I went to Hanaden for the first time! While people in Osaka know this place well, I had always thought it was called Hanadenya. The hokke here was incredibly large and delicious. The cheese manju here was also very tasty, I ordered it twice. The staff was very friendly and it was a great restaurant.

On a regular night, my partner and I, who were late from work, decided to have dinner outside and entered this restaurant in front of the station. I had the impression that these kinds of places are open until 2 a.m. or 5 a.m., so I was surprised that they close at midnight. Since it was just before the last order, we ordered various items. The large bottle of beer was ice-cold and served with the glass upside down, which I really liked. The sashimi platter was thickly sliced and quite delicious. The oyster fry had a well-seasoned interior and was also tasty. The cheese-filled deep-fried dish, a common item in izakayas, had butter on top here, making it delicious. However, the yakisoba was not tasty. It lacked flavor, and the noodles had a strange taste. Overall, the other dishes were very delicious, and the service was good without any discomfort. It's a shame that they close early, but considering the location, I understand. I will definitely go back.

This is a izakaya located right after getting off at Takaida Station on the Osaka Subway Chuo Line. The menu is cheap and perfect for grabbing a drink. I happened to see it on my way back from work and thought it would be a good place to go with a friend. We ordered about 3 dishes and each had a glass of draft beer, and it came out to about 2000 yen per person. The yakisoba is a must-order every time I come here. I really like it.

However... how many young female staff members are working in such a small restaurant? (bitter smile) Honestly, it seems like they're just playing around! (sweat) All I hear is chatter and gossip. I'm here for a solo drink, so I sit at the counter where I can see the kitchen, which might be a good seat for me, but the staff's giggling voices are bothering me! Osaka Gyoza - $2.50, Harima Nada Shirasu grated daikon tempura - $4.80. They were having a fair featuring Akashi to Harima Nada dishes, it seems. Seafood dishes from the Seto Inland Sea region in the Hanshin area stand out. I can't help but be tempted by all these options! (sweat) I haven't had Shirasu tempura in a while, so the timing was perfect! Topped with grated daikon and sprinkled with soy sauce... it's hot, and the harmony of tempura, Shirasu, and grated daikon is delicious! (sweat) It's not Chirimen, it's Shirasu, so the perfect softness doesn't interfere with the texture. What's the difference between Chirimen and Shirasu? Aren't they the same? (laugh) Well, in short, they're both young sardines, but Shirasu is freshly boiled, Chirimen is slightly dried after boiling, and fully dried Chirimen is called "Chirimen Jako." Something like that, right? (sweat) The Gyoza... recommended by former Hanshin Tigers player Kawato. It's one of the better-tasting Gyoza in this level of izakaya chain restaurants.

The interior of the restaurant is stylish and clean, with a wide variety of drinks that cater to women. The food is mostly Western-style and delicious. During dinner time, it turns into an izakaya and there are many children around. There are also menu items for kids, making it a lively place. However, as time passes, it becomes quieter. It's a reasonably priced restaurant with consistently good food, making it easy to visit.
