The Midosuji Line, which runs through the center of the city for miles (technically, north of Esaka is operated by the Hankyu Corporation), will be extended by two stations next year. A new station will be built in the middle called "Minoo Senba Handai-mae Station," which is named after the nearby Osaka University and a newly completed library. Adjacent to the library is a café that specializes in Hawaiian cuisine, perfect for the hot summer weather. They offer a variety of dishes such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and loco moco. The café is decorated in a Hawaiian style. Although I was already full, I decided to try their soft serve ice cream. They only had pineapple flavor, but it was delicious. The pineapple soft serve had a perfect balance of sweetness and flavor, with bits of pineapple adding a nice texture. It was quite filling and instantly cooled me down. As I was leaving the café, I was reminded that since it is located next to the library, I had to exit through the library's main gate to prevent book theft (is it called book theft in a library?). Just a heads up!

The Hawaiian burger (served with fries) and the Plantation iced tea buns were delicious with a nice crispy texture. The fries were thin, lightly salted, and had a good garlic flavor, making them easy to eat. You can also bring books to the library, and the atmosphere is great.

It's a biased opinion.①People who eat acai bowls are conscious. ②People who eat at book cafes are conscious. I tried both at once. To make excuses, it was pouring rain outside, and this book cafe was the only place where I could eat without getting wet. It was lunchtime, but I didn't have much of an appetite for solid food. And the result is... no matter where or what a low-consciousness person eats, their consciousness doesn't increase.

Hawaiian burger and drink set for 1,000 yen. It was tastier than I expected. The only downside is that it takes a bit of time to be served, but since it is located next to a library, I think it's nice to wait in a relaxed space where time flows slowly.

This is a cafe attached to the newly opened Minoh Senba Library. I stopped by to peek at the library and ended up having lunch. I had a Hawaiian burger and Loco Moco plate. The burger patty was thick and had a nice volume. I really liked the taste. It's a nice place. Thank you for the meal.

A new campus for Osaka University has been established in Minoh Senba, along with the university library and the Minoh City Library. Next to the libraries, a stylish cafe called "Aloha Cafe Pineapple" has also opened. The entrance to the cafe is on the second floor plaza, with a view of the library through the glass as you enter. The newly built cafe and library have high ceilings, creating a pleasant atmosphere. They are connected, and you can even bring books from the library into the cafe. It's self-service, so you need to secure a seat first before going to the counter on the left side to place your order. They offer items like hamburgers and loco moco, with the option to have drinks included in the lunch set for an additional ¥220 (tax included) on weekdays. After paying, you receive your drink first and then pick up your lunch when it's ready. The table seats were full, so we sat at the counter where each seat had an outlet and USB charger. The food took about 20 minutes to be served, which felt a bit long. I chose the Loco Moco Plate for ¥780 (tax included) because I love sunny-side-up eggs. The fried potatoes were deliciously hot and crispy, and the multigrain rice had a nice texture. The hamburger was juicy, and when I broke the egg yolk, it was so creamy. My companion had the Chicken Plate for the same price, which was quite filling. She said the chicken was crispy and tasted great with a squeeze of lemon. I really wanted to try the pancakes, but surprisingly, they weren't available here (they have fluffy pancakes at the Kitasenri store). However, they do offer parfaits and cakes. Since it's close to the station, I'll definitely stop by for dessert next time I go shopping.

Met up with a friend for lunch while my husband was visiting his parents. We decided to meet at a nearby place, and ended up at a new library. I initially thought about chatting at the library, but ended up just passing through and using the restroom. We were unsure where to park, so we circled around the area until we found the right spot. We finally located the library and went inside. The cafe inside the library offered self-service coffee and a variety of menu items. We ordered lunch around 11:30 am. The food was served in a convenient take-out style packaging. I ordered a Bacon Cheese Avocado Burger with Ginger Ale, while my friend got a salad and a regular burger. The portions were generous and the burger was delicious, although a bit messy to eat. The fries were crispy and tasty. We couldn't finish everything, so I took the leftovers home for my husband. Overall, it was a satisfying meal in a cozy cafe setting.
