Japan, Yoichi Town is known as the town of sea, fruits, whiskey, and wine. One place I have always wanted to visit is the popular tourist orchard where freshly baked apple pie is a hit! "Yamamoto Tourist Orchard" offers various fruit picking experiences depending on the season. It is situated away from the national road that runs along the coast of Yoichi, up towards the mountains. The location overlooks the sea from a hill, a bit far from the town center. The main attraction here is fruit picking, but there is also a dining area where you can enjoy dishes like Genghis Khan. There are chairs and tables inside the reception building, but there is also a designated area outdoors in the orchard where you can eat. Eating Genghis Khan outdoors is always delicious! On the day of my visit, there were families enjoying themselves as well. Another popular item here is the jams, juices, and most importantly, the homemade apple pie made with apples harvested from this orchard. Yoichi is famous for the "Yamamoto Tourist Orchard Apple Pie"! It is sold at the Space Apple Yoichi (Yoichi Michi no Eki) and inside JR Yoichi Station, but I really wanted to try the freshly baked one here. After enjoying fruit picking, I finally tried it. Just after they sold out, I was told that they were currently baking and it would be ready in about 5 minutes. I got to enjoy the freshly baked pie! The homemade apple pie made with apples from this orchard is made mainly with "Fuji apples". The pie crust looks thick, but it is actually thin and delicate, crispy and buttery, yet juicy. The apple slices inside are big and the apple pie is warm and melts in your mouth. The Fuji apples are sweet with a hint of tartness. The freshly baked pie was incredibly delicious! Fruit picking at the orchard costs 1,100 yen per adult for all-you-can-eat fruit, and 1,630 yen per adult for fruit picking with a ticket to take home up to 2 kilograms of fruit. They provide fruit knives and scissors, and there are hand washing facilities and restrooms in the orchard. It is recommended to bring hand towels or towels. The fruits you pick to take home are weighed at the end, and if you exceed 2 kilograms, there is an additional charge. During my visit in September, there were various grapes, Fuji and Red Delicious apples, as well as other types of apples and pears, including some I had never seen before. There were also plums ready for picking. I love fruits, so this place felt like heaven to me. Each season brings different fruits to the orchard. Autumn is the best time to visit when the fruits are ripe! It was so much fun picking and eating the fruits! Climbing up ladders to reach pears and apples high up on the trees, and wandering around looking for the perfect fruit felt like a little adventure. The orchard is very spacious. Picking ripe fruits from trees with low-hanging branches and walking under them to find delicious fruits is quite an enjoyable experience! Fruit picking ===========

In Yoichi Town and its surrounding areas, known for their fruits, you can enjoy the largest fruit picking farm. For 1,100 yen per adult, you can eat as much fruit as you want inside the farm, and you can also take home up to 2 kg of picked fruit for 1,630 yen. The variety of fruits available varies depending on the season, including apples, pears, plums, grapes, and peaches. The experience of peeling and tasting freshly picked fruit that you choose is even more delicious! The excitement and fun make you want to be a little greedy. The location is refreshing, and the view on a sunny day is amazing! There is also a Genghis Khan corner and a shop selling jams and gift fruits inside the farm, making it suitable for various groups from families to couples. The homemade apple pie, which is highly recommended, is so popular that it often sells out. After enjoying the fruits, biting into a freshly baked sweet apple pie while looking out over the fruit orchard will double your satisfaction! On the day of the visit, I imagined the weight in kilograms with my imagination... and when I weighed it, it was exactly 2 kg! ...I was a little happy about that (laughs). Price (adult): All-you-can-eat fruit inside the farm 1,100 yen + option to take home up to 2 kg of fruit for 1,630 yen =

"I want to go fruit picking!" In response to my husband's request, we decided to try this place that was listed on Tabelog. Surprisingly, the parking lot was almost full! It might be because it was the last day of a 3-day weekend, but it was very crowded. Now, I love apple pie, so I actually stopped by here with that in mind. They were selling delicious-looking fruits and apple juice, but my eyes were drawn to the apple pie! Oh, but there were none left! There were plenty of potato pies available, though. "Excuse me, are the apple pies sold out?" "No, we have some!" So, I got three apple pies for 280 yen each! They were freshly baked and warm! Lucky me! There were no extra raisins or custard cream, just a simple "pie and apple" combination, but it was delicious! The pie was also surprisingly tasty! The apples could have had a bit more tartness, but they were still very delicious! My husband even said it was the best he's ever had! Fruit picking is also available during this time of year, with 5 types of fruits to enjoy at once: apples, pears, grapes, prunes, and chestnuts! It's a great deal for just a little over 1000 yen! You can definitely eat your money's worth. Eating freshly picked fruits right on the spot is so exciting! The pears, when cut, released a burst of juice! It was a great experience for autumn outings. I definitely want to go back for the apple pie!

I went on September 6th. It was the end of peach season. There were only a few peaches left, but they weren't sweet at reachable heights. They would have been sweet at the top of the tall trees. In the end, I only ate peaches. They told me not to pick pears and apples even though they seemed ready to eat. I think they allowed picking the next day (according to their website). The grapes were all sour and not good. Blueberries were almost finished. It seemed too early for plums. Considering the trip to Yoichi, I wonder if it was worth it... If they had allowed picking apples and pears this time, I think it would have been better. I wonder how it would have been if it was the right season... I wonder if the service will be the same next time...

We have arrived at Yomachi Town, specifically at Yamamoto Tourist Orchard. It is a fairly large fruit orchard with a variety of fruits available. The main reason for coming here was to eat peaches. The entrance fee for all-you-can-eat is 1100 yen. We were given a basket and a knife and entered the vast grounds. We received some explanations and a map of the orchard, but it was so big that we got a little lost. They had peaches, cherries, blueberries, plums, apples, prunes, and more. The apples were still a bit early to eat. We tried a little of everything, but ended up eating the most peaches. They were a bit firm but juicy and delicious. I ended up eating about six of them. The blueberries were interesting to see growing and tasted like they would go well with yogurt or ice cream. With all-you-can-eat, we ended up eating so much that we were full by the time we left. I also wanted to try the highly recommended apple pie on the way out, but I couldn't fit it in. I misjudged my pace. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable experience, and I'm glad we came all the way here.

- 8/22 Visit - Today, I will be visiting the Akai River site for the investigation requested. I plan to finish before noon and have lunch in Shakotan, which I haven't done in a while. Let's head there now. Going down the mountain pass, I have arrived near Yoichi. I see a sign for "Yamamoto Tourist Farm." Apple pie♪ Apple pie♫ (*´∀`*) Every year around this time, I come here or buy it at Yoichi Station. Let's make a stop here (laughs). I parked the car in the parking lot and went inside the shop. As I approached the case with apple pies, the lady pointed and said, "This one, right? This one, right?" "How did you know?! (laughs)" "You kept saying 'apple pie, apple pie'!" she replied with a smile (laughs). I couldn't resist her smile, so I ended up buying "Portland" and "Tabiji" as well. I'll stop by again next month (^0_0^)/
